I dropped off my ebike at 11am, and the taller gentleman told me they would call me when it was ready. The time past and I didn't receive a call l, and I drove from Benson, AZ to get my bike repaired so I wasn't local. I had lunch, ran errands, and some shopping. Since 3 hours had past wirh no call I dropped back in, and this time a shorter guy came out and I told them if my bike was ready and he replied wirh a smart remark with attitude "oh the scotter" I daid no it's an ebike, and I pointed it out saying "oh there it is" it was in the same spot and hadn't been touched. I asked how come it's not ready?. He replied there were others ahead of you come back later, and I asked what time do you close he said 6pm. I told him that's why I dropped it off in the morning and when I called you guys said it could be done no problem. I don't know if this is the norm for the shorter guy to have attitude & treat customers rudely?. He said we're finishing up lunch and it'll be ready in 30 minutes I said ok, plus i asked since you're going to have it apart can you take a look if it needs brakes, he said they look fine I daid ok, because I use it alot and of course it was a concern of mine to have it checked out plus I had adjusted the brakes already I only needed to know if the brake pafs needed replacement. As he worked on my bike he was angry and was frustrated and I hadn't done anything except to have my bike fixed. When I went to pay the taller gentleman charged me $55 I said why he said for whet the shorter guy did to the bike, and apparently he charged me $20 extra dollars to adjust the brakes when I didn't ask him too plus it was only supposed to be a visual & he already given me the answer they were fine. What got me upset was they never asked me if they could adjust the brakes and they up charged me $20 for doing something that had already been done by me and didn't need it. I wasn't very impressed wirh the customer service I received especially the extra charge of $20. It's not the money it's the customer service & common courtesy of letting the customer know what they are doing to your property because it all comes down to dollars and sense. I won't be going back to m&m I'd rather go to their competition although they are more expensive, but customer service is number #1 in my book. I've had several businesses in the past and I know all about customer service and they lack in this area, much room for improvement. This was my experience with them so I'm Yelping it, and I gave 2 stars because the taller gentleman was friendlier than the short guy. So beware before you go, it doesn't matter if they've been in business for 30 years, because they need to go back to basics THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST.

They also adjusted my brakes and derailleur for me and did all this very quickly. Ben's Bikes was nice place, very clean top notch specialty store with lots of bikes, parts and options. The owner found me the best match and best quality and was very helpful answering some questions I had regarding my bike. Cost was same or less than Walmarts where NOBODY EVER ASKS OR HELPS YOU and you end up getting the replacement equipment for the Walmart bikes, but not necessarily the correct parts for other brand bikes, like tires and tubes. My new tire is awesome and makes the other tire look bad now. The tube out of the bix was a much better quality, you could just tell. I'll be going back to Ben's Bikes to get another. Definitely my only place to go now for bicycle equipment, replacement, advice and maintenance.

