From their website: "One of the oldest running bars in downtown Savannah, Pinkie's continues its presence as a place to get cheap PBR's, listen to great music from the juke box, and - most importantly - host some really colorful patrons." It's a bar. It's fun. Cheap drinks. Priceless ambiance.

Dive Deep this throw-back bar is funky funky and real as hell. Cheap, punky, old school, rock & roll..... and everything in between.

Five bar in the heart of Savannah! Loved the vibe. It was super busy - so must be a local favorite. It's located in a great spot for the late night ghost tours! Get a drink to go!

Just a true classic . A Savannah "must do" .... After you've loosened up .... Great for pre or post adventure ,with strong cocktails & cheap"pony" beers .PBR remains the house favorite although a "Dirty Shirley " Or a Campari & Fernet are common calls ... (Don't crowd the locals , they live here) Do bring your pet ... all the pets ....

Great service. Fun, regular crowd welcoming of visitors. Definitely a PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) bar. Small but not crowded.

Went in for a quick beer on a hot day. Fun talking to locals and the bartender, but cash only retracted us to one beer each.

Loved the fuzzy Palmer! Super small but tons of interesting people and memorabilia. Hubs had a gin and tonic that was a generous pour

Even though the kitchen was already closed, she went out of her way to make sure I was able to get something to eat. She didn't have to do that--it was simply an act of genuine kindness. Great bartenders don't just pour drinks; they make people feel welcome, cared for, and seen. Farah did exactly that. Her positive attitude, willingness to help, and exceptional customer service made all the difference. If you're lucky enough to have Farah taking care of you, you're in great hands. This pub was about a 10 minute walk from the Residence Inn so not bad at all. We arrived a little after 9:30pm and the place was busy in the bar area but plenty of seating in the dining area. We were immediately greeted and able to secure a spot within 2-4 minutes of arriving. You can tell this is a place where visitors patronize but there are also locals who were familiar with the bartender and had history. The bartender was lively and said whatever you want to drink if I have the ingredients I can make it. Old speckled hen and tenets on tap but no other English beer options. More of a variety of Irish beers. If you are seeking your traditional fish and chips as my lovely partner was this is not the place as they do not have fries, anything battered or fried on the menu. We ordered a open faced pot roast sandwich to share and it was a generous portion, meat was tender, gravy was tasty but if expecting roast in the sense of carrots, onions, parsnips this was just meat and gravy. However, I truly enjoyed it and the mashed potatoes were not instant and very tasty and filling. We felt welcomed, cozy and they were thorough on ID's which I appreciated. If ever in the area again we would return as they stayed open until midnight.

Their steak prices have gone up a bit, but the quality matches the price. I started with the French onion soup, a must. It's a hearty portion it a nice size crock. For the entree I had the steak frites + truffle fries. The filet was one of the best I've had in a while. It was a nice, thick cut. Prepared perfectly with a nice sear on the outside. I definitely do not regret our decision as we had a great meal. The interior ambiance of the restaurant truly transports to another place, it is truly beautiful. Our server was so gentle and gave us many recommendations on things to try and even accommodated some of requests. We started with the Espresso Martini and non-alcoholic French 75 (my first time) and these were both great. For appetizers, we had the crab croquettes (cakes), escargots and caesar salad. Everything was delicious (including the complimentary bread) , and to our surprise the Caesar salad had a nice crunch with the addition of fried frog leg pieces (if I'm not mistaken). The main entrees were the stars of the night, while we were originally inclined to try their Steak & Frites, our server recommended the steak tips sautéed over mushroom sauce with pasta and this was the perfect match instead of the classical French fries pairing. We also had the Supreme Roasted Chicken with caramelized veggies and everything was cooked to perfection. We did not leave without dessert and tried their Créme Brûlée, and while it was runnier than usual, the flavor was there. We thought it needed more time. Overall a great experience while in Savannah!
