The building was surrounded by scaffolding, balconies were completely barricaded and unusable, and the pool/common areas were impacted by ongoing work. The overall environment felt unsafe, loud, and nothing like a vacation property. Here's the issue: none of this was clearly disclosed in the listing before booking. We received generic follow-up emails after we had already paid that mentioned possible noise and limited access--but they did not come close to describing the severity of the construction or how disruptive it actually was. There's a big difference between "minor inconvenience" and a full-scale renovation happening around you. The unit itself was also not clean to a reasonable standard. Surfaces and furniture appeared to be painted over rather than properly cleaned, with visible stains and signs of poor upkeep throughout. I contacted the company immediately upon arrival asking to relocate and was essentially told "too bad" because of a policy cutoff time--even though we had just walked into a property that did not match what was advertised. After traveling all day with young kids, finding a new place late at night wasn't realistic, so we stayed one night and left first thing in the morning, losing the rest of our reservation. FunQuest Vacation Rentals' response since has been to point to fine print and post-booking emails, rather than taking any responsibility for how misleading this experience was. If you're considering booking with them, be very careful. Ask detailed questions before you book and don't rely on the listing to reflect reality--because in our case, it absolutely did not

It pains me to write this review because our experience left us with mixed feelings. This review…read moreis solely based on the property as a whole and not the condo we reserved. We booked a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo months in advance via a third party app. The condo itself was really nice, updated, clean and had an amazing view from the front and back. This is mostly in part to a great, responsive owner who takes care of their unit and is willing to fix issues as they arise. Now to the bad. The property as a whole is what I would guess as mostly used for vacation rentals with some year round residents sprinkled it. The place is massive. It's a high rise resort that was poorly built in my opinion. It has 22 floors with so many rooms. The catch is, there are not even close to enough elevators to handle the amount of guests and residents at any given time of the day. You have to plan your day around the elevators which wasn't on my bingo card with my meticulous planning I do for vacations. On top of that, the AC doesn't work in the elevators and if you decide to take the stairs, it's basically a sauna in there too. The main corridor to all the rooms is exposed to the elements so it has a dirty feel to it. The parking attendant and the front desk staff was not friendly at all. Never had an issue finding a decent parking spot though. One of the things that drew us to this place was all the amenities. The pictures online depict a really nice resort look. All the things advertised were there but we hardly got a chance to use them because of all the time wasted on elevators. They have 5 different pools including a kiddie pool, an island pool, and even a rooftop pool. We checked out the rooftop pool which had nice views, but the water features were not working and the hot tub was roped off. It was summer time so the pools stayed busy. Staying here, you get public and private beach access within walking distance. Just make sure and always have your wrist band on to use all the amenities. They also have dining options such as a taco place, a buffet, a sandwich shop, candy shop and a pizza joint. Again, this is strictly about the resort as a whole and not so much where we stayed inside of the resort. Our room was great. In this case, the bad outweighs the good, mainly because of time wasted on elevators. Though we had an amazing time in PCB, I can not see myself ever booking a room at this place.

Do NOT rent Villa 1911 at Edgewater from Khushbu Patel…read more This was by far one of the worst rental experiences we've had. We arrived around midnight to a hot, uncomfortable unit -- the A/C was clearly struggling to work properly. We informed the host, Khushbu Patel, right away. At first, she seemed receptive, but that quickly shifted. She later accused us of causing the A/C problem by leaving doors and windows open -- which was absolutely false. The windows in the unit don't even open, and we were extremely careful to keep everything closed. Things got worse. We were told by the host to vacate the property on Saturday evening around 7 PM, and we did exactly that. I even followed up with a message and a phone call to confirm we had left. Despite this, the host later accused us of staying the second night -- which was entirely untrue. I had clear evidence of our departure, but the host continued to make false claims. This experience was stressful, disappointing, and handled with a total lack of professionalism. I would strongly advise anyone considering this unit to look elsewhere. There are plenty of places at Edgewater that offer a far better experience -- and respectful, honest hosts.

They were no help fixing this and even accused her of doing something to the fridge. They are not clean and have terrible communication. Their cookie jars were moldy, kitchen had multiple cockroaches, and bathroom drains were clogged. when you go on facebook respectfully or semi respectfully trying to voice issues they delete your comment and block you. Terrible business owners not caring about their guest to make this situation right.
