I've been here a few times... The last 2 times my nails have looked terrible. I should have cut my losses the first time they looked bad, but decided to give it another chance, different nail tech, and they are by far, worse than before. My nails have never looked this bad. And the way they acted as if they couldn't understand me, when I had clear conversations with them before today. Its upsetting. Now I'll need to get them soaked off and redone somewhere else. I should of stopped the tech the moment I knew it was gonna be bad, but I was stuck paying for it regardless and I let her finish, and it progressively got worse. Warning. Don't come here. If I could put zero stars I would. I've been getting by brows waxed for about 30 years and never had any issues. The redness goes down I'm 15 minutes. I went to this place cause my regular spots were closed. After my brows were done I was experiencing pain and a burning sensation like I never had before. I gave it a couple of hours and the pain wasn't better and I was looking pretty bad. I went in to complain in efforts to help keep this from happening to someone else. They gave me my money back minus tip. But the lady that did this to me was extremely rude and said that I came in like this she didn't acknowledge that she burnt me or even say sorry. I've been going here for years.. this is the 2nd time this year I've come in for a pedicure and they leave me with a swollen toe nail. Cherry did my pedicure both times and she doesn't full check to see if you have ingrown so when she goes down your side nail she does it half way and leaves particles stuck in middle that make you get a bad swollen nail. Very disappointed. I have been coming here for 10 years to get my eye brows waxed. Came in on Friday 1/26/24 for my usual waxing. My total charged to my credit card was 15.50. I paid the $5.00 tip in cash, and I x'd out the tip section on the receipt. Two days ago I happened to looked at my credit card statement and they charged my credit card $31.00. If I could give this place a negative stars I would! I waited almost 2 hours for a pedicure, then when it was my turn the owner Ann did my pedicure even though I wanted another lady. She was very rushed, did not even talk to me and asked me to get up before my nails even dried. I spent $39 for just a pedicure and tip and then didn't even say thank you for the tip. That night I looked at the job she did and was shocked at how horrible it was. I went back the next day and she told me that I messed up my own nails. It's unfortunate to have to leave this review but I feel like I have too because I truly feel like I was robbed of my money, I got charged $67 for a basic pedicure which by the way idk why they considered it a pedicure even for it just being a basic pedicure my feet sat and soaked in water for most of the time she scrubbed the bottom of my feet and did not cut any of my cuticles except for my left big toe but proceeded to only do that, so I am not sure why the $27 for a pedicure where charged when the work was not even done the right way, secondly I had acrylic on ALL of my toes except for 3 which would be considered an acrylic overlay on those 3 toes, she went on to glue a plastic nail tip on my left big toe which by the way she never asked if it was ok with me for her to do this, from what I am aware if your toe nail is long enough, they can simply overlay the acrylic which is what she did with my other two toe nails that had no acrylic, so now for the rest of my toes its as if I was just getting a normal fill because they already had acrylic on them, she goes on to shape and file all of my toes which all look so horribly uneven and I hate to say that because she was very nice but so unprofessional she proceeded to cut me with the machine a few times which I also hated, I also let her know I was not going to be needing her to paint my toes as I was going to do it at home she said ok, once it was time to pay I asked the front desk guy that was charging me "please ask her what she is charging me for" he said "$27 for basic pedicure (which I did not get) $40 because you got acrylic on all your toes"! ARE U FCKING KIDDING ME! $40 is a new set! I got a damn fill I proceeded to ask and the woman in front proceeded to chime in and say "yes that's what we charge" I said "I already have acrylic I basically just got a toe fill" mind u no color nothing on my toes no extra nothing! I'd been coming here for quite some time until they buffed out my nails to the point of breaking one time. I got over it & decided to give them another chance and had been satisfied up until now. Came in with a dip manicure and was told that the techinican didn't know how to remove dip nail polish. Okay, understood. Another nail technician comes over and starts to break off the polish off my nails, breaking some in the process. When I told her it hurt because she was literally yanking off the polish, she proceeds to tell me every acrylic manicure dries the nail and causes damage. Eventually got really frustrated and left after the first nail tech kept repeatedly buffing out my nails to remove the "leftover powder". Left with super brittle, thin nails. More upset about the fact that they