We brought in a 2009 truck that had not been well maintained by our son. Rawy did a diagnostic and a nice recommendation about how to split up the work to make it more affordable. We happen to be out of town so we really appreciate it. The back and forth communication that he provided about what to do and what was going on. While he did run into some problems so it took another couple days beyond the estimated original time, we appreciated the info and communication about how this went. He gave us a super fair price for all the work that was done. He also gave us a great referral to get something done that he couldn't complete. We got that done and are so thankful that we were able to get this truck into good running order in less than a week. And at such a fair price too. If I could leave zero stars I would. I took my Chevy volt into Sun City Auto Service to get a quote on a coolant leak checked out. I decided to go to another shop to get another quote and they charged me $100 in fees that were not explained to me at all when I dropped off the car the day before. The day before the employee at the check in desk did not explain the fee for checking the car when I handed over the keys the day before, and tells me it's going to be $100 the next day for the coolant check before I can get the car back. The worst part of this experience was the poor attitude of the owner, rowie talking down to me about my knowledge of my car's issues, and him trying to justify the $100 fee. He said "if you don't want to give me the $100, you're not getting your keys back". When I dropped off my car, there was no explanation of fees. He tells me he can lower the fee to $75, but got flustered/emotional when I started questioning where it explained the fees anywhere in the shop or that the check in desk employee didn't say anything about the fees, and he puts the price to get my car keys back at $100. Overall my experience with this auto shop was shady, and I would not recommend going here. If you do go here, get a summary of charges before handing keys over. Don't let them screw you over like I was and have them decide what fee to charge you that isn't posted anywhere based on how they feel. read more

My wife still drives her 2002 Ford Focus. She doesn't want a new car. It stalled last week in the driveway and would not start. I didn't trust it to make it the 3 miles to the shop. So it was towed. Turned out the fuel pump failed. In the process of replacing the fuel pump, they diagnosed that the main computer in the car was bad. After the repair, the engine ran rough when an emissions sensor was connected. But ran fine disconnected. I also had a Cylinder Temp Sensor that was showing a diagnostic error. This sensor has been replaced twice. I authorized the replacement of the computer. I thought the engine ran well, before the fuel pump failure. Now it runs like it was brand new. Sun City Auto did an outstanding job. The temp sensor did not need to be replace. It's not flagging an error. I had some other routine maintenance, including an oil change and a/c service. Its leaking some and replacement of the compressor is very expensive. So we are going to see if I can get another couple of years, just recharging the A/C each year. They also replaced my timing belt (original). This had never been replace and getting 21 years of use is good luck. The work was well worth it. The price was very reasonable. The communication with me during the repair was exceptional. I'm used to having to call the repair shop to get an update. Not here! Job well done!. I am a satisfied customer. read more

I rented a U-Haul truck from here on July 1. My order was confirmed online and by phone the week of June 12 with a rep from Sun City Auto. When I arrived on July 1 at 6:00 a.m. my truck order was no where to be found. I had to call U-Haul and find another U-Haul provider that had a truck available for the same day, July 1, the busiest moving day of the month. This delayed my move by 2 hours. Sun City Auto did not offer an apology, do not rent a U-Haul from this location. read more

Over the phone Sun City Auto Service said it would be about half that price, but they also said according to the owners manual I shouldn't need any of that work done. I brought it in today and they checked everything and found that I really didn't need any of that work done. They didn't charge me for checking anything. I got a 19.99 oil change coupon out of the paper and called and scheduled an appointment. When making the appointment I was asked what year, make, and model of car I owned. I drove to the repair shop from Sun City Grand (about 20 minutes) and when I arrived for my appointment,I gave the gentleman my coupon and he said that the coupon wouldn't work and my fee would be "36.99 out the door." We are talking a Hyundai Santa Fe, not some exotic car. And if the price would not be the coupon price, why not tell me when I made the appointment? Why make me drive all the way there to be told. I have now had both the Corvette and my 2016 Honda Accord Touring Coupe serviced by Sun City. They know the meaning of the word "time" and when you set an appointment and keep it, Rawy and his crew takes care of you in a very timely manner and at very fair prices.
