The grounds are beautiful, the people were friendly and accepting of a newcomer. It's a nice place to undress completely and just become one with nature while enjoying natural freedom. The sauna was fired up, which added greatly to the whole day. If you are a naturist, you should check it out. Get comfy and become part of a community that accepts the freedom of clothes-free living. I may even join next year so I can enjoy life in a natural and comfortable way, relaxing the way I prefer, without judgement. Highly recommend anyone interested in naturism to go to Dyer Woods, step out of your clothes and into a liberating day of relaxation.

The trails and scenery are beautiful and going nude just made it that much more special. I volunteered with the Fall clean up and met more wonderful people. Returned this year (2025) a couple times. Enjoy the Fall time during the week. On my 10/7/2025 visit, the nice woman that checked me in said the sauna was open. I hadn't visited that yet. Went hiking the trails, sat in a lounge chair by the pool pond and read a few chapters of a new book, then decided to try out the sauna. So glad I did. After that took one more hike. I really enjoy Dyer Woods and will be coming back again and again.

The nudity takes a bit getting used to. I found it best to just go for it once there. Had some marvelous conversations. Thinking about it , I think the staff could be a little more aware of newbies and maybe check in on them. Maybe whoever brings you on the tour. My only minor concern. Scarborough is a State Beach with lifeguards until 6 pm. The grandchildren over the years enjoy making sand castles, jumping the waves, and walking along the shoreline. The surf here is more gentle than nearby Narragansett Beach. Scarborough State Beach with its large pavilion and expanded beach area, with the nearby Scarborough South, offers a wide range of beach related activities. People of all ages can find activities of interest from sun bathing on Scarborough's sandy beach, and people watching on its boardwalk to picnicking under shaded shelters, and saltwater bathing in one of Rhode Island's most popular spots.

Campground and pool were immaculate. People were so welcoming. We got a full tour of the site and fell in love with it. The next year we booked a four night stay in their premier cabin, a comfortable, full-featured bungalow. We got to know members of the association who each participate in all aspects of the upkeep and improvements. They are a dedicated and proud group of people- and rightfully so. Parking can make things a little tricky, but you won't need to walk for more than 10-15 mins from your spot to access the beach. Beach access is $10 a head, which may seem steep but I think is pretty average for beaches nowadays. The sand was nice, the beach staff was friendly, and the water was SO clean. The beautiful color drenched cliffs, the roaring waves crashing effortlessly against the rocks, and the powdery soft sand caressing my feet made for the ultimate relaxing experience in nature. It was almost surreal. There's a destinated parking lot down the road so anyone with mobility issues may find it hard to access. There were no bathrooms, food, or beverages available unless you make the trek back up to Aquinnah cliffs (15 min walk uphill). There's supposedly a section that's designated as a nudist beach but I didn't see it. Moshup is a bare bones but stunningly beautiful beach, a must see while on Martha's Vineyard!

There is a multitude of naturally tumbled rocks of all colors and types. The surf was up and we observed several surfers enjoying the day as well. Parking is very limited and most of Moonstone Beach road is littered with no parking and private property signage, but the no parking zone is apparently not frequently enforced during the off season.

"A wonderful spontaneous weekend getaway"…read more My husband and I (a coupe in their 30s) having been wanting to visit Abbott's Glen Clothing-Optional Inn and Campground for quite sometime so the morning after a long planned house party at our first house we decided to treat ourselves to some much deserved rest and relaxation in VT. Amy was very kind about finding us a place to state at the inn and very upfront about it being next to the recreation area and across the road from reception. The service was outstanding all around from the cozy country room to clean showers and bathroom and amazing homemade meals. The gourmet pizzas had been amazing that we had while dining outside on the patio with other inn guest and breakfast in the morning had something for everyone. We love the person feel you get while there, you just do not feel like guest #1243 passing by the front desk. They offer cold drinks on the honor system and ice. There is so much to do and it's exactly as advertised if not better. The one thing I would enjoy is a list of suggestions for food/dining in a 30 Min. radius for those who do not know the area well during the times meals are not available. We can't wait to visit again :-) BTW Make sure to visit the river beach it's so relaxing. Every accommodation at Abbotts Glen is so unique, make sure to view all the details/photos on the Glen's website and feel free to ask questions.

We just got home from a weekend at Chateau du Lac, and what an incredible experience! We were…read moreinvited to a party nearby, so we were just looking for a nice place to stay close by that we could hopefully relax and enjoy while visiting friends in the area... Well we got so much more than we expected! Everything about this place is just stunning, the historic house, the meticulous gardens, the gorgeous Victorian gazebo, the private sandy beach, all of the spa-like amenities, the list goes on and on! We stayed in the Tower Room, which had a very comfortable bed and a convenient half bathroom. The main shared bathroom was well equipped with a multi-head shower, jacuzzi tub, and steam room! There is a beautiful roof deck with comfy outdoor furniture and a perfect view of the grounds and lake. We took the pedal boat out to the lake and swam in the crystal clear water! We lounged on the sandy beach and relaxed in the in-ground hot tub overlooking the lake! The breakfast was home-made by our amazing hosts, Roy and Claudette, and was delicious both days. After learning about my gluten allergy on the first morning, Roy specially prepared gluten-free Belgian waffles for us on the second morning! They were absolutely delicious and I was so overjoyed that they went out of their way to make a special breakfast for me! The house was immaculate and we had everything we needed and more. We booked this B&B as a convenience, however we ended up with a totally rejuvenating experience. We were able to relax, refresh, and reconnect. In the future, Chateau du Lac will be a weekend getaway destination for us! I really cannot recommend it highly enough. Roy and Claudette were unbelievable hosts and I very much hope to be back to visit them and their wonderful bed and breakfast very soon!