proceeded to do something that completely messed up my nails instead of letting me know they didn't know how to properly remove the polish. Still paid because I'm not a confrontational person, but still pretty upset about what they did. Nails grow back, whatever but definitely the last time I go to this place. Update: went back to request a refund. Owner of the place stated she had offered to soak my nails for 45 minutes instead of yanking off the polish. Not true. It's been a couple of hours and I am still bleeding and very sore. Hopefully it doesn't become infected. The gel polish flooded my cuticles and she didn't even file my toenails. Looked up this place on Yelp before I took my daughter. Star rating was low but reviews were genuine. So I thought. We were in the area so we stopped by. I Was unsure upon arrival due to the place being all blacked out. My daughter insisted we go. Wait wasn't long, that was a good sign. They were very kind and attentive to my daughter. That's what gained the second star: I truly only think they deserve 1 star. Everything took soo long. My daughter is young and got the kids package. We Both got gel polish which I was under the impression was included because they just handed us gel polish nail samples....this could get long so To make a long story short it took less than 24 hours for 2 of my daughters nails to come completely off. 3 of my nails chipped and I am not an active heavy duty working person at all. I've been at home being a housewife and mom. Now here comes the price issue: upon being presented the prices on the wall upon arrival I agreed to the kids package $30. Adult mani pedi $40. I was told to get gel and we selected our colors. She said my daughter was very sweet and would do a FREE flower design. I didn't say no. On my 2nd person change during my pedi I was offered a callus removal for $5 more: I agreed because come on let's be honest...covid happened and my feet weren't the prettiest. So far that is $40+$30+Free+$5. Now I get to paying and was brought to the register. I hand my card and give my daughter tip $ for each person. At this time I was exhausted (2 hours later for a basic service) I give her $5 each and she hands them out to each person we dealt with. I signed my receipt and got on my way. $115!!! $115 charge. So somehow I ended up paying $115+$15 in tip. You do the math. I won't ever go back. I have also learned not to go out on whim while running errands. Research your nail place first. DO NOT GO HERE! Long story short, my daughter and I are new to lancaster. I've always gone to the same salon in Santa Clarita. So, I try something new and bring my daughter to get hers. So after I'm all cut up she decides to put alcohol all over them. After I told her no more cause it burned, she looked at me like I was crazy and insisted to squeeze my fingers where the cuts were. At this point I really just wanted to punch her in the face. So then it's my daughters turn. I have no real complains with the lady that did hers except she was the biggest BITCH, and made my daughter seem like she was asking for the world. She got mad at her, like c'mon she's 4 dude. Anyway, my daughters nails chipped the next day. Horrible job. And.. My nails STILL hurt so bad. This is a week and a half almost later. I posted a picture of my pink gel nails. I came here for a simple clean up and was treated with utter disrespected. I came in for a service not their commentary. They were sloppy. They were rude to other customers. My friend asked to have her acrylic nails removed and they were so harsh with her that she yelled due to the pain. I have been to multiple nail salons and have had good and back services. I wanted to treat myself and my two nieces to mani and pedis we came across Sun Nails. I got my oh so adorable gel nails and my nieces both got spa pedis. My gels where only $25.00!!! everywhere else to my knowledge starts at $30.00, but what really sold me was my nieces spa pedis was only $15.00 and that's with a design! My oldest nails are neon yellow with black polka dots and my youngest nails are hot pink with cute daisys. They are all really nice and made us feel really comfy. I'm giving this 4 stars so that it doesn't get hidden and everyone will be able to see what a rip off this place is. They deserve less than one star. This was my first time going here. I like to try new places out here and there. But... My toe is a puss filled, infected mess. I went here on my wedding day! I got a pedicure, manicure, and eyebrows. Pedicure is 18, manicure is 12. Which is 30. And then I paid 5 for cuticle remover which is 35. Then eyebrow waxing is 8, so that's 43. Somehow they managed to charge me 48 plus the 50 cent card fee so 48.50. When I finally left and got in my car she RAN OUT and blocked the way and said that they needed to charge me 5 more dollars for the cuticle remover that they already charged me for! The lady made me go back inside and charged for another 5.50 because of the card fee. My sister caught all of this on a snapchat video. It was very embarrassing and I just wanted to get the hell out of there. My toe hurts so bad, and it looks very red and swollen. I have never had such a rough pedicure in my life.
