I had been going there for many many years and they had a huge employee turnover. At one point they had a steady flow of regulars, but they had some new people come in and didn't know how to set the color to the spray terra machine, and sometimes the town wouldn't come out properly. Sometimes the spray machine didn't work and you have to haggle with the owner and his associates to get a respray and it's annoying. other than that, I'm the customer and I don't need to be harassed when things don't come out right so I stopped going and I'm happy that I'm not going there anymore because I need good customer service especially when you're paying anywhere from $25-$30 a spray tan. Plus, I can't sit in a tanning bag as I have a tendency to get skin cancer so I have to do the spray tan. I'm hoping that some new places will open up in the San Fernando Valley so that we can all go somewhere else. The place used to be great, but it's not worth the money to argue in the machines aren't working. read more

Love this place! I've been a member for a couple of years and always have a great experience. There are a variety of uv beds and spray tan booths. There are moments the salon is busy but the lovely ladies are always working hard to clean and get you into the next available bed as soon as possible. I tried the new K11 Air tanning bed and it's a huge upgrade. What really stands out is how customizable the experience is, you can choose your intensity level and even adjust the "time of day," which makes the tan feel much more natural and controlled. The bed itself is extremely comfortable, very clean, and feels high-tech without being overwhelming. I noticed an even, smooth tan without feeling overheated. Staff was helpful explaining the options. Definitely worth trying if you want a more personalized tanning experience. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place ! Out of ALL the tanning salons I've been to in my life, this is definitely my favorite so far!! The owner is so nice whenever he's there, and the girls that work there are awesome! Not only do they remember me & which bed I like, but they also usually always remember that I like two towels ! And don't even get me started on the red light / tanning bed!! Im obsessed! Even if Im not able to go tanning for a week, I make sure to get there EVERY Wednesday so I can upgrade to the red light bed for cheaper (because I've got a membership! ) So keep doing what you're doing! Hii the first time i came here i got an airbrush tan with emily and absolutely loved it. the second time i came here wasnt that great. i got an airbrush tan a few days ago with a different girl and im so blotchy. half of my hands are pale and it looks like she put the spray directly on some parts and others it looks like she misted it. i really would like to get a refund and next time im definitely scheduling my tan with emily. read more

Somehow my review disappeared? Place has gone down hill. It's clear to me that NVS is on its last leg and that it's likely not as profitable as their 2 other valley locations. Beds do not appear well maintained at all. Wasted money on a package taking the suggestion of the girl working there. They don't seem to ever have more than 1 worker at a time here so you are sol if they are busy airbrushing someone. The girl working there was about to airbrush someone saying the bed I want isn't available and that it would take awhile for me to use it since she had to airbrush someone and clean the room and recommended another one saying it's the same level. Made some comment to me along the lines of liking it more and I said something like and if I don't in which I was told I was sol (not those words but you get the idea). I now have red uneven splotches on my body and my bottom looks like the back of a baboon :( Using up the rest of my package and returning to Insatiable as they price match seem to have 2 people working there at a time, and their beds seem maintained much better. Only reason this isn't 1 star is because their prices are decent enough. read more

I'll start by I have been tanning here for many years. The girls over the years have (for the most part) always been amazing & so helpful. I recommended this place to my friend & told her to talk to the girl that has all the tattoos (I can never pronounce her name right, I'm sure I'll butcher it if I try to even spell it, but I leave smiling everytime! She is always SINGING, laughing & cleaning. Sweet girl for sure. (All are sweet) I told my friend that T would totally make her feel comfortable and steer her in the right direction. She went yesterday & purchased some sessions & a lotion with her & called me after she left. She was so happy & excited. Well Today her & myself both came in but unfortunately our gal T wasnt in (which was totally fine since I THOUGHT all the gals were kind) but apparently while I was tanning my friend was in the lobby waiting for a bed & she said she over heard the gal behind the counter having a nasty conversation about another employee. How EXTREMELY unprofessional & DISTASTEFUL of that "employee"! My friend walked out (didnt tan) and is now talking about getting a refund & not going back because if an employee can talk like that about another co worker , then makes us think what is being said about the customers?! I'm no SOOO incredibly embarrassed that I took her there. We will now BOTH be taking our business to Tan Lines in Burbank. I am hoping to 1st come in and speak with the owner so we can describe who was working. And hopefully my friend and I can BOTH get our $ back. read more

Soooo happy with my experience at this tanning salon! I've been going for a few years now, and it's honestly the best. I've been to several others in the past but this is my favorite. The staff is always so amazing, especially Tatiana! Everytime i come in, she always greets me with big smile. We always chit chat and everytime she has me cracking up! I also always hear her singing. I've been coming here on and off for years!! Like 15 + years. I use to work around the area and now live nearby. I've went to other salons but I always revert back here. I've tried the spray tan and all beds various levels. All food experiences. My other go to was Miami Tan in Granada. It's just too far for me now. Today ii splurged on the platinum level 1 month package $189. No monthly commitment. It's a little pricey but it's clean, friendly staff and what I know.
