Every time I go into tan, the manager tries to sell products. This is after I have already bought lotins, primer and other products. I would like a peaceful tanning session without the hassle and aggravation. Another time when I went into tan, the manager stood and had a 5 minute conversation with a lady and I overheard them talking about a customer's appearance and things that went on in high school.... very inappropriate conversation. Today I went into to cancel my membership a d the same "manager" was rude again! This could be such a great place, so sad that one person's attitude ruins the entire experience. read more

I got the $5 spray tan and then asked the day worker if I could bring my 13 yr old for one as well she said there's no age limit so when I got off work I then took my 13 yr old up there for it and there was a different lady working she informed me must be 18 that she couldn't but then says we'll if you'll pay 24.99 a month I'll let her spray tan that's bull crap here you say it's not allowed but then try to up sale me. Then she was rude and stated we will see you when your 18 I stayed no you won't cause I'm finding elsewhere. That night shift lady is a straight crook and only trying to benefit her paycheck instead of the customers. What business. Smh you lost 2 customers! read more

I had a very pleasant first experience at this location. I received a free voucher for a spray tan while at work and my coworkers and I decided to try this salon out. None of us had spray tanned before and had reservations, however the ladies working were very friendly and informative and helped us make the right choices in color. I checked in online because I had limited time. I paid with a credit card to double dip and a I have been paying a membership for years now. I waited 30 minutes while the attendant called two different people at STC to unlock whatever the problem was with the online check-in. In the meantime she checked in other people! I asked to get a refund and just start over but she still hung on the phone. My time is precious. I have always been amazed at how long the process is just to get to tan. I go to a versa spa spray tan booth where in live in Jackson, Wyoming @ Shea's salon. The tanning spray suntan city uses is NOT the same solution used where I go. I know emphatically that Shea's salon uses Versa Spa solution. Suntan city is using a knockoff brand at this location in their booth.. there was no barrier cream either. They told me to use a handy wipe that was in the room instead to remove access solution from hands and feet.. $38 for a very bad experience!! read more

I've been a member at this salon since the doors opened, and it has slowly continued to go downhill. The spray booths don't work right half the time, the spray is very inconsistent, and they are ALWAYS breaking down. To make matters worse, the staff gets overwhelmed when it's busy (like free tan week), and they continue to check people in instead of cleaning the booths/beds, so the wait times are unnecessarily long. I checked in today, only to arrive and find that a lady was ahead of me. I asked if I was ahead since I'd checked in prior to arrival, so she checked and that lady had been waiting almost 30 MINUTES while they continued to check people in and try to sell packages to new customers, which takes forever. I love sun tan city! The staff are always so helpful and friendly. The beds and rooms are always so clean! Also if you don't like to use the beds, the spray tans are amazing!!! Sun tan city is my favorite place to tan! I used to hate tanning but this salon changed my view on that. The staff is so nice and understanding! I love that customer service is available whenever you need it. My results from laying in the fastest bed are very visible just after one week. The employees are very educated and you can tell they really enjoy their job! The specials they always run are great to. Highly recommend this salon for anyone in the TrI cities area! read more
