While their selection isn't as extensive as the big-box home improvement stores, they more than make up for it with outstanding customer service and convenience. Over the years, we've purchased paint (they do an excellent job matching colors--just bring in a sample), propane refills, flowers, garden supplies, hardware, and even our Weber gas grill, which they assembled and delivered. It's rare that I can't find what I need, and when I do need assistance, someone is always nearby to help. They also have several convenient locations in the area, with ample parking at each. If you value knowledgeable employees and personal service over wandering the aisles of a warehouse-sized store, Koopman's is an excellent choice.

Nile and his team came out and measured and made templates of our counter tops. They were soooo friendly, pleasant and professional! We went to the shop and they laid out the templates on the granite in different ways so that we got what we liked for natural design and they showed us how the back splash is cut so that the grain and colors match with the counter. The granite fit perfect when it arrived and they sent an amazing team to install it!! They take pride in their work and made sure everything was absolutely perfect! Amazing family owned company!!!!! They also seem to have just about whatever you're looking for to finish that home project that you may be working on at the time. Copper cleaner, paint, grout filler, stain, brushes, spray paint, wood, nails, bird seed, cleaners, and so on. Chances are, they'll have it. Convenient location and great off-street parking. A few times that I happened to stop in they also had homemade desserts made by the owner at the front desk! So stop by in the afternoon if you're feeling a need for a sugar-hit while you're picking up paint, nails, or whatever at their store. I can't guarantee they'll have a treat, but then again, they just may. It's pretty clear why they've been in business so long.
