I'll start by I have been tanning here for many years. The girls over the years have (for the most part) always been amazing & so helpful. I recommended this place to my friend & told her to talk to the girl that has all the tattoos (I can never pronounce her name right, I'm sure I'll butcher it if I try to even spell it, but I leave smiling everytime! She is always SINGING, laughing & cleaning. Sweet girl for sure. (All are sweet) I told my friend that T would totally make her feel comfortable and steer her in the right direction. She went yesterday & purchased some sessions & a lotion with her & called me after she left. She was so happy & excited. Well Today her & myself both came in but unfortunately our gal T wasnt in (which was totally fine since I THOUGHT all the gals were kind) but apparently while I was tanning my friend was in the lobby waiting for a bed & she said she over heard the gal behind the counter having a nasty conversation about another employee. How EXTREMELY unprofessional & DISTASTEFUL of that "employee"! My friend walked out (didnt tan) and is now talking about getting a refund & not going back because if an employee can talk like that about another co worker , then makes us think what is being said about the customers?! I'm no SOOO incredibly embarrassed that I took her there. We will now BOTH be taking our business to Tan Lines in Burbank. I am hoping to 1st come in and speak with the owner so we can describe who was working. And hopefully my friend and I can BOTH get our $ back. read more

I've been coming here on and off for years!! Like 15 + years. I use to work around the area and now live nearby. I've went to other salons but I always revert back here. I've tried the spray tan and all beds various levels. All food experiences. My other go to was Miami Tan in Granada. It's just too far for me now. Today ii splurged on the platinum level 1 month package $189. No monthly commitment. It's a little pricey but it's clean, friendly staff and what I know. Soooo happy with my experience at this tanning salon! I've been going for a few years now, and it's honestly the best. I've been to several others in the past but this is my favorite. The staff is always so amazing, especially Tatiana! Everytime i come in, she always greets me with big smile. We always chit chat and everytime she has me cracking up! I also always hear her singing. Great customer service, the girls are always really nice. It's nicely maintained and clean. My only complaint is that I have a monthly membership but the bed I pay for is never available. I've been to many tanning salons and usually if there are 1 or 2 people waiting for my bed I've been offered a free upgrade. Otherwise I'm stuck waiting for 15-30 min. Sometimes I wait a really long time. I think management should consider different ways to accommodate guest paying a membership fee. read more

Being that I don't get out in the sun much, my girlfriend thought buying me a package set of tans would be a thoughtful and much needed gift. (I'm questioning who this "gift" is really for ;) Growing tired of hearing "honey, when are you going tanning?" I finally forced myself to appease her and get this dreaded moment over with. I must say, it was actually very cool! I guess I thought it would be dirty and lame, but much to my surprise it wasn't. It was spotless, and the girl working there "Hailey" (I had to ask) must've have noticed my discomfort upon entering and made the whole experience a painless one. I wish I would have had a good experience. It was easy to make an apt and the location is convenient, but I went in for a tan and came out with a dirty arm. This is several days later and it's finally starting to fade but from day one it was bad. I hadn't had a spray tan in a while. I let them know that and that I had a special event. They didn't mention you have to put the lotion on your wrists and I repeated back the instructions and everything. Anyhow life goes on. I asked for feedback from the manager...haven't heard anything. So I have not personally been here however when I called today to get information and the receptionist was laughing I believe with either a coworker or Someone that I couldn't even understand what she was saying . She she asked me did you hear me I said no I just heard you laugh she just continue to laugh. I am already light dark skin don't need a tan but for my photoshoot i required one so i can have more aesthetic look. So i found this place closer to my gym and home. First i was uncomfortable going in. But it turned out to be greatest experience ever. Ciara explained to me all of the plans they have and which tanning bed does what. But i ended up choosing spray tan. Omg I can't believe it made me look more leaner and aesthetic. I loved it. I think i will be going for spray tan every week now. Great service. The owner and his staff members are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and acommodating. Great deals. Clean facility. Membership is worth it! Members get 20% off products and daily specials. The only inconvenience is parking because it's a busy plaza. I read a review about the business not showing you their policies- they do. Ok so guilty! I'm a regular at SunSpa but another location. It was 7/03 and I was in the area and I wouldn't have made it to my SS location so I decided to give this location a try. The staff was so so friendly & welcoming. She prompted me to signing in and processing in their system no more than 5-7min. (FYI star 2 is for the staffs great service.) I made my way to the versa for a 3 as my session was completed I didn't feel like my entire front area (chest-lower. Abdomen) were sprayed at all but I thought to myself 'don't make a fuss Tiff by the time it develops you'll be fine!' Except I wasn't so I make my way home per uge I've been tanning for years so I know the dos & don'ts. The 4th comes and I'm at a friends in Malibu laying out in a 2 piece as I make my way inside my friends are laughing the entire center area of my bum down to the center of my legs to about mid calf was PALE as can be. So I don't tan (I can't I'll Burn/ rash) but my friends suggest I add oil to "even out" worse idea ever Bc on the white/pale area of my bum I am burnt badly. So for the 4th I was not only poorly tanned but burnt as a result of trying to save a bad tan! Anyways I've Versa'd 99 times &could do the positions in my sleep. So whatever the reason may have been ?? I guess I have to stick to my local Tanning location to avoid large missed areas. I have pictures & will be uploading those as well so you can see the extent of the missed tan areas. read more

I had been going to the same tanning salon for over 10 years but since I moved to the opposite side of the valley I no longer found it convenient to keep going there. So I did a little research and stumbled across this place! And I am so happy I did. The girls working at the front desk are awesome and super sweet, very helpful and made the experience a very pleasant one overall. The prices are average I'd say, but the equipment is very technologically up-to-date and I am very satisfied with the level of tan I have obtained just from going three times so far. I was really excited to visit NVS Tans because I've heard they are one of the best tanning salons in the valley. Parking is very easy because it's a huge lot. The salon itself is located in a strip mall on superior and reseda. When I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist and then explained to her I was a first timer and I interested in packages. She had me fill out a survey about my skin and was recommending the various packages based on my skin-tone, sensitivity..etc. I chose the six session ultrabronz package and got an extra tan for being a first timer. I also purchased a packet of tanning lotion to enhance the tan. Once everything was set up, she showed me to my room, showed me how to work the machine and that was that. I applied the lotion and ended up using only half the package. The tanning bed was clean, spacious and it smelled really good inside. After the 20 minute session, I did see tan lines already. I love this tanning salon and look forward to going back. read more

Really bad business practice in my experience. I bought a two for one spray tan only to be told that they wouldn't honor it because their employee shouldn't have sold it to me. Seriously?!? I argued that their employees training was not my problem and they should honor my purchase. They only option they gave was they would give me a free spray tan, if I bought a package of them. I don't think so. I wouldn't trust them not to tell me next time I came in that my tan package was null and void for whatever dumb reason they could come up with. You already stole my money now you want me to trust you with more of my money? Not going to happen. Buyer beware, they are crooks. read more
