The salon (both locations) itself gets five stars for being an immaculate clean salon with a range of equipment to cater to everyone. This is the best Staten Island tanning salon I've been to. My tan looks natural, beach worthy. The only hiccup I have to mention is the parking at this location, Page Avenue. I give the parking situation two stars. So the salon gets a fair score of four stars. Since I am stripping down to my bare skin, using well-maintained and clean equipment is most important to me. The owner, Bobby, does an excellent job! There's a variety of different beds, from horizontal sunbeds to my favorite standup beds, and they are high speed tanning booths. I'm a nurse, and time is precious to me with my schedule. Spray tanning is also available, but I've never tried. When I go here, I do feel pampered. The front desk staff are always courteous and professional. I never see them on their cellphones, and they seem very happy to be there. There's a range of lotions sold here, daily and monthly specials. Half price tanning during the week before 12PM and on Sunday's. I find the prices to be worth it. The times I've gone in the late afternoon and evening- there is no parking whatsoever. I really hope something can be fixed about this. I literally don't use the salon as much as I'd like to, because there never seems to be a parking space when I go. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices, especially for those who are going for that base tan before a trip or even maintain that perfect look after a vacation. Many plans to choose from. My favorite bed would be the kiwi. All the bed lights worked, good heat without the sun burning, unlike some other places I have gone before. They have many lotions on hand to help increase that perfect tan. The beds are cleaned very well by staff after patrons use. A+ in my book. Would continue going here. read more

The salon staff is rude and unprofessional. I had a horrible experience here- and URGE you not to waste your time or hard earned money on this place. The tanning bed looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, i wanted to pass out from the smell. I wasn't happy with the tan either, so it was overall a complete and utter waste. First off, this place is phenomenal and deserves ten stars! There are so many plusses about this place. For example, Giana, one of the customer service professionals there, always goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist you with all of your questions. In fact, she always greets you with a smile and that honestly makes me feel as though I am home. That's because she and the other staff members make you feel as though the salon is an extension of your family. Now, I have been to quite a few places both on the island and in Brooklyn (originally a Bay Ridge, Brooklyn native), in those places, I felt as though I was a stranger. That's because you pay for your package and then you're on your own. They don't inform you about the necessary tanning lotions or moisturizers. In addition, "Sunbelievable" has a variety of tanning beds and the place is extremely clean, and there is ample parking in the plaza.
