    I recently came here to get my first spray tan ever. I was a little nervous but the lady at the…read moredesk helped me through it. First, I will note, I came during the day on a Thursday, and there was only one lady working at the place. It got a little busy and I did have to wait for about 10 minutes. I did the versa booth, (which I believe they only have one of because someone was in there when I arrived, so I did have to wait a little more for that). I told the receptionist I wanted the lightest shade for my very fair skin and she came back with me to show me exactly what I had to do. I was a little nervous because I didn't want to come out looking orange or patchy. The movements that you have to do in the booth itself are a little confusing and the whole spraying process is very quick. There is lotion and cloth shower caps in the room for you to use, as well as a towel that they give you. As for the tan itself, I wasn't that impressed. Maybe I should have gone darker i don't know. Not sure if I'd get the versa again.

I purchased a Groupon And it says " Expires Apr 9, 2019 Eastern Standard Time Must provide 15+ ID to receive services. If 15 - 17 years, must be accompanied by parent and parent must sign waiver. Appointment required. Limit 1 per person. Limit 1 per visit. Valid only for option purchased. Not valid for clients active within the past 6 month(s). All goods or services must be used by the same person." No where does it say you can not use this after having a membership or if you've used a Groupon in the past. I was 8-9 months past so I was able to use the Groupon in my eyes because I was passed the 6 months from being a "client" . I go to use the Groupon and the young lady tells me that they have updated their system and that it will not allow her to accept the Groupon due to I have used one in the past and I've been a member. I asked "then why does it say on the Groupon -. Not valid for clients active within the past 6 month(s) and i am clearly passed the 6 month mark" She says "Idk but our new system won't allow it but I can credit you the amount to a packaged" I said "Fine if that is the case then I will do that then I guess. I asked her - there's no way we can use this voucher I only need it for the 6 days ? It said no where about being a member before , it makes no sense .. I don't get why you guys would put the ". Not valid for clients active within the past 6 month(s)." It makes no sense to me. " She follows by saying "Idk they have changed a lot of things and the system won't allow it... but if I were you "I know I'm not allowed to say this or advertise another company but " I would just go to Beach bum if your only doing this for your vacation. They have where you can buy 5 for one price and they are inexpensive.. she goes by saying she used to work there. I told her " you guys are literally down the block from Me and id much rather go here.. so Can we just do the membership And I'll come in for my 6 days of tanning and cancel the membership before I go on my trip. She then starts putting my card down for on my profile And says "idk why it has level 2 listed twice, let me call my manger And fix it." Then before she calls she says " oh it's the enrollment fee your gonna have to pay the enrollment fee sorry." So makes no sense . I pay $31 and some change for the Groupon. Then I'm told I can't use it but it can be used for credit forwards a membership??? Makes no sense. Then I was will to pay remaining amount money for level 2 after she applied the credit .. but then I was gonna have to pay the enrollment fee too? I said forget it... I'm so over this.. this is such a ordeal.. I'm whyyyy over this. I then get home.. and see that my bank account was charged twice for two separate transactions of $1.00 of a total of $2.00.. which by the way she didn't tell me that would happen. So then I had to drive back to the shop and inquire about it and she's on FaceTime with her manager and the manager says "oh it'll be our back into your account By far the worst experience ever. Not to mention the amount of time wasted! Who recommends you to go to another tan shop, when your already in one? Worst experience ever.

    What can I say about this group that hasn't already been written. I'll share a thumbnail of events…read morethat brings all the elements into plain view and you can decide if getting a tan is worth the aggravation. I signed up about 4 months ago. My membership was @ $55.00/ Month. Because of a medical circumstance the sunless treatments were to provide some peace of mind. From.the beginning I was overcharged on my card on account. Instead of one charge there were several and then credits......we later learned that this is often a technique incorporated with fraud in mind to camouflage unauthorized transactions. I was informed by Visa that they are currently investigating numerous fraud complaints involving unauthorized charges from this business .....at all.locations. So many that Visa may stop accepting paymenta from this business permanently! After several attempts to reach the owners Gary and Rob I recieved a call from Cindy who alleged herself to be in charge of customer service. After arguing about the charges for 40 mins on our first call she asked for copies of my bank statements. 14 pages later and emails I felt I would finally be whole on my whopping $53.55 overcharge.......3 weeks ago Cindy emailed that I was refunded the day before......ANOTHER LIE. After I had to.listen to Cindy berate me about how hard she worked to help me and how great she was at her job......I'm still left unresolved. Rather than give up like many before me. I decided to treat this as a theft. After contacting the Financial Integrity Unit within the Morris County states attorney......we are now processing a criminal complaint of simple theft against the owners of Sizzle Tan. I encourage each of you that have been defrauded by this group to step up and file a complaint. It's unlikely I'll ever see my refund but I'm certain that was never in the cards. Either way it's my sincerest hope that my buyer beware story resonates for all of you and it saves you from the risk of being defrauded also. By the way......they turned off my membership early when they read this post! Almost Tanned and definitely banned.....

    If I could give this place a lower rating than one star, I would. Google has this location still…read morelisted as Sizzle Tan/Blowout Bar. I called the phone number for Morris Plains and asked for a blowout. The receptionist said to come on by within 15 minutes to Morris Plains. When I arrived, the receptionist had me sit in the waiting room while she spoke to a manager. She walked over and said, "I'm like sorry, but we have the blowout bar at the East Hanover location. We are under construction so I booked the appointment but we can't do it here. Don't worry, East Hanover is like, 10 minutes away." I am little concerned that the receptionist is not aware of the services available at her job. Shame on Sizzle Tans for poor customer service, not offering to fix or help out when making an error, and for hiring very confused individuals to represent their company.
