    Clear epoxy coat..

    I took Steve's epoxy class in October 2025. I'm a complete newbie, never did anything like this. He was incredibly thorough, funny, and kept the class flowing easily. Started with explaining the process, showing all the items needed. Made sure we understood the measurement process and the necessary timing to successfully create our work of art. I'm shocked!!! I truly made the most incredible beach and wave scene!! I'll be using the lessons learned to complete more items just like this. Thank you so much Steve!! Can't recommend the class enough!!

    Got Wood? If not, then this is your place assuming you don't just need something from Lowe's, Home Depot, or Busy Beaver (look it up). They have some unique slaps if you're looking for a show piece to finish a project, or even some exotic woods like walnut, which is way more expensive than I thought it would be. Bring your own tape measure if you can as checking the width's of some of the boards can be a challenge if you're lifting and trying to measure with their guides where the boards are. You have to take the boards out and put on the floor to get an accurate measurement. They also have plenty of woodworking tools that brings out the Bob Villa in all of us (wait, that sounds gross). If you're doing a wood working project and just can't find what you need elsewhere, give Rockler a try.

    I had a store experience so bad I will never use this Ace Hardware again. This took place at…read moreToole's Ace Hardware in Maitland (1607 S. Orlando Ave.). Yesterday (8/13) at around 4:15PM I bought a transformer from the store. Cost me $34. Unfortunately, it did not fit in the space I have. I took the item back today at around 12:00PM (8/14) with my receipt. I was told I could NOT get a refund for my item, even though I had my receipt. She didn't even open the box to check the item (I had repacked it the way it was sold to me). She asked her supervisor, and the supervisor also said no refund. The cashier told me there were no refunds on electrical items. I was not warned about this by the cashier when I bought the item. I was flabbergasted. I like to support local businesses, but that support only led this local business to spit back into my face. I will never use this Ace Hardware again. We will now make sure to go to the big box stores to guarantee we get a refund if something doesn't work, especially within the first 24 hours. I actually left the transformer with the cashier because I can't use it, and maybe someone else looking for one will be able to. I hope keeping my $34 was worth it to never have my business again.

I bought a Whirlpool dryer from this Lowe's 6 months ago and it's blowing cold air...again. There's no recourse of action. I would not recommend them. On 8/4/25: I purchased a Whirlpool dryer with a 1 year warranty from Lowes in Altamonte Springs. November 2025: Dryer stopped blowing hot air. Lowe's denied responsibility and directed me to Whirlpool warranty, who directed me to Flamingo Appliance Repair. 12/2/25 Flamingo Appliance Repair fixed the problem by replacing a heat sensor. 2/2/2026: Dryer stopped blowing hot air again. The soonest Flamingo could come out was 2/10. 2/10/2026 an automated text announced the tech couldn't make it and provided a link to reschedule my appointment. The soonest availability was 2/18. 2/18/2026 At 8:51am an automated text announced the tech couldn't make it and provided a link to reschedule my appointment. The soonest availability was 2/25/25. I phoned Lowe's, who claimed no responsibility once the appliance is sold. Lowe's directed me to Whirlpool. Whirlpool denied responsibility and directed me to Flamingo Appliance Repair.     Great experience with Lowe's walked in qith a goal in mind to paint my guest bedroom. I already had…read moremy selected color and trim in mind. Set over to the paint area where they prepared my paint under 10 minutes. I got to walk around a bit to see new things and plan a head for other projects. Ignore designated line only helping customers coming thru exit or sides. Reported dangerous employee driver drop off cut thru the full parking lot at excessive speed pull to the front door blocking customers and almost hitting one. Took 2 min to have employee exit backseat as he took his time closing the door taking to driver. Driver peels out almost hitting customers again and speeds off. There's no reason for an employee to be dropped one step outside the main store entrance in this manner when the parking lot is right there. Manager said nothing after this was reporter. After 30 seconds of silence shrugged and said uhhh sorry about that. Subordinate employees called him Chris his name was posted different on apron. Plump short fellow mid to late 20s (manager). I came back to ask a question and was not helped due to their lack of professionalism at their job. Was not given help or guidance on locating the item I came for or options since they did not have any items that were listed in store online but actually did not exist in store. This information was delivered calmly and politely yet the entire staff did not take a single step to be helpful in anyway. Do better - it's a job - you go there to work. As far as the lack of care for the safety of customers and people or addressing this in anyway other than an uhhhh sorry .... Unacceptable. Pull CCT footage 6/28/26 approx 4:40- 5:00 pm give or take. Main entrance. Employee in red shirt dropped off one step from front door zero regard for human safety or anything beyond selfish grotesque behavior. Appalling behavior Home Depot.
