I had the counters in my kitchen and guest bath replaced with quartz countertops. The first time they arrived to remove and install the new tops they took out the counters and went they brought the new ones in the edges were the wrong cut. They had a straight edge and small bevel was listed on the quote. So, they had to leave and we had no countertops until they were recut. Not a great start but if the installed counters were perfect, I would not have cared. When they installed the counters the bath and half of the kitchen did not need any seams and they look perfect. The problem is they "had" to put in 2 seams to the largest run of counter. Advised this was due to the size of the elevator in the building. Never offered to hire a lift either. What we ended up with is 2 seams that are clearly visible on the most used sections of the counter that I see all the time. The seams are not perfectly level and the sealant they used is slightly darker that the very light color of the counters.

When I had questions she answered them quickly. I wanted one large piece with no seams and that's what they did. It was an easy and efficient experience with the installers as well. They did make some wall scuffs, but those are easily fixed and most likely because I requested one large slab, but I would do it again.

Lumber 84 came out to re-seal out door they installed after it started leaking after rain. They…read moresent out a crew that put down a tiny amount a caulk and left. This did not fix the water intrusion. Lumber 84 sends another person out and adds some weather stripping, this doesn't fix the problem. Fast forward further down the road, about 2 years. The door is not fixed and now we have a leaking window that needs warranty work. Vinny at Lumber 84 sends a couple sub-contracted repair guys out who have no clue what they need to do. So they say they will caulk it to fix the problem. I didn't accept that solution, so then they start to blame the other trades instead of taking accountability. Bottom line here is that nothing has been fixed STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR PROBLEMS!

Lumber Liquidators is phase 2 (Phase 3: ???) (Phase 4: Profit) So, I drove out to Sanford with a slat of the remaining laminate to see if L.L. might have a match. Something I could use to replace the damaged section. Upon inspection they told me that my product was close to 10 years old--so no... No they didn't. However, they did have several newer models that were similar in color and design and gave me the lowdown on what I could do instead. After walking me through a few options I chose what was in my best interest...250 square feet of the lovely Auburn Walnut laminate. One week later it was in. When I went back out to pick it up, once again I was met with a staff that was on point. All very knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent guest service through and through. Paid my bill, drove around back to their loading dock and got all the new gear, no sweat. Flood damage might be the worst thing that can happen to ones home (with the exception of fire or annihilation by Death Star) so I'd only wish that kinda devastation on the most heinous of my enemies. Eli spent lots of time with me reviewing each line item explaining what the charge was for. It's very obvious that he is extremely knowledgeable about flooring and the installation process. He also was able to accommodate our quick timing so we could move into our new home before Christmas. Stellar job!

The salesman seemed apologetic and just simply explained that the price has gone up. Then I noticed something had changed with their cutting fees. Typically it's seven dollars for the first cut and a dollar for each additional cut. Now they want seven dollars for each first cut of different size material. Bad enough that I'm literally paying double now but you're going to gouge the customer with some BS cutting fee like that? looks like I'm going to be shopping around for a different steel supplier.

American Marble was contracted through our builder. At closing we had one portion of our kitchen…read morecounter top that was cut incorrectly but thankfully not attached and was promptly fixed the next day. However my children's bathroom counter was installed without meeting the wall and was filled with caulk to hide the poor install. We contact the home warranty team from our builder and the owner refused to replace even though his employee came out to measure and said the new counter would be installed in 7-10 day. The only "fix" they would entertain was to shove a tiny piece of quartz into the space and make it appear to be a solid countertop. During the warranty correction, I was able to review the portion of the countertop that is hidden under the side trim. While it connected in the back corner of the wall, it was cut at an angle by over a 1/2". This issue, while small, is also with my kitchen countertop. When the owner came to inspect I was told "It is only 1/8th of an inch and I don't see the big deal". The big deal is that we paid for properly cut and installed countertops. American marble assumes no responsibility for their products and does not stand behind their work. They will only shove a piece of quarts into the space to give an illusion of proper installation. I would not recommend American Marble to anyone and am very disheartened that the owner came to my house and treated me as an inconvenience and my concerns as a "no big deal".
