Also called LEE CENTER FOR FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY I bought my sister a $99 laser hair removal deal from Living Social and then she found out she was pregnant. She called the center to see if she can extend the expiration date since her gynecologist strongly advised against the laser hair removal treatment during pregnancy (for obvious reasons) but the staff refused to accomodate her despite the circumstances. We couldn't even gift it to someone else because it's an hour drive from NYC and no one other than my sister lived in the area. Both Living Social and Lee Center for Facial Plastic Surgery refused to refund the purchase or extend the expiration date for the deal and I ended up wasting my money. If a medical office cannot accomodate their patients, especially for reasons surrounding a pregnancy, I can only imagine the subpar quality of service they would offer. I purchased a Livingsocial deal ($99 for 6 underarm sessions) for laser hair removal. It was definitely comforting to find a real doctor (MD) to perform laser hair removal instead of some "certified technician" especially since it was my first time. Dr. Lee was really great in walking me through the process, answering every question I had along the way. He was also very accessible. My skin had a weird reaction after one of the sessions and I was scared of scarring. I emailed him and he quickly answered back and even called me to follow up. Amazing bedside manner!! I loved the results so much that I decided to purchase an additional 6 sessions for lower leg laser hair removal AT FULL PRICE (buy 5 sessions, get the 6th free)! This is the type of successful example when a business/company decides to use a deal site for marketing- provide a discount to new customers + have a great product and customer service = repeat customers. Kaitlin and Carolina are the nicest, sweetest employees you will ever meet. In addition, they are both so competent and efficient. From scheduling a facial to getting it done, just a wonderful experience. Carolina is so competent, professional and thorough with the facial. I purchased a Living Social deal for a cosmetic procedure that I have thinking about for a long time. I didn't want to spend alot of not knowing if I would like it so in this economy I purchased the on-line deal. The deal was great but with these Internet coupons-there is always a catch. The office staff was great! They were knowledgeable and welcoming and answered all my questions to the best of their ability. I went into one of the exam rooms where a video of Botox was playing-so I waiting and watched which was very informative. The doctor at first seemed nice and genuine and explained the procedure to me and started to put some numbing cream on my forehead. While waiting for the numbing to take effect, he started to point out about my eyes and my nose-something that I didn't ask about. I told him this was the first time I considered having any type of cosmetic procedure done so I would like to think about his suggestions slowly. He then started to talk about my nose-I never considered a nose job for many reasons: I didn't want any necessary surgery, the exposure to general anesthesia, personal and financial reasons. What bothered me is that keep kept pointing out my nose! I've tried to tell him that I wasn't interested without being rude and disrespectful. I also told him that because of my family and ethnic background and features that I did not want to alter my face and look like someone I am not. He apparently didn't like what I said and the his whole nice and genuine demeanor became negative. I feel that I was put in in an odd position and that the doctor seem desperate to get me to pay for other procedures that I am not personally and financially ready for. read more

My friend and I bought a deal on groupon for laser hair removal treatments. The deal was great but as they say cheap is never cheap, it will always cost you in the end. The first visit was ok. The doctor speaks very fast, asian accent. Right away asked me what else I wanted done. He pointed out that I looked tired and should get fillers under my eyes. I hadn't slept well all week because I was getting over a cold! I said I will wait on that for now. He didn't seem to like my answer. The second time, I went with a friend. Again, speaking fast with his difficult to understand accent, he began to ask us what else we wanted done. He recommended to my friend that she get fillers under her eyes as well! She explained that she was laid off of work and couldn't afford these things for now. He ignored her and asked if there was another area she wanted laser hair removal- she said yes, her bikini area. He suggested she have it done the same day as the other area instead of prolonging the visits/treatments. She asked "can I really do that? Don't I have to wait until the 4th treatment to treat another area if the hair is gone as it says in the groupon deal?" He said yeh, we can do today, no problem, come on. He asked me the same and replied the same answer. As soon as he was done, he said ok we're done, go see the receptionist and she'll take care of you. Once we got there, he immediately shut his door and to our surprise we were being charged $100 each! For what? For treating an extra area. We were totally hustled by Dr. Lee! His staff was afraid to confront him and his office manager admitted to having this issue with him before, where he does not know how to express himself clearly. So is that our fault then??? Now, we had to pay for his error. He was a coward hiding in his office and didn't have the professional courtesy to handle the matter himself or fess up to his error. Instead he ignored us and took another patient and slammed the door behind him. I ended up paying and my friend was excused as long as she switched the area she was treating. To top it off- the next morning I woke up and my husband noticed I had a burn on the side of my mouth! It was bothersome and hurt. I had to cover w/concealer and after a few weeks am still covering hoping this will not leave a scar. I called the office and emailed them photos - Dr. Lee claimed what I had was a cold sore! A cold sore? I would know if it were a cold sore and it was no cold sore. It is a burn mark from his negligence. I am contacting groupon to see if I can be refunded so that I may go elsewhere to complete my treatments. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a poooooor experience and be treated as if you are less superior because at this location, the doctor is always right and the customer's satisfaction comes last! read more

We don't like rude doctors, right? This doctor was both inappropriate and unprofessional. I came for a complaint about my ear, and insisted on performing an endoscopy on my nose which was submitted to my insurance as a 1500 dollar charge... a procedure for which he had no indication, and ended up having aching pain in my nose for the following 6 weeks. This physician spoke down to me without any hint of genuine concern, and furthermore was downright rude and aggressive. The visit to this doctor's office was a horrible experience. I would not recommend anyone to visit his office, and certainly would not recommend anyone to trust him as their surgeon judging both by his character and his lack of dexterity with his endoscope. read more

Horrible! The experience itself was not bad. Nice, clean office, however, a day after the facial I have large pimple/welts in every place the lady (who was not very friendly) did extractions. Where there was no blemish, there now is. I've had many facials and never had an outcome like this. I have broken capillaries on my cheeks, that again, were not there originally. I do not usually go out of my way to post reviews unless the experience was exceptional or, in this case, exceptionally bad. Very disappointing. Don't waste your money. read more

Dr. Lee is the best cosmetic doctor around! He is honest about what would be best for you even if it involves him losing money. I wanted a eyebrow lift but he was honest and told me I could correct what I wanted fixed with botox and fillers. I've also been to their esthetician Kim and she helped me improve the texture and apperance of my skin! The Dr. and Kim are very knowledgable in their fields and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this office. read more
