I own a 2018 Honda Accord, taking it to the Honda dealership multiple times for service, I decided to get a second opinion on a major repair. I was skeptical as my vehicle was running fine and I was having no front end issues. After speaking to Cristina. She said yeah bring it by. Let me know what you got going on and we'll take a look at it. I'll provide you an estimate prior, which I appreciated and it was considerably less than Honda. An hour after dropping the car off Cristina called me and said I don't know who told you that you needed a new control arm and ball joints, etc. which amounted to a $1800 plus at Honda. They were incorrect and your vehicle is fine with a minor crack in one of the ball joints but nothing that needs to be addressed. not only is an important the quality work is expected when auto repairs are needed, but honesty and Credibility goes hand-in-hand. if I hadn't taken my vehicle over to Ken's auto I would've spent the $1800 at Honda and they would've gladly taken my money, please I strongly recommend Ken's auto repair. I was recommended KARS in 2021 and have never been anywhere else because since day one the whole crew has gone above and beyond. They never fail to provide quality work at amazing prices! I have gone to Cliff and Christina for a multitude of services, ranging from simple things like an oil change, changing a tail light, and brakes. To really large and difficult jobs such as swapping out my engine, and replacing the whole under side of my car after it was in a really accident. Everyone has done an amazing job in the customer service category, constant hello's, "how are you? how's the family?", making small talk when they can. The shop also has a cute little seating area full of greenery, liquids to drink and snacks to munch on. If you're lucky you might be able to play with the boys. The folks at Ken's deserve an award or something. I had been having trouble with my 2005 Toyota Prius, and after a very cursory inspection by my usual mechanic, I was given an estimate north of a grand for replacing the water pump and related parts. I don't know if this is actually the case, but I got the distinct impression my trusty mechanic was telling me in dollar signs that they didn't want to deal with whatever issue my car was having. It's difficult to find mechanics who are willing to work on hybrids it seems. So I started a search for a new place to take my ailing car. Found Ken's by reading reviews on Google and Yelp focused specifically on the Prius and hybrids generally. Called 'em up and talked to Christine. She was fabulous, talked me through the issue, took down some pertinent information, and told me to bring the car in for a look. Two days later, I'm back on the road, and at a third of the price my "trusty" mechanic was planning to charge me. I can't recommend the fine people at Ken's strongly enough, especially if you are one of those people looking for a place that works on older model hybrids. In addition to solving my water pump problem, Christine also did a bunch of research on a charging issue that started at almost the same time. She came up with a workaround that I have been using for the last six months or so. It's getting to the point where I'm going to have to replace my battery pack. Can you guess where I'm going to get it done? Honestly, I don't even want to take my cars back to my "trusty" mechanic for a simple oil change anymore, even though they're much more conveniently located to me. Ken's, I think you may have ruined me for other car shops! In the end, my experience was that these people will go way above and beyond on behalf of their customers, even new ones like me, and for that I'm extremely grateful. Thanks, Ken's Auto Service! I've been bringing all my family vehicles to Ken's for years, and I would do it for their integrity and capability even if they were mean to me (but they're not - nicest people you could ask for). If I could give this place a million stars, I would. I came to them for diagnostics on two of my cars in preparation for a road trip as I move to Illinois, and their service has been nothing below excellent. They are genuinely helpful, communicative and not greedy whatsoever. I can't believe i'm saying this, but I wish my car had more problems or I was staying in AZ longer for the sole purpose of wanting to keep being their customer because they truly deserve all the props and money. The most honest repair shop in the Valley! On multiple occasions, we were told by other repair shops and even the dealer that we needed work done on our vehicles that was NOT needed. An elderly customer came in while I was waiting in the office with a laundry list of items that "needed to be replaced" from her dealer. I am the original owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima. I have always had my vehicle serviced at the Nissan dealership from day 1. This car gets a lot of use as it is my "work car" and runs fantastic. I had a few more costly services needed in 2019 and unfortunately, the dealership estimate was way too much. I found KARS after being referred and brought the car there before making the decision to sell it. They were able to do the repairs needed at an excellent and fair price. And at over 190,000 miles, it is still running strong. My more recent issue was a power steering drip. They took it right in and could have very easily replaced the pump for a few hundred dollars .. instead, Ken figured out that a worn seal needed replacing and didn't even charge me. I would have been none the wiser as I was prepared for the replacement. He was honest. And that means a lot. I highly recommend this repair