I was in Tucson for El Tour De Tucson..flew in from Missouri. I also flew my new bike in a hard shell bike case. Upon assembling my bike, I was unable to get the rear wheel on correctly We had an appointment in Sierra Vista the next day, so I took my bike with me and stopped into this bike shop. Stressing that wouldn't be able to ride in El Tour, they relieved my stress and fixed the issue I was having within an hour!!!. kudos to their great customer service. this is the worse repair service i have ever received from a bicycle shop! i have lost complete confidence in the bike shop to properly repair my bike and i will not take it back a second time in being apprehensive of getting more of the same. the only work he recommended was to adjust the front and rear brakes and to repair the rear shifter on the handlebar and adjust the alignment on the front sprockets and all of these items were performed by him. the expensive repair the technician made on my bicycle was a waste of my money and time! the next day after the repair was made, i put 9 miles on the bike and the repaired rear shifter completely quit working. this 77-year-old elderly man had a long, slow and painful walk home. i also asked him about the condition of the tires and he said i did not need new tires. he also did not state having any problems with the drive train. days later i took it to another bicycle shop and he verified the shifter was no longer working and it had to be repaired and it was replaced. then he said the front tire had a bit of dry rot as evidenced by a lot of visible small cracks and both tires needed to be replaced so i purchased two new tires. then he said: "you have not had any work done on this bike in a long time," "and due to lack of maintenance the front sprocket, rear cassette and chain has so much wear that these parts need to be replaced." "and the pulley wheel has to be replaced too." read more

Honestly I've got no idea how they do as a business. As a team of professionals, they're a bit lacking. I parked out front of the shop to go to the store next door, and upon leaving was approached by an associate. The gentleman asked if my car belonged to me or "a man friend" and disclosed that the team had bets going. I'm surprised that he felt comfortable approaching a complete stranger to make a sexist remark. Guys, have whatever conversations you like in the shop. My son (14 years old) bought grip tape for his handlebars $50. It cost him. He meticulously cleaned and dried the bars as directed and tried applying the tape. The tape was obviously very old as the back of it was no longer sticky. My son took the tape back and told them about it even before trying to put it on, straight out of the package. Excellent customer service - very friendly. I like that the guys don't push merchandise on me when I visit. While they do suggest services for my bike, they are not pushy about it and in my opinion, are simply providing me options. Most of the suggestions they've provided ended up saving me ca$h in the long run, so I appreciate their input. Buy a bike from them and they will take care of you. For that matter, they will take care of you even if you didn't buy your bike from them. I moved here with an old beater mountain bike and they fixed it proper when needed. With their help I was able to extend the life of that bike. Their commitment to the community is commendable. They sponsor the local high school cycling program, which provides local youth exposure to cycling. And yes, them sponsoring cycling efforts in the community may be a way of bringing them business, but isn't that the goal of a business - to grow? We are a daughter and father who had a dream of biking down the PCH this summer from Oregon down to California. They helped us pick out the perfect touring bikes and all the biking gear we would need. Mark, Steve, and Cumino shared their knowledge with us to make sure we would have a safe and successful trip. No need to drive to Tucson, Sun 'N Spokes did a great job and have everything. I have used them for several repairs and upgrades. Everything was done well and they are very interactive during the entire process. Recently, I had my bike stolen and needed some reciepts and quotes for my insurance. They took the time to ask questions and help me get everything that I needed. The best part is that both owners are very interactive and take their job seriously.
