Yum yum and yum! We visited Treylor park 2 times for dinner during our 5 night stay. Burgers were delicious. I ordered a bunless burger for being gluten free and the burger was still amazing! Fries were very tasty as well with a nice seasoning on them.We all ordered Moscow mules and extra brownie points as they were served in a copper mug! Our waiter was great and attentive and made sure all of our ordered were correct w no issues! They were busy both nights we visited so we could tell they were well enjoyed in the community. They have an outdoor patio but we didn't sit outside since it was chilly out. Highly recommend for a solid burger and good vibes!

This was a perfect spot to stop and grab some comfort food. We tried these breakfast shots, sloppy Joe and some fried banana peppers. It was all so good!

    Chicken Grilled Apple Pie Sandwich

The Apple pie chicken sandy was an interesting novelty but the story ends there. This place is like a long drive off a short pier if you catch my drift. Very kitschy with trailer park themes as the name would suggest. Ironically low brow menu items to match the theme but the food just wasn't very good. This place was more decor than delish. I'd avoid this place because it's mostly hype so you'll wait for a table during high season and be disappointed by the quality at the price point. Lot of good food in Savannah and this one is pretty average.

Great place for the biggest plate of nachos I have ever seen... I got the chicken biscuit which was great as well. Good selection of beers and drinks with a nod to the old school diner. Heaping plates loaded with gut busting goodness. If you're a fan of fried chicken, gravy, ranch and fries then this is your place.

Really cute, homey spot with a great atmosphere. Our waiter, Levi, was friendly, attentive, and did an awesome job taking care of us. I started with the PB&J wings, which were surprisingly delicious. For my entree, I had the Apple Pie Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, it sounded better on the menu than it tasted. The bread was a little burnt, and the sandwich overall had a greasy/burnt taste. The good news is that everyone else at my table loved their food, so I think I may have just ordered the wrong thing. I'd be willing to come back and try something else. Overall, the service was definitely better than the food during my visit.

    Ahi Tuna Salad

I stopped in around 1:30pm on a Wednesday for lunch, and there was plenty of seating! I was craving something light so I ordered the ahi tuna salad. It was delicious, but I just wish it came with more tuna. I loved that the prices were pretty decent for everything given the area that it's in! I can see how this place could be a vibe when it's more packed :)

A classy joint with a name that under sells it. We visited the riverfront Savannah location and popped in just before the dinner rush. The place was popping and seats were going fast. We opted for an Ahi Salad and a Southern Sloppy Joe. Service was great with Davis being friendly and efficient. This place does get a bit on the noisy side so a bit of shouting was necessary to carry on a conversation. The Ahi Salad was super fresh, generously portioned with Ahi and a perfectly sized salad for a meal. The Sloppy Joe did its name proud. It featured a nice slab of melted cheese on top which locked in the slices of banana peppers. The sauces meat was pleasantly seasoned and not too sloppy but a fork was definitely need to manage the spillage. Serves with waffle fries it made a lovely meal. I'd be glad to return to any of the Treylor Park locations and perhaps dig into the assorted appetizers.

We got to the restaurant around 7pm on a Thursday and didn't have any reservations. When we arrived, what we understood, it is a first come first serve basis. We were able to find a place to sit outside so we didn't have to wait. There are 4 or 5 high tops and bar seating on the patio. It was a warm spring night but it did look like they had heaters if needed. The drinks were good! My husband ordered local beer and was pleased with the taste. The Spicy Backyard Fowl had a unique taste to it as they use their own bloody Mary mix, but I thought it was still good! We had the PB&J wings for an appetizer and what I thought they were going to be was completely different than what they tasted like. I would strongly suggest them if you are looking for an appetizer outside of the box. As for the main meals my fish tacos were very good! The banana peppers gave them some nice heat with every bite but they never over powered. As for the Smash burger, my husband wasn't overly impressed with his meal. The waffle fries seemed to be overcooked with little to no flavor.

    Cobb salad with Aji tuna
    Tim K.

A very good dining experience. A long day of flying and a late night means something quick, easy and not too heavy. This place had a bunch of very good reviews and I was in the mood for a salad and that's where we went. Not a huge variety of salads to choose from but the Cobb salad had everything you'd want. I added some Aji tuna for a little bit of protein, and it was absolutely fabulous. What a large portion of salad do you get. Fresh lettuce, cucumbers, egg, avocado, tomato, crumbly blue cheese, and of course, Aji tuna. Everything was fresh. Everything tasted outstanding. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing topped everything off perfectly.

This place was so cute outside! Drinks were good, the munchies were tasty, and the service was on point. Really want to go back and dine inside.

    Fried Bologna Classic*

Had dinner Treylor Park twice last week while in town on business. I had been here once before a few years back and remembered enjoying the fun play on diner standards. On our first visit this trip, the three of us sat in the main dining area and Brian was our server. He made a couple of suggestions at our request and we were happy with all of them. I rarely have a burger, because I tend to be let down by them in the long run, but I had the smash burger here, figuring these guys would do it justice and they did. The patties were well seasoned and the caramelized onions and special sauce really punched it up. My wife had the Chicken Pancake Tacos. They were a flavor bomb! They also looked like a bomb had gone off on the plate after you tried to pick them up and eat them like a traditional taco. She ended up knife and forking the second two. On our second visit, my wife and I arrived at around 9:30pm after a ghost tour and we sat in the back courtyard. We settled on the Bacon Egg and Cheese Pizza, the Fried Bologna Classic and the PB&J Wings. Being later in the evening, they were out of the jelly for the wings and they didn't have all the ingredients for the Low Country Pizza that we wanted, but that was fine and kind of expected for a place that makes everything fresh, daily. I did hear the waiter at the table next to us offer the option to put lettuce and tomato on their smash burger, which I 100% would have done, if I knew that was an option. Oh well, next time. Food was great as usual and our Recliner drinks were delicious and balanced. Traylor Park is the perfect go-to option for a solid meal any night.