This is my first review of anything on yelp. Sun 'N Spokes Bike Shop in Sierra Vista is the BEST bike shop I've ever been to. I've raced for the Army Cycling Team - mountain, road, and track and have raced only Trek for the past 10 years. I never thought I'd ever switch to Specialized but 6 months here at Ft. Huachuca for the MICCC changed my mind. My 2013 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Elite is the best bike I've ever hit the pavement or trails with. The guys from the shop live here for only one reason - they LOVE to bike. They are in the business only to have fun and help other riders make the best of their time in Arizona. If you need ANYTHING, go in there and look for Steve, Mark, or David. Steve is one of the nicest people I've ever met and has helped me so much. I go into the shop all the time to get riding advice and talk about trails, rides, and new products. I've gone in multiple times to get new parts to fix my bike or buy some new stuff I read about in a magazine and believe it or not, Steve has talked me out of many purchases. He always went above and beyond to educate me on how to maintain my gear and make it last longer. Seriously, he truly cares about YOU. Which is extremely rare these days. These guys do great work on bikes, are extremely knowledgable, and most-importantly for new riders - they are humble. Not sure if I'll ever make it back to good-ole Ft. Huachuca again, but if I do, you can be sure this will be my first stop to visit! If Sun 'N Spokes sold Mexican Food I'm sure it would be the best Mexican in all of town... considering Taco Bell is #1 in this border town ha. Ride safe ya'll. PS. even if you're not looking for any gear or bikes, drop by the shop NOW (NOW!!!!) if you are new to town and take advantage of their SICK no-flat for 1 year warranty. I used to work bike patrol and got a flat nearly every single day. Once I moved here, I got flats just riding around walmart or on the paved trail around town because of all the thorns. Top quality shop through & through with very knowledgeable and helpful people who get the tough things done without the bs. I've been here 4 or 5 times in the past year, mostly for advice which was solid and freely given without a sales hype. But latest visit earns 5+ stars. I needed new pads for new Shimano 9020 brakes. I searched the internet in the US & UK & nothing. My LBS in San Diego - nothing. I stop in here on Monday, tell them what I need, none are in stock (nobody stocks these) and the guy calls Shimano direct (not a rep) & orders them. and says they'll be here in 3-4 days. I have a couple of high-end bikes and was concerned a small town like SV would have a shop I could trust with my babies. Steve and his staff but me at ease right away. They tuned my Cervelo P3 for IMAZ last year and help out with an issue I had with my Colnago. The mechanics were extra careful with both bikes while working on them and the results were noticeable. Bought some inner tubes for my E-bike and installed them myself. Had a sealant leak (most likely my fault) and brought it back in. Tristan and Cody were extremely helpful and polite, diagnosed my problem and put sealant back in my tire for me. Really appreciate the good service guys! read more

I don't know if it's their increase in volume of orders or quality of help, but it has really taken a dive for the worse. Weird hours, no call backs, locked doors, No Parking signs, so much so that I'm calling them out! On 9/28 I took 2 shirts in to have sleeve patches sewn on and name embroidered on each per spec. On or about 10/30 I went to see where they were, as I had not heard from the company. The patches were WAY out of spec! The excuse was "But that's the way we did it for (so and so). Well, that's NOT the way it's supposed to be done! "So and So" gave you the wrong 4-1-1. Wouldn't it be nice to have a copy of the military/public service agencies' P&P's and R&R's in re: emblem placement or order of precedence? Any other Military, Police/Fire/EMS or Security firm I've dealt with generally has a copy of their uni specs on file. But, oh, that's progreessive thinking, sorry! On 11/9 I called to find out about my shirts. "Uhhhh, how far from the seam do the patches go?" STILL not ready. "Come see us in an hour." 1500 hrs same day: Pick up shirts: Embroidery STILL out of spec, sleeve patches OK. 9/28 to 11/9! Winter is coming; time for long sleeves!!! No Charge.......fine, they made it good but STILL f&*^ked up the embroidery spacing. AND they have a sign/disclaimer that sez bad embroidery ain't their fault and they are happy to show it to you when you utter the words "embroidered."! 2 $90 shirts!!!! FUBAR'ed! I/we have had good experiences with this place, but Man, it has it taken a nose dive!! Well, orders come and orders go and from henceforth, no more orders or recommendations from this house, e-mails to be sent and memos posted. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I had a leveling kit installed on my Tundra last year by Toyota, and rather than informing me the hardware for my skid plate no longer fit, they just kept the skid plate and sent me on my way. I eventually acquired a new OEM plate, but none of the hardware worked due to the leveling kit. I checked every supply spot from Sierra Vista to Tucson, but when I brought it to Micah and explained my predicament he had a plan in mind. He had to custom fab the hardware, modify the skid plate to fit (see photos), and got it on there looking like it was a factory part. I couldn't be happier with the results! Only negative thing I can say is that it took about 2 weeks for him to get my truck into his shop, but that's just because he had a backlog of projects and takes his time rather than rush through them.
