About nine months in to my life in California, I got a "fix it ticket" from a motorcycle cop because my vehicle I brought from Oklahoma had the legal limit of tint from that state. Imagine my surprise to discover that sunny California had a law forbidding window tint on the driver and passenger windows. In the midst of this, a coworker brings me an advertisement from the mail for Sunblockers and even when booking my appointment, I knew they were trustworthy people. I took my vehicle in on the day of the appointment. Not only did I find the conversation enjoyable as I waited, but Suzanne was deeply knowledgeable about her business and the laws. She presented my options for UV protecting my vehicle with the tint gone, and also told me where the closest California Highway Patrol station was to get my ticket signed off. It was a smooth process from front to back. Unfortunately I completely missed my follow up appointment to get it fixed, but by that point felt God leading me to return to Texas, and didn't complete my business with them. I have used Sunblockers Window Tinting in Redding several (3-4) times. They have always been professional, their work is very good, the prices are really competitive. I have used the ceramic window tint twice on the last two vehicles Sunblockers tinted for me. I am sold on the ceramic tint- it is light years ahead of the standard window film. It keeps the vehicle dramatically cooler than the standard tint or no tint. It costs more but is worth it. I would use Sunblockers the next time I need tinting and would definitely select the ceramic tint as the film material. read more

Fantastic job on my brand new car's windows. Took 3 hrs. Only suggestion I have for them is to wash the car before they give it back. Hours after picking it up I noticed my car had streaks down every door from the solution used to clean the windows. It sat so long I had to wax the car to remove the streaks of dried soapy water. My car is black and I keep it clean & shiny so wasn't too happy to find that. read more

I got tints placed on my Infiniti Q45 and was ecstatic. They did an excellent job, and I mean excellent! I would recommend the place to all. I played with two Great Dane's whilst waiting on my vehicle; the office manager (perhaps the owner) was kind enough to let me pet-massage her dogs (smartest, most-gorgeous two dogs in the world). So, you ever notice most window tint is that weird purplish black color when its installed? Not these guys. Their tint is 200x better then anyone's else's around, period. Easy scheduling, I thought the price was great (I think they were having a promo or something), and it turned out great. I have only had it one for a week or so, and I know it has a warranty on it so I feel comfortable. On a side note I went with a limo tint on a white car, and I was worried it wouldn't look good or would be too dark....not the case, I am very happy with how it looks and turned out. This is the second time we've used Sunblockers. Response from sales was quick. Scheduling an appointment with sales was quick. Sales Rep was very helpful and had information from our previous order. He let us know up front they were busy, but they scheduled our appointment within a week. Installers were great. They showed up on time and did a super job. Highly recommend! This business has exceptional customer service. I called on a Friday and they went out of their way to get me in the next Monday. When I got there they took my car immediately and had it finished in what seemed like 10 minutes. The work was perfect. I was also able to hear the owner helping another customer with home window tinting while I waited. He was very knowledgeable and even offered help with City of Redding rebates and incentives. We got our Chrysler 300 tinted there today. Overall it was a great experience. Very friendly environment felt like sitting in a friends living room while we waited for the car to be completed. Explained everything really well. They use top quality materials, i am not sure about all of their products but we received a lifetime warranty on the tint. they are not just limited to car tint either they have a wide variety of applications for just about everything. They have a showroom with different displays that showcase the products they carry. When we got in to the car overall they did an amazing job! I will say that they could have cleaned up after themselves a little better then they did. I have soap residue stains all over my dash and all four doors. This is minor and does not effect my opinion or probability of visiting them for future tint work I might need done. it should wash off with a little bit of water on a rag. I would recommend to a friend, and I would take other vehicles to be tinted their. read more

So far so good. Nice tint job. The price was right, they had a $100 off special and even without the special I feel it was a decent deal. Nice clean shop. Friendly employees. Definitely a better enviroment than the place I went a few years ago. I'll be checking on other services provided. read more