    "Popcorn" Shrimp with cheese popcorn
    Breanna A.

Checked out Treylor park for a quick drink and snack while we waited for our ghost tour. Able to walk in and be seated, quick and friendly service. We ordered the Pineapple Express and Illegally blonde drinks- both tasty, and shared the popcorn shrimp which is served on top of cheese popcorn. Creative and a tasty snack. Hopefully next time we could stop in for a full meal!

    PB&J wings were fantastic

Ask the Community - Treylor Park

    Do we need reservations?

No but there will be a wait during busy times. I don't believe they even take reservations

    Do you take reservations?

As of sept 2022, they do not take reservations

Are happy hour beer prices available when served at a table or just the bar?

    Didn't know don't drink

What are the best happy hours I savannah?

Every hour is happy hour in Savannah!

    Gluten free options?

I don't recall any. At the heart of it all, it is a diner, but you might want to check pics of their menu on Yelp. That might definitively answer your question.

Is there parking or just on the street?

Just in the street. I would suggest parking at the Bryan Parking Garage located at 100 E. Bryan Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Pricing is reasonable and it is within walking distance.

Do you offer a kids menu?

    Yes

Do we need reservations for a week night?

I would call, but since it is off peak season you may be ok.

Are dogs permitted in outside dining area?

    Yes

Is it accessible for a mobility scooter?

Patio might be, but inside is very narrow.

Do they still offer happy hour? If so, what are the specials?

    Yes!

Do they have happy hour? If so, what are the hours?

5-6 pm half off draft beer Monday - Friday

    Please answer the phone?

They're last post said they'd closed to sanitize after a positive covid case, that may be why you can't reach them.

Do they have bottomless mimosas for brunch?

I do not think so... although they do have mimosas

    Are there good vegetarian options?

Yes, I am a vegetarian and I was happy eating there!

    Can dogs come?

Yes! Very dog friendly on the back patio

    Are there bottomless mimosas?

    There weren't when we went.

Are reservations a good idea for a mid-Saturday afternoon visit?

They don't accept reservations except as you walk in you put your name in. It does have wait as it is quite busy spot.

    A good place for kids?

There were small children when we visited. It isn't a place that caters to young children in terms of their menu. But you may choose to eat inside as the outdoor area is more of a bar.

    Do they have air conditioning?

    Absolutely!

While most of the rooftops are regularly accessible to the public, there's something about Myrtle & Rose which has caused it to elude us. Often, it has been closed for a private party, or perhaps it was full. In any case, we finally were carded and sent up the elevator with the slightly aggressive doors. Yes, they close fast. Keep a move on! We were offered a table overlooking the river and served by Will. My wife enjoyed her Amber Hour, and I an old fashioned. I suppose they don't want us getting tipsy and falling off, since my drink may have had 2 or 3 ounces. A good little taste, but not for long for this Wisconsin boy. Let's not go down the road of it being a "real" old fashioned -- I know and enjoy both kinds. (You must when you also own a distillery.) The two shining points of the evening were the view and our server. This spot offers a nice, close-up view of the river from both directions -- perfect for the occasional ships passing in the night. Our server, Will, was very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. By the end of the 50° night, Will had brought a blanket for my wife. While we can handle below-zero temps at home, there's something about 50° on vacation that gives us the shivers. Perhaps it was the dress -- I'm not sure, since I wasn't the one wearing it tonight. Unfortunately, our experience was frustrating from the moment we arrived. The biggest issue was the lack of staff. They desperately needed more bartenders and servers working that evening. As someone who has previously worked in the service industry, I understand that busy nights happen and staffing challenges are real, but this was beyond slow service. We stood waiting for about 15 minutes at the bar trying to get someone's attention just to order a drink. During that time, we noticed several other guests becoming frustrated as well. A few people who had been waiting before us eventually gave up and left, and others behind us seemed equally annoyed. After standing there without any acknowledgment from the staff, I finally turned to my husband and said, "Let's go." We ended up leaving without ordering a single drink. I don't know if the restaurant was unexpectedly short-staffed or if several employees called out that night, but something was clearly off. It's unfortunate because the location is fantastic, and the atmosphere seemed like it could have been a great place to spend the evening. I'd be willing to give it another try in the future, but based on this visit, the service simply wasn't able to keep up with the crowd.

Since it was date night we ordered the raw tower, which comes stacked with everything under the sun: oysters, shrimp, snow crab, lobster and mussels. I also ordered scallops and asked if it could be prepared without butter because of my dairy allergy. The kitchen has no problem making them with olive oil instead. Super delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I came back the following weekend with friends. I made reservations online during happy hour (4-6pm) and we were lucky enough to be seated in the small back dining room tucked away behind the bar. Our server was wonderful and very attentive, and I especially appreciated that she actually paid attention to the allergy notes I included with my reservations. Of course we all ordered a dozen oysters each because they're $1 during happy hour and who can beat that? I ordered the scallops again because I liked them so much the first time, and around the table we had a mixture of lobster, mussels, dressed oysters, turtle cheesecake, finishing everything off with espresso martinis. Hands down delicious. The service was top-tier too. Our server never hovered, but somehow always checked on us at just the right time and made sure we had everything we needed.
