I thought I had written a review about this location when we were here in July. Not sure where it…read morewent. I will write one now. We were here on July 20-22, 2021. I was so excited to visit this place and was hoping it was as good as I hoped. It was! I am hoping to make Idaho a regular trip every summer and if it is, this will be my go to place. This campground has full hookups. The pads are long. Granted, we only have a 17' trailer but it was nice to have a pull through (others are back ins). Our spot had a little 2 person table on a patch of grass as well as a slab of concrete (perfect for our chairs). The unique part of this location is that it has a pond which looks like it's just for looks but actually you are allowed to swim in it. We brought our floaties and just enjoyed the water falling on us as we floated around. The location has a community building that is VERY clean. You can do laundry here or play games. They also have showers that normally have towels but they were all used by the time we finished in the pond. Propane: You just let the office know, put the tank on your number, then someone comes by, takes it, fills it up, returns it. So convenient. In the evening it is pretty quiet. We had our bikes so rode around the park. Very tranquil. There is a donut shop about a block away. We rode our bikes to it on the next day. Before we left, the owner stopped by and I felt that I was meeting a celebrity. I had read her blog from the start to the last one so felt that I knew her already. Definitely make this your stop when in Nampa or Boise. Not a lot of shade but because the way we were angled in spot #38, the sun hitting us was not a problem. Oh, before I forget, they have a decent size dog park so your pup(s) can run around.

Sites had a gravel space with a little grass btw sites and a small concrete area for a couple of chairs. It's a quiet campground. Sites are a smidge on the smaller side. Think enough room for our 38 ft 5th wheel with truck parked next to us but not a lot of extra space. It worked for us however. We would stay here again. Location convenient for what we had planned.

Newly built RV park that is a clean and offers a nice parking lot for RVs that you can stay in…read more Main negative is that there are only seedling trees and nothing provides natural shade. They have a clubhouse with full kitchen and living area, restrooms, showers, laundry, playground, dog park, and pond swimming. Mostly residents stay here but there are a fair amount of nightly spaces. The residents have P.O. Boxes on site. They have an overflow lot for RV and car spaces / storage. There doesn't seem like a whole lot to do outside of the park. We drove out for groceries about 3 miles away. Otherwise just rested pond side. It's a nice little park if you need to stop for the night.

Arrived on 6/1 to find out there was no water or sewer in the newly constructed sites, but were never told until we arrived (after giving up another site at another park). We did not have either for over two weeks and we NEVER complained about that. Then after being there for 3 weeks our site (one of three, the only other two that flooded were vacant). The site flooded up to the bottom of the coach, we could not get into the coach without walking through dirty water that was just below my knees which resulted in our outdoor furniture and carpets to be destroyed. When I emailed the manager, he told us "it's new construction and you can move out" no solutions, just get out of the park. He was arrogant and rude with much attitude. He just avoids resident complaints (and there are many) without accepting any responsibility or solutions. Also 4 washers and dryers for 200+ residents and when I questioned that was told "I can't have someone in the laundry room 12 hours a day". Never a solution, just attitude. This man has no business managing a park (or anything else). I was also told that "everyone else is gracious and understands the situation" - Meanwhile NO ONE who moved into the new sites is happy, but he would not know that because he is a coward, refusing to take any responsibility for what is going on at the park. He has no clue that there are many uphappy residents, because he doesn't talk to anyone. I went as far as to buy gift cards for the front office and maintenance guys because I knew they were working really hard and working for someone with such arrogance and so full of himself. Find another park so that you don't face the nightmares that we have dealt with at Canyon Springs.

Brand new, paved sites. Still under construction (hence the dirt).

If you're not allowed to have more then one child. Why does the application have two spots for ages. Just seems real fishy.

My husband and I stayed here a month while we were looking for a place to live and the whole time we felt like we were being forced out. We minded our own business, were very quiet and friendly if anyone talked to us (even when the female manager yelled at us for something that was not at all our fault), but still they wanted us gone - and my suspicions were confirmed when she was smiling and happy the day we pulled the camper out. The only time I EVER saw her happy. We had a leaky relief valve and the manager shut our water off - ok, understandable. So we thought we fixed the problem and turned the hot water on again - it leaked again. This time she shut it off and told us if we even tried again they'd kick us out. Okay? So we lived without water for the remaining week in that place. After that, we found a new RV Park and moved there. So I guess they got their wish. Anyway - bottom line is, DO NOT stay here. Almost everyone in the park looks to be living there permanently, the grounds aren't taken care of, the bathrooms are absolutely filthy - to the point where I had to drive to a store to use the bathroom - and the manager is unreasonable and seems to be using. The only positives to this park are: A) It's nice and quiet since it's in the middle of the country and extremely far away from Boise (like an hour drive) B) The owner - who I only spoke to on the phone - seems very sweet C) It's cheap... but that's clearly for a reason Other than that, nada.
