My Roomate has been trying to convince me to infrared sauna for ages - today I finally joined him after my gym sesh and let me tell you I feel revived. You get greeting by super friendly staff, that walk you through your first time and set you up. You go into a private room with the sauna and you can plug in your music and even choose your lighting. Good pricing, clean beds. My only complaint is that on the higher level beds, it is very hard to turn off the face lamps. I happily returned to Sun Spa! This time to use their brand new infrared sauna! It was perfect! The was ready when I got there-- it takes about 45 mins to fully heat, call ahead! The sauna is inside a your own private room so you have space for large bags (which I always have, sometimes two), and maybe even your pup! The sauna was clean, and super hot. It was a really comfortable space. The front desk offered extra towels which is a must for a 40 minute session. I bought a package-- can't wait to go back for another sweat session! read more

The machine was overheating because of back to back using of previous customers so I git burned and badly treated. I got out after a couple of minutes at the standing machine and told the blond girl at the reception that the machine is like a heater. She said, I know!!! but she didn't care at all. As soon as you pay there's nothing they'd do for you even if their machine was overheated. Paying $67 and not getting a tan, I had to pay $2 for the water I had while I almost fainted! The fact that she didn't even check up on me when I wasn't feeling well is the main reason I'm not going back. Such a shame for the business owner... I wish I could give them ZERO stars!! I went last night (4/3/19) to get a spray tan for an upcoming event I have on Saturday. Went I got there, the manager (Ofir) was there with Hayden. He said that she's great at sprays. When we got into the private room, she sprayed me. I have gotten numerous sprays before my events but this time was different. There were places she didn't spray. She left the room and told me to dry off for a couple minutes. I looked at myself in the mirror and was not pleased. I called her back into the room. I showed her the areas that weren't sprayed and other areas that were too saturated. She kept saying that it will be better in the morning. So, I stupidly believed her, paid a tip and left. This morning I woke up and looked in the mirror. I look horrible!! Attached are a few photos. There are lines all over my body. My hands and feet are discolored. Below my booty is my normal color while my thighs and buttocks are a completely tan color. I recently got off the phone with them. I talked to Angela. She was nice. If anything, that's why they have 1 Star. I told her I had a complaint for the store. I gave her my name and my number. She said that she was going to text Ofir (manager) and have him give me a call back. But to her surprise (and mine) a few minutes later she called me back. She said that he was not going to give me a refund, and the only thing that he would do was come in for a touchup spray tonight, with the same girl. But I can't tonight. I have a family birthday dinner to go to. Not only have they lost my business, but their customer service skills suck. For him to not have the balls enough to contact me and have one of his workers do it is unbelievable. If you were smart or care at all about any event that you are going to, DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

I have put off this review for so long. This place has excellent staff. As a black women without a lot of melanin. I find myself in a tanning salon periodically, when I can't get outside enough. The ladies and 1 gentleman that I've encountered made me feel welcome and didn't mind explaining the difference in all the options available. This review is regarding the red infra sauna experience. I didn't try other services they have, I will say that the tanning beds looked very promising. The place is super clean and there is parking in the back, which is very important on Ventura Blvd. However, my experience wasn't as good as I've had in other places as I usually go once a week. For some reason, this facility doesn't think is necessary to have water next to upstairs sauna which is very far from reception. This is the first place I've encountered that doesn't offer water, the sauna was set at 160 degrees heat. In the middle of the session I had to get out the sauna to look for water in the room, just to find out that there is none. It's was so hot that I felt light headed and didn't go back in, i did have 10 more minutes left but couldn't go back in without water because of this health risk. I felt light headed and after a couple minutes of seating and resting near the sauna, I found some energy to get dressed and walk all the way down to reception. I asked the receptionist for water as I thought she had forgot to place them In the room, but I come to find out she didn't, they just charge for it and they never having water near the sauna no matter what, they don't even offer faucet water. They of course didn't mention before the session that there won't be any water available or even giving me the option the pay for it, which I would if I knew they don't provide any. Oh, and they make sure they lock the water fridge, who will steal your small water bottles when all your expensive lotions are outside?? Make sure you bring your own towel because you only get one hand towel. For the owner- it's dangerous. You open yourself to an easy lawsuit and put people's life's at risk. read more

