So I called to find out if they could replace my rear tire tube on my ebike since the valve stem was leaking air they said yes, and I asked if it couldbe done whilei eait or come back they said yes & on my way I went. I dropped off my ebike at 11am, and the taller gentleman told me they would call me when it was ready. The time past and I didn't receive a call l, and I drove from Benson, AZ to get my bike repaired so I wasn't local. I had lunch, ran errands, and some shopping. Since 3 hours had past wirh no call I dropped back in, and this time a shorter guy came out and I told them if my bike was ready and he replied wirh a smart remark with attitude "oh the scotter" I daid no it's an ebike, and I pointed it out saying "oh there it is" it was in the same spot and hadn't been touched. I asked how come it's not ready?. He replied there were others ahead of you come back later, and I asked what time do you close he said 6pm. I told him that's why I dropped it off in the morning and when I called you guys said it could be done no problem. I don't know if this is the norm for the shorter guy to have attitude & treat customers rudely?. He said we're finishing up lunch and it'll be ready in 30 minutes I said ok, plus i asked since you're going to have it apart can you take a look if it needs brakes, he said they look fine I daid ok, because I use it alot and of course it was a concern of mine to have it checked out plus I had adjusted the brakes already I only needed to know if the brake pafs needed replacement. As he worked on my bike he was angry and was frustrated and I hadn't done anything except to have my bike fixed. When I went to pay the taller gentleman charged me $55 I said why he said for whet the shorter guy did to the bike, and apparently he charged me $20 extra dollars to adjust the brakes when I didn't ask him too plus it was only supposed to be a visual & he already given me the answer they were fine. What got me upset was they never asked me if they could adjust the brakes and they up charged me $20 for doing something that had already been done by me and didn't need it. I wasn't very impressed wirh the customer service I received especially the extra charge of $20. It's not the money it's the customer service & common courtesy of letting the customer know what they are doing to your property because it all comes down to dollars and sense. I won't be going back to m&m I'd rather go to their competition although they are more expensive, but customer service is number #1 in my book. I've had several businesses in the past and I know all about customer service and they lack in this area, much room for improvement. This was my experience with them so I'm Yelping it, and I gave 2 stars because the taller gentleman was friendlier than the short guy. So beware before you go, it doesn't matter if they've been in business for 30 years, because they need to go back to basics THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST. read more

They helped me out by fixing my tire issues by putting in heavy duty tubes both front and back and also installed tube liners in the tires. They also adjusted my brakes and derailleur for me and did all this very quickly. I was riding in the El Tour de Zona this weekend and my gears wouldn't shift. I took my bike in to M&M and Martin took excellent care of us. He took my bike in on Friday and it was done by Saturday afternoon. He took the shifters apart and lubricated them and charged me a fair price. I worked as a bike mechanic through high school and college. However, when traveling for work I often have to find good and reliable shops. I rarely find one that meets what I think are achievable standards of knowledge, customer service, and approachability. Mike at M&M has built a fantastic shop that is user-friendly, well-stocked, and run by experts. I highly recommend stopping by and giving them your business. Bike shops have a common ailment... they are run by cyclists. To a cyclist, this is comforting. To non-cyclists it produces anxiety and leads to reviews of 'snobby' sales people and aloof mechanics. Truth is, lots of bike shops are stuffy and many sales folks and mechanics are snobby (for no apparent reason). YI have years of experience as a mechanic and have state titles as a competitive cyclist, but I don't go around advertising these bona fides so I can get the 'cyclist treatment' in a new shop. In fact, I somewhat enjoy going in new shops and seeing how the average non or new cyclist feels based on how the shop treats such commoners. Long story short, M&M passed the test while their competition did not. I'm not going to bad mouth the other guys - I'll just say that M&M is the real deal and one hell of a bike shop. I bought my hybrid bike from this business in 2018. It was the right bike for me . These owners know biking and it would not have happened without their expertise. I originally bought my bike (Gary Fisher) from here in 2009 and the salesman was very helpful when it came to finding the right mountain bike for me. He helped me to find a great bike that fit my needs and my budget at the time. One of the things that I really liked is that he actually talked me out of getting a more expensive bike since it wasn't in line of what I was looking for. I came back to the shop this year after returning to Sierra Vista and I immediately dropped my bike off to get a look over and a tune up. If you are on the road anywhere withing 250 miles of Sierra Vista, Arizona and you need some bicycle assistance or gear, head to M&M Cycling. I am in week three of a year-long road trip. I had been lifting/pushing/pulling my bike in and out of the back of my van. I am almost 70 years old and was getting a little tired of this, plus it was usurping good storage space. M&M had what I needed - I had checked at other bike shops, Harbor Freight, and nasty ol' Rack Attack. M&M put the rack on my van, made a minor adjustment to accommodate my rear-mount spare tire, loaded my bike, helped me figure out a way to lock it without buying a new lock from them, and sent me on my way in less than 30 minutes. Always polite, always informative about bikes and all the miscellanea that goes along with it. We take our bikes here every Spring to get the tires green gooped and to have extra thick innertubes put in. Crazy sharp thorns and goat heads around the desert to eat your bike up. They are quick and polite. Always leave our older still good tires with them for charitable re-use. Opened up the floor and service area a bit more, so nice and open to check out all the gear and bikes they have on display. *Only downside, and not really one, they need a bench or two for sitting when waiting for work or such. M&M is simply the best! Our family was visiting Sierra Vista over Easter weekend and M&M was closed over the Sunday holiday (actually they are closed every Sunday). Not only did they allow us the rent the bikes on Saturday (with no additional charge since they were closed on Sunday) but they arranged for an early morning pickup of the bikes at our hotel on Monday so we could make our flight home. I got a flat on my double jogging stroller called them, they had just closed, but the guy I spoke with still asked what I needed, asked are you close,I said yes, and he said come by we will take care of it for ya. I went there and got a stronger tire tube they also put a sealant on it as well...I have been walking all over and off roading and still have yet to have a flat tire!
