I needed a couple of x-rays and was told by my physician that this place accepts walk-ins. I checked their website an it said they don't take walk-ins and appointments are needed. Their website also said they are still following strict Covid protocols. I called half a dozen times over two days before I was finally able to talk to someone and schedule an appointment. I was told that walk-ins were accepted but it could be an hour wait or longer. The only options they gave me for an appointment were 6:45am and 4:30pm which was basically right after they opened and right before they closed. I show up for the appointment and they didn't have any required Covid protocols. I didn't have to pay a co pay but they also didn't tell me how much the x-rays were going to cost because "it depends on your insurance". They wouldn't even give me an estimated figure. When I checked their website before scheduling my appointment they didn't have any prices listed which is why I asked about the costs (but then they were displayed on the website several weeks later). The wait was about 15 minutes, the x-rays took about 15 minutes, and then I was out. The technician said the results would be sent to my physician in 1 to 2 days. I just needed the images on a CD but they couldn't provide it because apparently they needed to get a new CD burner. I tried calling again the following week but nobody would answer the phone. I left several messages but didn't receive a reply to any of them. I went down to the office and was told that I could access the report in the online portal but I needed the images from the x-ray which weren't on the portal. The CD burner still wasn't ready and they told me to come back in a few days to a week. I eventually got my CD and asked what the status was with my bill but I was told I would get something in the mail. Nearly a month after my x-rays I got the bill in the mail and the costs were a couple hundred dollars but my insurance covered most of it. I tried to pay online but their online payment portal is being fixed and they have no estimate on when it will be ready. The only other options are to mail in a check or use some third-party app. My recommendation is to go to the office, if you're able, and talk to someone in person to get the information you need. You'll be wasting your time trying to call and expecting someone to get back to you. A lot of their website information is out of date and I could have saved a lot of time if someone would update the important information like scheduling, billing & payments, and Covid procedures. read more

Since being acquired by MMC I haven't been able to get test results released to my doctor.

I called in to get an appointment for one X-ray and two ultrasounds. The ladies in the front were great, got in no problem and completed tests quickly. Not a bad experience. I called my doctor and let her know as it said STAT on my orders, so should be fairly fast. I set up my appointment for one week later (plenty of time to get results) and had to reschedule because my doctor never got them...it's now been 10 days and counting. My doctor keeps calling, not sure what is going on, but people's lives are at stake... what good is great service if you can't get the results? I paid a lot of money for those tests too...up front was required. read more

I called to get an appointment for an X-Ray, and with my conditions I need to deal with they were able to get me in right away, and there was minimal waiting time. It usually pays to be nice and capable of expressing the fact that you have limitations, that you have to deal with on your own. read more

They were acquired by Memorial Medical (aka Tenant Health). Don't hold your breath that imaging done in last quarter of 2025 will ever get completed. In fact, you might want to make sure your insurance company did pay for a job they didn't complete. read more

I waited one month for the results of my CT scan. This is unacceptable!!! I will never be sent there again for any imaging. A disgrace to the community. read more

Horrible experience. Had a mammogram and 3D imaging and was told I'd get the results in a week. Two weeks later and still waiting. Finally resorted in telling them I would picket the office if they didn't send them. Still waiting, but I'm going there tomorrow with a sign if I don't hear from them by the end of today. I had 2 MRI appointments. The appointment was great-but now I can't get the MRI reports sent to my doctor. It has been over 3 months. When I call it just rings and rings. Medical records it hangs up on you. The nurse at my doctor's office can't get through to them either and she has been trying for a week. read more

On 2/6/2024 I went to Sun View Imaging for a PET Scan. I was required, before service was rendered, to pay $2260.00. After the claim was submitted to my Medicare Insurance company, United Health Care, The claim came back paid with my co-pay being $1415.63. I contacted Sun View for a refund and was told it would take 3 - 5 weeks to receive a check. I contacted them on 3/11, 4/1, 4/29, and 5/20. Each time I spoke to a different person and each time I was told the check was being processed and it will take 3 - 5 weeks. To date I have received no check or correspondence from them. read more

My first visit went fine for a CT scan. My doctor then ordered an MRI. I made the appointment, but the day before the appointment they sent me an e-mail saying they needed me to reschedule. I called & Sun Imaging said I didn't have prior authorization & had me set up another appointment a several weeks later. I called my doctor to let him know, & his office said I had authorization, that it came in the day before. Called Sun Imaging back to get my original appointment, but was told they didn't have authorization, that they needed to get it from my doctor, & would call me right back as soon as they got the authorization. Needless to say, they never called my doctor, or me, my appointment was the next morning, & now I have to wait almost another month. read more

After getting bogus and inaccurate reports of several different scans i am now taking my next Ulrasound to a different Imaging provider.

I have used Sun View Imaging Services on Telshor Boulevard on a number of occasions and have always found them to be friendly, helpful and professional. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment. Whenever I have requested medical records, I have always received them in a very timely manner. read more

I would say not to rely on what they put out on their results from your tests. Either i have been involved in miracles involved in healing my body or some of the official results are just BS.. One report says i have liver hemangiomas and enlarged liver then a few years later the next report says the liver is normal and no hemangiomas. One report says i have a 8mm nodule in my nasal cavity septum then a later reports says everything is normal.. Miracles or BS? read more

We stopped by the Lohman location on a Friday only to find out they are closed from 1-2 pm. When we returned the receptionist told us they couldn't do my wife's chest X-ray because they didn't have a technician on duty. If they don't have a technician on duty why are they in business? The receptionist referred us to the South Telshor location but by this time we simply decided to bag it. read more