I really love this location! I come here for the Infrared Saunas only, so that's what this review is about. Sun Spa has two private rooms for their saunas upstairs, so it's very private and availability is pretty open which is nice. Sessions are 45-50 min each and are VERY fairly priced, especially when buying sessions in bulk. This is the reason I decided to come here for the service! They provide clean towels in the room but you must bring your own water or any essential oils you may want to use-- so that's worth noting, as most spas will provide that in my experience. The room is always ready to go upon arrival and the whole location is very clean! Which is super important and also a major point worth noting in my opinion! The front desk ladies are always so sweet to me and welcoming and let me know how many sessions I have left and deals they have running. Super grateful to have found this place! P.s. There were a couple of times where the sauna was malfunctioning (it happens!) and I let the front desk ladies know, as it just wasn't getting hot enough for beneficial use, and they told me they would let the owner know asap. A couple hours later I received a call from Sun Spa saying they spoke with the owner and maintenance was scheduled and that they added 3 sessions onto my account for the inconvenience. I just went into the versa spa and it was amazing. I did the bronzer 3 with the pre treatment and post moisturizer. It was a beautiful color, super quick, and super easy. I love how I left not sticky at all. I was able to continue on with my day do my errands go home wash off the solution and be left with a beautiful bronze color. I have been a member for several months. Love the measures they take to keep the place clean. I can generally find parking in the back which is nice since it's a busy street. It does get a little chaotic with the restaurant next door at certain times of the day where people will block the drive way but aside from that the staff is always friendly and they are the best in the area. read more

I went here for the first time after my friend told me to check it out because she was super happy about her spray tan. So i just went for it and bought a package of 3 spray tans, which came with a free tanning lotion (i think it was a special for this month) I went in and the place was so clean and beautiful. Bre was the receptionist that day (also my spray tan guru) and she was so welcoming and sweet. Which is a huge plus since i was about to get naked for her a minute later for my spray tan. She made me so comfortable as she was professional through the whole process and walked me through the whole experience and let me know what to look forward to in the next couple of washes and educated me on how to extend my color. Overpriced and poor communication with their customers regarding pricing and policies. I would not suggest to a friend due to these difficulties. Pros: They have a parking lot. Their staff is friendly. The tanning beds are new and clean and there is never really a wait time. Cons: Hidden fees. They do not provide eyewear (you must purchase). Tax is added to everything and pricing is not as advertised ( please pay attention to this). Poor communication on memberships policies. Their employees do not understand their policies and advise that you reach out to management. You can find other tanning studios with lower monthly memberships, ones that provide eyewear and prices as advertised (Incuding tax) without hidden fees. I tried to get my issue resolved, to my dismay, they never fully read my emails. Their response provided was always the same robot information. It never resolved or answered any of my concerns. *** Response to the Owners unacceptable comment to my review. **** Dear customers, This information is not at all false. Please take the time to review your purchases and know their policies. As for my concerns be addressed Ofir. No, you did not. You repeated yourself twice!! I sent two full detailed emails regarding my concern. You never addressed what I said and just stated your policies and fees. I NEVER wanted you to refund the monthly charge. I wanted to CONTINUE with the 6-month membership but was confused about the fee and date of my July purchase. You refunded me the incorrect purchase which is why I gave up on all communications. None of this was advised at my time of purchase. You would have read this information on my emails. Also, you shouldn't send emails from your iPhone. It doesn't look professional. Again, you have a good location and friendly staff. Educate them on your policies and yes, maybe add the tax to your advertised sales. It helps the customers understanding of how much it's really costing them. I just can't recommend. Especially after this hostile response. read more