shop. I have been bringing my car to Ken's for maybe 3 years now. Christina is always polite, helpful and informative. Today she and her mechanics went above and beyond. My car was clicking and having trouble starting. I called Christina yesterday to tell her the situation and asked what the earliest appointment she might have available knowing full well they are normally booked for 2 weeks straight. I was nervous about being stranded somewhere with my car not being able to start. This shop ALWAYS takes care of me . They are very fair. To the point where they quote me a few days to repair something and then calls me 20 mins later to tell me it was something very simple. They want to keep customers so they don't gouge you. I feel comfortable enough to say "just take it in". If it's a big deal, they will let you know. This place has saved me more money than any other repair shop I have been to. Unless my car is under warranty, I wont take it anywhere else. Piece of mind is HUGE. Where do I start? I first reached out for an estimate after the dealership quoted me an overly priced and ridiculous amount. I quickly got a response from Christina with a very reasonable amount and some tips on maintenance tricks I can do myself. When I dropped off my car I was greeted by Christina and her daughter(sorry I forgot her name), but they were both so kind and made me feel like family and assured me that my car would be in good hands. They got extra brownie points for being a family owned business. They did an excellent job on my car and have her running brand new! I'm a shade tree mechanic. 95% of automotive issues I fix myself. Well about a month ago I got myself into a pickle with my wife's Chevy equinox. The car was completely torn apart and to make a long story short I was stuck. I called and talked to Christina. She was very kind and understanding. I threw all the newly purchased parts, existing parts (more parts than I care to list, it was ugly trust me) into the back of the car, called the tow truck and had them take it out there. I told them it was no rush because knew it would take some time. I'd say about 24 hours after they started working on it they gave me a call and said it was done. I have not used this auto repair service yet, but i will be having them do my 60,000 check on my 2012 Hyundai Tucson... today, i had an appointment for a serpentine belt to be changed, because my dealer said there were cracks on the belt. Paul grabbed his flashlight and looked at the belt and said it looks brand new and he wouldn't change it...he showed me the attached belt and it looked new to me also...i appreciate his honesty and he and his company are now my mechanics...i'm going to try and convince them to be my mechanic for my Ram Promaster chassis class B motorhome...fingers crossed... I feel like I found a treasure! I went in expecting to have the upper and lower radiator hose repaired, and I was pleasantly surprised when they told me I only needed the top one done. I gave them permission to do both, and they could have totally taken advantage of me and yet they did not because the bottom one was not needed. That saved me hundreds of dollars. I have two old cars, and I am willing to pay the money as long as people are honest with me. I will definitely be going back to them for all of my car repair needs. read more

We recently used Ken's Kars to diagnose and fix a problem with the AC in my 2014 Lexus IS250. Christina was extremely friendly and professional and I felt confident they would be able to fix the issue. Long story short, the problem appears to be related to a recently changed battery which messed up the functionality of the air separator which was only a $125 problem instead of a multiple thousand dollar problem. I truly appreciated how candid and honest they were. No offense -I hope we won't need their services again any time soon but if we do I'd haveno reservations about taking my car back there. I recently had an overheating issue with my 2014 Ford Mustang. I have used Kars auto repair in the past based on a friend's recommendation and have always been pleased with their service,honesty and fair prices, so I went back again. This time my first trip in did not solve the issue so I went back and it turned out I needed additional parts to fix the problem. Because of my inconvenience or perhaps a diagnostic error, they offered to fix it for the original price quote without charging me anything additional for the extra parts and labor. This level of service is hard to find in the automotive repair industry. I was very impressed with the service provided to me the other day. I came in not knowing what type of noise my car was making when turning the car thinking it might be the worst. I brought it in to them and upon inspection they were able to find the problem which was a few loose/missing bolts and a part rubbing against the wheel well. They were helpful in solving this problem as well as indicating another problems but were not pushy and told me which problems were a must need fix and others that could wait. The repair to my vehicle was seamless. I dropped off car before the shop closed and it was ready the next morning. I inspect my engine on my cars at least monthly. On one car I noticed coolant drips. Signs that my water pump needs replacement. I was impressed with the turnaround time of the repair, the reasonable honest pricing, and the fact the shop cleaned up said dried coolant. This makes my job of inspecting it easier to track for issues. I'm always on top of car maintenance but for projects outside of my skillset I leverage a good mechanic shop. I found a good one here.
