No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. They have top-notch customer service from the most kind-hearted staff and the most welcoming and safe spaces to enjoy their food, drinks, and to socialize with friends or strangers. Check out the Taproom and one of there living room vibe spaces. Grab a burger from Crispi. Slide open a window and walk out onto one of the balcony areas. My favorites are their slushes! What grown up kids doesn't like a slushie + alcohol? Two Tides regularly host street parties with vendors and a DJ. I always make sure to be a Slush Fest. I'm pretty sure throwing amazing gatherings and serving drinks is part of their brand commitment. That might be a stretch but community certainly at the heart of this company and it is noticeable! The bartender was nice while we were checking out. I did not unsafe or uncomfortable in the slightest. If the rest of our family had not been waiting for us back at the house, I definitely would have sat down for a pint. Very cool artwork and awesome vibes. Just how I like a bar!
