We had a conversation about what tanning spray I was going to use and what color tone I wanted . She is very knowledgeable, and she help me pick the right tone and spray for my session. Prior to my appointment she sent me directions on how to prepare my skin for a better glow, and what I should wear to my appointment. She was very helpful. She has a designated area for her business. The room is set up specifically for tanning . The room is very organized and clean. The room was very cute too. It had a lot of cute decor. I have been to tanning places in the past where I have gotten inside this machine for a mystic tan but , it's not a person spraying you so my tan came out super uneven . At Janet's she manually spraying you and there's no missing any spot in your body that you want tanned! My tan lasted me three weeks then it started fading away. I loved it.! After that, I would go to Janet's at least once a year if I go on a vacation or on a beach or even to Vegas I want to look good when I'm by the pool I don't want to wait to get a tan. I want to be there looking like I-have a tan! Overall, Janet is very knowledgeable and her tans are fantastic! I really recommend going with her if you want a great tan ! I thought that if I got some color beforehand, I could be full #TeamSunscreen during the entire trip. I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!

She is so friendly and makes you feel like you are in a room with one of your friends, rather than a stranger you just met and stripped down in front of. I was very comfortable and she explained the process before we started and again as we went. I actually went to her building, which was easy to find, has easy parking that only costed me about $2.20 for 2 hours (I definitely did not need that much time but I'm an over preparer when it comes to downtown parking). I did the quick tan option. I am so happy I checked this place out because my tan is looking great!!

Air-tan is perfect because you get to consult with an actual human expert who helps you decide how to best get exactly the look you're going for. I have gone twice now, both in the winter months ahead of fancy special events. I get the regular solution at level 2 (they could also do a 1.5 if you're nervous) and it is perfect. Just enough to give me a healthy glow. The price is also great, especially with the $10 off coupon for your first time when you check-in on yelp and a great refer-a-friend program. I'm glad to be able to incorporate air-tan into my self-care treat routine, just like you might consider a manicure, nice haircut, or wax. It's the perfect confidence boost I need in the winter months, and far cheaper than a vacation! I do miss the downtown location and hope they find a great new spot downtown soon!
