This was a great spot for the night. It's about 12 minutes outside of the east entrance to Glacier National Park and we were trying to get in before 6am due to reservation system. We reserved a tent site for our van and they had nice hot showers. Pretty much all we needed. We got a good nights sleep and arrived in the park before 6am. read more

This campground is located close to glacier NP. We have a 35ft fifth wheel and it was very difficult navigating turns in this park. The sites are very narrow and the bathrooms are not cleaned. If you have a smaller rig and plan on using your own bathroom the whole time you will be fine. read more

After exiting Glacier we thought about camping out before a few hour drive back . After checking a sight that was full , we pulled in here to a very helpful man , we checked the available sights and decided to stay ! Was great ! My husband and I are homeless right now and all we have is our camper to stay in while we are looking to buy a house. My husband is a veteran and we have lived here for 10 years, well I have my husband is from here. The owners of the tv park have been very nice and have been accommodating with us . We know that come October we have to find some where else, if we don't have our future home by then. Fingers crossed we do. I have honestly really been enjoying this though, even though I still get up and go to work almost every day. It feels like a mini vacation honestly. read more

Run to somewhere else! This place is falling apart and the duct tape and bubble gum is running out. The effort put into customer service is an absolute joke. The spaces are tight and overgrown with weeds. The laundry does not work. Navigating you way through the site is laughable as one of their roadways cannot accommodate a trailer. Read other reviews too, I should have. The train horn wakes you up twice nightly. read more

This was our first trip to Montana and was fairly last minute as well, so all the KOAs and campsites inside of Glacier NP were full up and reserved. I checked Yelp and this place came up and boy am I glad it did! We stayed on a tent site and everything was great. The price was right, they have a dog run that was perfect for our little mutt to run around in, and all the facilities were spotless. It's located just a few miles outside of the West Glacier park entrance as well, so the location is PRIME. We ended up leaving early to drive back home during the night instead of the morning and the owners noticed and came to talk with us just to make sure we weren't unhappy with anything. I was SO impressed with that level of customer service. They will absolutely be our first choice the next time we head to Glacier. read more

Ok yes.... there is gonna be highway noise. There's gonna be no power or WiFi to your tent site as promised. And, you might need a machete to clear your tent site. But, set all that aside and look at what you ARE getting! Those showers though!! Guy asked me how much hot water there was to which I replied, "All you could ever need!" Facts... Showers are on point. Did I mention the on site firewood and ice for CHEAP?!?! On top of that, the people running the place WILL go out of there way to try and accommodate. Ask and they will do their best to help you. Throw in a GREAT location and onsite laundry and price and BAM!!! 5 Stars!!! Will I be back? No idea. But if I am back for adventure, I WILL be staying right here at Sundance! read more

We really enjoyed spending two nights in Sundance Campground. The owner/operator was friendly, professional and helpful. Laundry, decent bathrooms and HOT showers were the highlights. We made good use of their laundry room and dishwashing area. We were able to restock our ice and firewood right at the campground. We slept well, despite the occasional trains (we used to live in a train town, so it was actually kind of soothing!) Wifi was available but the signal wasn't great. This campground is located on a fairly busy road but honestly after 10:00 p.m. it was pretty quiet in that regard. Recommend this gem! read more

I hate to be so harsh but we will not be returning or recommend this place to anyoneI. The reason for the three stars is because it's 6 mi to the West entrance plus Bob and Bill were very nice/helpful!! If you are in a tent or a small RV this place would be ok, If you don't mind the constant traffic/noise on the highway or the dirty bathrooms. Not so great for us being that we were in a 35 ft fifth wheel space #8. The dirt roads & campsites are rutted, dips, & uneven but there were tons of trees for shade but very hard to get in and out of your tight spot. To top off the week we spent there because every place else was booked would be that loud music & a ranting/yelling lady in the evenings very strange I believe she might've been the owner. read more

To take a break from preparing ahead and because I've been to the East Glacier National Park before, I decided to wing this trip since I've been to the Eastern of the Park before. I came here in the off season and I started to recall that campsites were more expensive in Whitefish and all full so I stayed at the cheapest motel in Kalispell. The Eastern entrance which is open longer than the Western side, seemed more expensive than most anywhere else in Montana besides Whitefish. This time I arrived in the busy season and every camping and RV sites was full so we drove from Whitefish towards the western park entrance hoping to see a sign for camping, maybe a National Park one and found Sundance camping site. There was some light left, yet we didn't see empty lots, but as we nearly pulled out the exit a nice man ran up to our car and said he could easily find us a space or wherever we saw some space, so he found us a spot on the edge of the kiddie playground area. People were still up hanging outside and there was a nice sense of community and a dog run. Many of the campers seem to have eclectic decoration like Christmas lights and the cabins were adorable and cheap for out there. Free WiFi included and free showers. Laundry, Dishwasher stations. Ice and firewood for a price. I realized the road to the western entrance to Glacier Park was only five miles to the camping area or seven miles to the headquarters, but we had missed the turn and didn't find that out till we got back to our starting point for the day. We only paid $25 for the night, but although that's higher than what we'd usually pay, I considered it lower for the area. I may have gotten a discount though, but still remember the rate was better than average. read more

We give this park 5 stars!! As we pulled in we were approached by the owner of the park. She was very upbeat and sincere. She walked us around the park to view the available spots. All of which were very nice, with shade trees, fire pits and privacy. The facilities at the park were exceptionally clean. They have 2 complete private bathrooms with very clean showers. Next to the bathrooms is the laundry room. Again, very clean and open. The atmosphere of the park is very welcoming. I would suggest this park to any family. read more

Although we may have only stayed one night it was the best choice we made in choosing where to stay. The posted business hours showed the front office closing at 7pm and we were still an hour away. Luckily the owners are super nice and welcoming that we called and they waited for us to arrive. Even after having to wait an hour for us to get there they still took the time to show us around and allowed for us to pick out the spot we wanted. They are the best! The camping sites are spacious including a fire pit and picnic tables. We had never stayed at a campground with running water so I was amazed with their amenities. The facilities are spotless and so convenient. Should we ever venture back up to Montana (which I hope is really soon) we are definitely staying again. read more

This campground is really convenient to the west entrance into GNP. We stayed in the camping cabin...which wasn't fancy...but acceptable. One nice surprise was a small fridge in the cabin. The cabin also has base board heat (which we didn't use) and a ceiling fan. It doesn't have air conditioning, but that wasn't an issue b/c the nights were cool enough. It had two full sized beds. I think the website says it has two twins beds and sleeps four people which was confusing. The campground is a bit overgrown with brush and weeds and the walking areas were kind of muddy...they could use a bit more rock around to prevent tracking mud. The actual campsites looked mowed and were clean. There is an outdoor sink attached to laundry/shower building. Bathrooms always very clean, as was the laundry facility. There was plenty of hot water for a good shower. The WiFi didn't seem to dork for us during the stay...however both Verizon and AT&T phone worked on site. If you're looking for a clean, convenient place to stay near the park on a budget..this is your spot!! read more

Stayed here late July 2016 with 5 other rigs. We decided to come a night early and called to see if they could squeeze 6 rigs in by chance. They bent over backwards to make it happen. The owners ares super nice and very easy going. The place is nice, very wooded and shady. Very close to glacier, about ten mins. read more
