I had my first experience at Keystone Korner for the sold out Destin Conrad show - we had a great…read moretime and look forward to another opportunity to visit. The entry process into the venue was really straight forward and smooth - we arrived about 40 minutes ahead of the concert and were led very quickly to our seats at the bar. They were very well prepared for the event - there were alot of staff, bartenders, and waiters catering to guests needs. The food and drink options were really nice. I had the burger, which was GREAT, and my girlfriend had the brisket sandwich which she really enjoyed too. The fries might've been the highlight of the meal though; they were wonderfully seasoned and fresh. I kept it simple with a bottled beer and she had a reisling - no complaints at all on our drinks. Shoutout to our bartender; she was very attentive even though the space was completely sold out. I like that the majority of the seats in the venue have at least a partial view of the stage. For those seats that are out of stage view, there are plenty of TV screens scattered around and above the bar to give everyone a chance at viewing the stage. I do think that the sound quality could be improved - we sat a little ways away from stage and definitely fought through some distorted or unclear sound. Maybe a speaker or two in the back of the venue would help. Perhaps it was because Destin's show was very popular, but we had ALOT of trouble buying our tickets online. Their site stalled or crashed several times while we were trying to purchase tickets. Would've loved to have a smoother purchase experience. This place has alot of soul; it's a perfect date night spot. Would happily come back again to see other artists, musicans, and vocalists.

I love this spot for a night out with great live music, strong drinks, and a good time…read more I've been to a number of shows here and always have an amazing time. The music is LOUD, but they luckily have ear plugs at the host stand in case you need some extra hearing protection. I usually buy bar seats on the stage side because the view is great and pretty cheap. The service can be a tad slow but generally pretty good. There is a 2 item per person minimum if you're ordering from the menu, so beware! Usually I'm ordering at least a drink (or two) and a snack, but you can't get just one thing. They have events for everyone, I've seen tribute bands for Erykah Badu, Usher, and Michael Jackson. It does tend to be an older crowd though, I usually find myself to be the youngest in the room here.

Would be good for a very casual meeting. Best thing here though is the biscuits. One of only a few places in Baltimore that has a biscuit worth a damn. It's huge, flaky and made into a sandwich with egg and sausage,...just awesome. Sausage is house made as well. I've never tried any other meal because it's my biscuit go to! Service is counter and very friendly.

The dance floor was full but enough space for all the dancing. The female caller was inclusive and direct, re-teaching steps when she saw some groups struggling, and she had great chemistry with her band. You really don't need to know anything about square dancing, she taught everything you needed to know. It was my first time square dancing, and although I was anxious about switching partners/dancing with strangers, it seemed like the caller took that into account: you start with just your partner, then find another couple, then you find two other couples, and all these formations ease you into switching partners. I was sweating by dance #2, but I stuck around until the band took a break after 1.5 hours. I had three complaints: her mic was not loud enough, the water machine was broken, and not enough chairs for folks taking a break. However, besides those concerns, square dancing made for a great, affordable date night.

When I called back, she admitted to hanging up on me intentionally and continued to yell, informing me that there would be no live music until July 13. Due to this experience, I will not be visiting this establishment on July 13 or any other date. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to stay away, as the hostility I encountered over the phone suggests even worse in-person interactions.

Excellent creative, skilled, fun musicians played their lively high-energy jazz interpretations of Stevie Wonder hits during a tribute show for his birthday to a full room. On this Friday, the line started forming before 7pm, and doors for seating opened around 7:30 for the 8pm show. Once inside, there is self-seating, and specific tables can be reserved. It's a big room for around 100. The photos don't do it justice. It's cozy and bright and fresh, with banquet-type chairs and tables, and a full bar that seats around 6 in comfortable padded high-back chairs. We had immediate service from both the bar and kitchen, and were served quickly by friendly staff. The room was full, so maybe some others had longer waits for service. We had prosecco and Jack&ginger, both fine. Food arrived quickly, too, and it was perfect! You might not expect it from a menu that is mostly fried, but wow again, the broiled salmon was perfectly creamy, tender, fresh and flavorful, and the fried fish was generous and very fresh, maybe the best i've ever had! More than one person praised the wings, too! The managers visited our table a few times to be sure we were happy, and we were :-). Everyone we met was nice to talk to, and the whole crowd had a real good time. Several couples got up on the dance floor, too. Outside, there is a large parking area with watchful staff. Half of the building is a package store, so when you approach it, look to the left for the door with a buzzer to press for entry into a long plain hallway with a few chairs for people who arrive early. Some of you will be put off by the low-key exterior, but the reward is amazing music and musicians, great food, nice people, and a real good time!
