I really enjoy this place not only for the live music and the chill vibes, but the food is so good. The atmosphere and service are nice. This location is small, and many vary with seating capacity for people who want more space.

I have been wanting to go to Jojos so when my homegirl suggested it for her birthday I was very excited. We had a five pm resi and when we arrived there was a little line out front. However, right at 5 the doors opened and we were quickly ushered to our seats. The service, food and live music were great! We had a few bottles of wine and I had the seafood pasta without the squid. They even gave the birthday girl a dessert. I will definitely be back for more good times!

Good times! Went there with my husband to celebrate our anniversary on jazz night. Such a good time! We were super early, but the server got us settled and we got drinks and apps while we waited (no pic, hungry- we had calamari and wings) Dinner was soo great! Hubby got a steak with blue cheese sauce and I got bacon Wrapped shrimp and blackened salmon. Side note: the broccolini on the side was awesome. The band was great, a bit loud so hard for convo, next time we'll sit further back. Will definitely return!!

I stopped by JoJo's while in town visiting. My friend and I enjoyed our meals and loved the live music. It's a cozy and intimate spot with good food and drinks. The server was friendly and welcoming.

Totally had to get some Jazz in my bones while I'm in DC for a few weeks and I'm super happy to admit that Jojo restaurant and bar made for an awesome first stop. I made a reservation for 6:45pm and I'm happy I did. Although I probably could have managed to snag a seat at the bar without one, the place is teeny tiny and could have easily been filled to the brim. There were a healthy amount of folks in this night and I had a great time sitting incognito and watching them all. Jazz was great! On the melodic side but it scratched the jazz itch I had. Ok now, the food was phenomenal. For dinner I opted for the lamb chops and they were huge and delicious. When the plate came, I immediately knew I had been in Los Angeles too long because we never get anything this size and price back at home. The lamb was beautifully seasoned with delicious potatoes on the side; I scarfed down the whole thing mighty quickly. ALSO! I think the new love of my life is the Apple tartlet. Perfectly sweet with a healthy dose of cinnamon, sugar, and a big dollop of gelato on top. It was everything I needed to top off my already perfect meal. Drinks were great too! I got the jungle inn, a rum based concoction as well as The Ellington. Which was served in a fancy martini glass. Both were amazing. Totally great introduction to the jazz scene in DC at Jojo restaurant and bar! I'm already looking forward to where my next jazz adventure in the city takes me.

Cannot say enough about JoJo...the music, food. And intimate setting was perfect. Of corse this is Washington DC and as a result parking is always a challenge...we took and Uber. Tje place was packed (loves it elbows rooms only) which added tobthe intimacy. The service, although we did not have a reservation was accommodating. We were able to get seated after a no show. The music and crowd made us feel at home. Of in DC and your schedule permits ...this is a must stop. KEEP IN MIND THE PARKING AND NEES FOR RESERVATION.

One of my top 5 DC spots for both food and entertainment! Food is excellent. Ambiance is always a chill with a grown & sexy vibe. We've been coming here for over a decade now and this place never disappoints!

Great good! We both had the lamb chops. Portions were very generous. Wine pours were awesome. Band was awesome. I'd give them a 5 but we made a reservation and then when we got there we were told there were no tables downstairs. We had to sit at the bar. You should save tables and honor reservations!

Wednesday night live jazz was an absolute VIBE! Tedd Baker Trio played beautifully, and the creole seafood pasta was top notch. Our server was attentive and kindly accommodated all of our requests. Highly recommend this cozy spot!!!

Food was delicious but the live music made the night! I got the Cajun chicken penne pasta and my friend got the shrimp scampi, both were delicious and pasta was cooked perfectly. The live band was great but we sat upstairs and only came down to sit for an awhile after our meal and the place had cleared out a little. It gets packed so you need to make a reservation!

Not saying that dining companions are distracting, but I felt like I could fully experience the flavor of both the Taglioni Neri and Gnocchi, both half portions at $10 each, better on my own. When the dishes came, I saw that the sauces were both red and feared they would taste too similar. After one fork full of each, they are quite clearly distinct. The standout in the Neri were the shellfish for me. Even though they were small bits, the pieces tasted fresh. In the Gnocchi, the saltiness of the prosciutto, though not overwhelming, paired well with the basil sauce. I finished a little more than half of each plate before boxing it up for a small lunch the next day. The service was great and the tall ceiling and windowed dining room provided a nice atmosphere. It was a cloudy and rainy Memorial Day, but I wondered what the sunlight looked like shining through those high windows. How lovely a space they have created to enjoy fine Italian dining in.

However, when we walked in and saw only a couple of tables occupied, I had a feeling it might not live up to its appearance. Unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be justified once we looked at the menu and tasted the food. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 1/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is modern, clean, and well maintained. The dining room is attractive and comfortable, and it feels much more upscale than your average Korean restaurant. Service - Service was adequate. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. The staff took our order, brought out the food, and checked on us occasionally. What We Ordered - -Galbi - At over $40, this was by far the most disappointing dish of the meal. I've had galbi at countless Korean restaurants, many of which charge under $30 while delivering significantly better flavor and quality. The seasoning was noticeably different from what I'm accustomed to, and not in a good way. For the price, it felt extremely underwhelming. -Pa Jeon - Just okay. It was a standard Korean pancake that didn't stand out in any particular way. -Tofu Stew - We ordered it mild, but it was surprisingly spicy and excessively salty. The saltiness overwhelmed most of the other flavors in the dish. -Korean Fried Chicken - Unfortunately, this suffered from the same issue. The chicken itself was decent, but it was far too salty, making it difficult to enjoy. Final Thoughts - The biggest issue for me was the value. Nearly every dish felt overpriced for the quality being served, and the excessive saltiness across multiple items made the meal even more disappointing. While the restaurant looks great and has a modern atmosphere, the food simply did not justify the prices. Considering how many excellent Korean restaurants I've been to over the years, this was one of the more disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.
