Being new to Flagler beach we were excited to try some local eateries as we prefer to support local business whenever possible. Sunbros cafe is exactly as described. Excellent brunch, lunch and coffee at an affordable price. The inside is very homey with tables for eating, couches and coffee tables to enjoy lattes and a boom as well as outside seating. The food is fresh and the flavor is right on point. I took my two daughters. We enjoyed the pancakes, hash browns, bacon and eggs as well as a turkey club with fries. The portions are excellent especially for the price. They have some of the best fries that I have ever had. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy and steamy in the center. I am already looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this charming local cafe. I also want to mention the staff was very helpful and attentive. read more

I read the three star reviews for this place and they all seemed a little uneducated and ignorant. Cafe's, generally, don't seat people. You seat yourself. The coffee being strong, may be strong, but why else would you order coffee? They also have different options. For the people who don't like strong coffee, there is an option called a latte. That is a sweet drink. Not strong. They also have different chai lattes available for the adventurous folk. For whoever reads the three star reviews I hope you have more common sense. This place is very nice. They do have a lot of food options for breakfast and lunch, and the wait for the food is not long at all. The avocado toast has more variety than any in town. You actually get what you pay for, which is a first in this town, I've noticed. The price is exactly what you're paying for. Not overcharging because they actually give you portions that fill you up. My family of 5 were vacationing at Hammock Beach and happened to stumble upon this cafe for breakfast few days into our vacation. After the 1st visit, my kids kept wanting to go back and got no arguments from my husband and I. The mocha was delicious & and the muffins were so good. My favorite was the banana walnut. My kids had tried the waffles & pancakes with different sides of bacon, sausage and hash browns all loved them. My husband had eggs and bacon and hash browns. Everyone thought it was delicious. I drive 20 minutes out of my way just to go to this cafe on the regular. The coffee is the best coffee I've found in Flagler. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the cafe itself is roomy and comfortable. Only cons is I wish it was closer to my house and the food is a tad expensive but with this economy everywhere and everything his increased in price. At least at Sunbros you get incredible quality!! Moved to Palm Coast in March and have been trying many of the restaurants in town. This by far was the best place we've eaten yet. We had the burger melt and the chicken salad. Everything from the quality, taste, and presentation was phenomenal. I also got a latte and my husband got a frappe. This is a place where you can get quality coffee AND a real meal in one spot. Coffee was good, bakery items minimal. Poor display. Ordered two scones because that's all they had. Wanted a croissant which was on their menu but the clerk didn't know what it was and after my third attempt told me they were out of it. Clerk probably felt pain when she smiled because she was stone faced. Wife's latte was good, scones were warmed up and were ok. Paid at the counter by credit card and was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I did but hesitantly because the place was ok and the clerk was stone faced but thinking further no tip was earned and I had to get my own coffee. This tipping is for the birds, subsidizing salaries. Will stop in again but with so many choices, it may be some time. Wish they had professional table service with waitstaff. Would make this place 100% better. read more

It seemed very unorganized. You have to go to the counter to order, and the kid at the register didn't seem to know much about the menu. Another young server was standing behind the counter fanning herself most of the time. You have to get up and get your own coffee which is inconvenient if you are in the middle of a meal. It would be nice to at least have a server come around with coffee refills. Almost all of the breakfasts come with meat and people don't always want meat and don't wish to pay for it. I would prefer the hash browns done on the griddle rather than deep fried. Too greasy. And the eggs were over done. They have only been open about a month so I hope they can iron out the kinks and train their employees better. There was one personable upbeat young man who seemed to have the cafe's interests in mind but he seemed to be the only one. I wish them luck but don't know if I will be back. I might give them one more try in a few weeks. read more

SunBros, How do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1.Their food is great (those homemade cinnamon rolls? oof, straight-up heaven in your mouth *chef's kisses* ). My husband and son are addicted to their waffles and the Morning Shoe. 2.The ambience is welcoming, bright and airy (and on Fridays they have live music!) and seating outside (puppers welcome out here so that's a bonus). 3.The bar area is newly opened and has a great drink menu- the Espresso Martini and Irish coffee are the perfect excuse for a mid morning drink 4. The most important part is the staff. Every single person who works there is friendly, polite and welcoming. They bother to know your name and make sure to take the time to say hello even when things are busy. 5. The family that runs SunBros are some of the most wholesome people and you can really tell they put their hearts into their business. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area...I moved away and I still drive 50 minutes weekly to come have breakfast here lol. read more

Amazing food, quick service, relaxing atmosphere. Best bagels around town. Vegetables they use were fresh and tasted great! Most restaurants drown their vegetables in butter but not this place. The pastries were absolutely to die for. Coffee crumble cake was lightly drizzled in caramel sauce and the french pastry was delicious. I got a hot latte and it was foamy and creamy. Way better than any coffee shops around Flagler beach. The staff was very helpful helping us navigate through the coffee menu. They had a huge variety we had no idea what to choose, but they were very helpful recommending flavors and things to try. If anyone is looking for a new brunch spot this is definitely the place to be. read more

We are out of town visitors and heard about this cafe through family. Delicious breakfast! The avocado toast was so good and the perfect portion. The waffles had a great crunchy texture.
