The biggest change is that it has gone through a total renovation on the inside. The check in area is right up front and it's large and spacious. The main floor looks almost the same, with the small cafe area also getting a face lift. I think the thing I noticed the most is that the stairs are gone from the center of the lobby. Now the main way to get to the second floor is the elevator. This definitely opened up the space. As for offices and different departments, the only ones I've been in since the change are urgent care and physical therapy. The urgent care is now on the first floor and when I had to go a few months ago, I was able to quickly book an appointment online for later that day. I had zero wait time and no problems at all. As for the PT area, it looks completely different, and in a good way. The service I've received has stayed the same, really great overall. I'll definitely continue to come here when needed.

This was the first time I have used this location for labs, but it was an option and wanted to go here based on location. I also use this location for Gastroenterology. They have a great department and my doctor works out of the Medical Plaza as well. I have consistently had good visits there too. For the lab work, upon arrival at the plaza the parking is still a bit of a mess due to construction. I would recommend allowing a little extra time to be on the safe side. It was busy when I walked in the tower there was a line at registration of about 7 people in front of me and more arrived after. The line moved as quickly as possible but there was only one employee at that front entrance. She worked to get us all checked in and I think it was just a 9 am rush. After check in and registration, I was directed around to the other side for the lab work. It was on the ground floor and that part of the lobby/waiting room was packed. I had an appointment and waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time or so. I did notice, they do offer walk-in lab hours but would recommend an appointment here if possible. Once my name was called, I was escorted back and the nurse verified my identity and did her job. She was great and was very personable which was nice after the wait. Overall, a good visit and friendly employees and nurses that I spoke with. I will definitely be back as they offer a lot of services and departments here at the Medical Plaza.

Went to the urgent care to see if this is a pinched nerve/slipped disce Of course before coming I was literally screaming in pain, so loud that the dogs became concerned and flanked me. Once at the urgent care all my muscels loosened up. I can see how they may not have understood my pain was past a ten five minutes before I checked in. Parking was easy. Big lot. Not a lot of people here Saturday evening. I got checked in. Waited maybe three minutes. Was taken to an exam room. Jerico took my vitals. Was pleasant but could noticeably tell he hated chit chat. Lol He excused himself and the wait for a provider began. While waiting I noticed this room smells weird. Gross weird. I dont even want to think about what it is but it smells like the trash needs emptied and the trash smells for lack of a more descriptive word. yucky. I think that conveys it. Kind of smells like a mixture of puke and disinfectant. Ew. See. Yuck. Doctor Haynes come is. Was relieved it wasn't another NP. Especially due to it being an upper back/neck injury. Thats mg big beef with this place the NPs. I explain some of my medical history. Explain the injury. She does an exam concluding its soft tissue causing the pain. And doesn't need an x-ray. I agree it doesn't need xrayed, but was wondering why she didnt lean to mri. Never did she mention it. Still holding fast to its an pulled muscle. I am 100000000000% sure it is more than that. So I ask for a referral to the spine clinic. She gives it to me I was sent home with lidocaine and muscle relaxer. I agree, those I needed. The entire visit took less than 30 from the time I sat down in the waiting room. The only thing I was surprised by there was no follow up call. Usually when you go to an ER in urgent care, especially with a neck injury staff follows up the next day That was not the case here no follow up was received.

(Both in width and in regards to backing out of). People fly in this lot, so be careful. The building itself is older. Its near the city so its a bit of a hike for me and not my favorite OSU location, mainly due to the lot. They have renovated the inside of the building and it looks better than it had five years ago but still many walls are painted in a dismal institutional beige. Checking in is easy. There is a front dest. She routes you to a numbered stall where your information is verified. Then they give you directions to find your docs practice location. Tip: If they tell you go to the Brutus hallway that is aka as "to the right" of the front desk. I saw my sports doc here for an ankle injury: Dr Anthony. He is definitely 5+ stars. He is very good at listening to what is bothering you as well as he is examining/diagnosing/treating the injury. So far, I have avoided surgery, but he does that as well. . Highly recommend him as I have been seeing him since before 2020. He has multiple offices.... Usually see him in New Albany.

Physician, Dr. Joanna Peng…read more When entering the room, she does not give good eye contact or communicate well with her patients doesn't show much concerned about their issues at hand and very quick with answer to your concerns of health. when and if your in pain shows, Dr. Peng has no compassion and her staff, including Nurse by name of Kaitlyn, Is also very rude to patients as well hopefully Management will speak to her self Dr. Peng and staff to be more professional and caring to patients. Of course, every patient has to make their own decision, but I do not recommend this physician to anyone's care. We all have moments where we are not having our greatest day, but should never be brought to work. Always care for others, and of course, patients should always show respect to staff as well.

He has been diagnosed and treated for everything from sinusitis, flue, sinus infection, Covid, fatty liver disease and a severe meniscus tear (which required surgery). Last week I took my husband there for severe lower abdomen pain and they immediately said he needed to go to a hospital and called an ambulance for him. They were taking him to Riverside, but Riverside had no availability, so he was being transported to Dublin Methodist. The front desk gal was so nice to call me and inform me of the location change. My husband ends up needing Emergency surgery! While he was still in recovery the doctor from Scioto Urgent Care called to see how he was doing and what the diagnosis was! You CAN"T get customer service like that from a large hospital and I highly recommend this location for any ailment you have -- They truly care and are excellent health care professionals who are exceptional in the field!!

Frustrating but oh well. So now we have to schedule another appointment in 2 weeks. Show up to that appointment as scheduled and the doctor isn't there to sign the order until an HOUR after the scheduled appointment time. So they said I could wait for an hour with my toddler and baby or I could leave. I'll never be back. How do you screw up scheduling 2 appointments in a row? Also when our main pediatrician was out of town we were scheduled with another doctor that was clearly not a pediatrician and told us to stop scheduling with her. I was like, this is were the front desk scheduled us. We don't want to see you either.... Often the nurses can't get the head circumference or just skipped measuring height altogether. We stuck it out for a year but that office is not a great place. We will never be back.

Currently, they are going through some renovations, so it is kind of a mess at the moment, but once finished, I think it's going to make this place really stellar. I generally meet with a Nurse Practitioner and she is very thorough and attentive to my concerns. The lab staff and quick and efficient and I've never had any issues! There is parking in the back, so don't worry about finding a spot on High St. Since it is so centrally located, students, you can just walk or take COTA. I definitely recommend this place. They really do take good care of their patients, and people who are more regular than I am, I could tell they remembered them and kept up on conversation about their lives. It's a nice feeling when going to the 'doc.

The only reason I started coming here was to get labs done, whether that be blood or anything else. They have a small lab in the back corner and can always see me quickly. It's only a few blocks away and last week I was there and back in less than 30 minutes, it was great! The staff is very friendly and patient too. As with most medical buildings, expect for them to check your temp when you arrive, give you a mask, and assist you in getting checked in. I've never had a hard time finding a parking spot either, now that I think about it. Overall, I will gladly state that this is my go-to spot for getting poked and prodded.
