From start to finish I was treated with kindness and even when I got back to the room everyone was very positive and when I discussed my concerns with the Dr he checked every single blemish & explained to me what they were and what they could have been caused by. Right here in Brandon FL. Dr Martin is the guy to go to. He's a great dermatologist and has wonderful bedside manners. It's easy to get in and out pretty quickly. When you need his service it's worth going out of your way to see him. And the prices are more than fair. read more

Pros-Dr Sookhoo is just fantastic, highly recommended Cons-rude front desk older lady w/ a nasty attitude she might just need to retire. Payment is due at the time of service which it never matches what the insurance actually pays making it a big confusion when they can easily bill the patient after the claim goes through the insurance with the remaining balance due, every visit they over charge you which is very annoying/very unnecessary for those reasons I would not return after my final treatment. read more

On March 26th, I had an appointment with Dr. Abrouk to have the stitches removed from my leg biopsy.  He prescribed medication for scarring. Dr. Abrouk asked if there was anything else I needed assistance with. I asked him to examine the puffiness under my eyes.  Dr. Abrouk said he would prescribe Tretinoin compound medication.  He said put a thin layer under my eyes.  I received the medication in the mail, I sent him a message on the patient portal asking if he could confirm the medication and how to use it, he did. On the second day, my eyes began to burn, I was in excruciating pain. My tears were burning my skin. I tried to contact Dr. Michael Abrouk, via patient portal and phone, but he didn't respond. I made an appointment with my primary care doctor and was told that I had a chemical burn. My eyes were red, and my skin swollen and distorted around my eyes. I was prescribed an ointment to help the pain. I made a follow up appointment with Dr Abrouk, I now have new dark marks, blurry vision and swollen eyes. Dr. Abrouk said I had an allergic reaction, but I could use the same medication he prescribed for my face to help clear up the dark marks on my leg. If I'm allergic to it, then I should not be using it at all. During the visit he made me feel very uncomfortable as he kept touching my leg when there was no reason as this visit was for my eyes, which really disturbed me. I had three different doctors confirm that I have a chemical burn on my face and that this medication is never to be used under the eyes. I believe Dr. Abrouk's lack of care for my issues concerning the area under my eyes and his inappropriate touching of my leg was deeply disturbing. My primary doctor referred me to another dermatologist, and I was told that I have a chemical burn and Tretinoin medication is never ever to be used under your eyes. I am currently taking additional medication, anabiotic's to help repair the damage under my eyes. My face is still swollen, I would not recommend Dr.Michael Abrouk to anyone. His lack of knowledge and compassion is appalling. I will never trust him with any issue I have.  He should never have touched me anywhere that was not an area of concern. I thought this ordeal was over, however, after checking my Patient Portal I discovered Dr. Abrouk had added another prescription.  I called the office but could not get through for several days, so I decided to go to the office and ask my questions about the prescription.  One of the nurses took my information and said she would be back in a moment.  She came back 25 minutes later and said she was not able to get an answer as to why the new medication was loaded to the portal.  I requested she call me once she spoke to Dr. Abrouk, however, it took two weeks for me to get a response. This is indicative of the lack of professionalism of this office. I would not recommend Dr. Abrouk to anyone.  Because of Dr. Abrouk, I now must see a Dermatologist to correct the new issues under my eyes and an Ophthalmologist as I have blurry vision and the area under my eyes is still swollen. Dr. Abrouk is the worst physician I have ever encountered for several reasons; poor judgement, unprofessionalism and no empathy for his patients are just to name a few. Dr. Ewanowski is a butcher for Mohs surgery My husband had a basil cell cancer on his nose. The doctor made a deep incision to remove it quickly. Then it looked horrible. He then suggested that he cut a piece of skin from between my husband's eyebrows and attach to his nose. He talked my huband into it- I was reluctant not to have a plastic surgeon, but he assured my husband it would look fine- and if any challenges my husband could kthen pay for dermabrasion and laser, but it was unlikely. I thought that was weird- back in California my husband had a basil on his nose and the moh's surgeon was maticulous and you couldn't even tell there was surgery. We will NEVER go back there. Now we have to find a plastic surgeon. read more

Dr Burke is fantastic! he does a great job looking for skin problems . Does a thoroughly search and freezes the spots on my back and neck . He took one sample off my cheek today and sent it to the lab . This reassures me that he is diligent on skin care. Has a great bedside manner. I have never have to wait very long in the waiting room. Very organized . Very friendly staff . .I love the Brandon office . I have been back to him every 6 months and never had a bad day there . Always a good visit .
