Came here with family and this place was great. Beautiful atmosphere and the staff were great. We chose to sit outside and they had beautiful outdoor seating on the water enclosed off and it was very nice. The inside is very nice as well, but it was beautiful day so we chose to eat outside. The food here was good and what I liked is it doesn't get packed like there other restaurants Oaklands they own right next to them. I feel the younger crowd flocks to Oaklands and Sundays is more the older crowd. Either way both restaurants are great. I got a burger and my wife got fish and chips and both were great! I would definitely come back and look forward to trying different items off the menu. Food 9/10 Staff 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Parking accessibility 10/10 Look forward to coming back and highly recommend!

The food at Sundays on the Bay is solid -- fresh and well-prepared, with a menu that delivers exactly what you'd expect from a waterside spot. Unfortunately, the service and management leave much to be desired. Staff were noticeably unfriendly, and the wait for service was unreasonably long, even though there were plenty of empty tables available outside. Despite the space, the host refused to seat us there, which felt more like poor management than policy. The vibe is very local, which can be charming if you're familiar with the scene, but don't expect much in the way of hospitality. Could be worth a visit for the food and view -- just don't come hungry or in a rush.

Flavorless oysters and New England clam chowder that tastes like Progresso

This was meh. We came here for their weekly twin lobster special (two twin lobsters with corn and a potato for $55). We were able to walk in with no reservation on a Monday night and were quickly seated. After a round of drinks, we started with a few appetizers - New England Clam Chowder (because I'm on a mission to sample them all), some oysters on the half shell and baked clams. The oysters had no flavor and lacked that "fresh out of the water" salinity, the New England Clam Chowder tasted like someone threw a bunch of extra herbs into a can of Progresso and the baked clams were bland and overdone. Despite all of this I was still hopeful that my steamed lobster would be fine...how bad can you mess up lobster, right? I don't know where they get these lobsters from that they're this cheap, but they were also a bit rubbery but still edible, so I drowned mine with butter and made the best of it. The seafood stuffing I added on for $8 was overdone and burnt. Honestly, the best part of this meal was the corn. The ambiance here is probably what draws folks in since it's right on the water, but there's nothing else redeeming about this place. I'd skip it.

What's left of the delicious local clams in white wine garlic sauce with accompanying baguette

Returned to Sundays after several seasonal visits the past couple of years only to be met with disappointment. We were met and greeted immediately and cheerfully and led to a deck table overlooking the marina. Excellent. We were introduced by our smiling, upbeat server Anna (who'd, coincidentally, served us last summer too!). We ordered the clams in garlic white wine sauce, 2 lobster specials (2 lobsters each with 1/2 ear of corn, baked potato and drawn butter) and a bottle of Sancerre to enjoy with it all. I had a perfect spicy Bloody Mary to start off with too! The clams arrived in quick fashion with a small warm baguette. I highly recommend this dish! The clams were each 1/2 dollar sized, cooked perfectly and nestled in a wonderful wine & garlic sauce. Yum! The baguette was perfectly crusty outside and cushiony inside to soak up the clam bowl goodness. Then...the lobsters...served as we've seen in the past. Two steamed 1- 11/4 pound crustaceans with corn & potato side. However, the corn was pretty flavorless & unappealing and all 4 lobsters, sadly & unexpectedly, noticeably overcooked. A shame. Additionally the lobster special price had risen by 10% from $50/pp to $55/pp. A disappointing evening after all. Doesn't mean we won't write it off as an off night and try again...but stirred the "lobster is pretty ubiquitous around here & I'm well qualified to buy it & cook it myself served with better corn & save a lot on the wine" conversation. My prior visits have been 10s and Anna is terrific, so we'll likely return...but the "ubiquitous lobster" talk is gaining traction.

Wonderful place! The location was perfect (weather helped out), service was prompt and friendly, and the food was amazing. All around great! Started off with the Oysters (cooked), got the Fish Tacos...Fish Sandwich and Lobster Roll. Lobster Roll was mine and delicious! Totally worth the price. The view helped as well, and we were in and out pretty quickly. Highly recommend stopping by if in the area.

We came on a Saturday night, party of 7. Make a reservation! Julia was lovely. We sat inside which was fine. A lot of windows and there was a pleasant breeze. No a/c. We came specifically for steamed lobster and we weren't disappointed. I really liked the coleslaw too (sweet with a little vinegar). The staff was friendly. Good place for families and friends.

Great place. Hosted my sisters night before/rehearsal party and it went well. We needed additional seating and the staff made that happen in a timely fashion. Briana was good to work with in coordinating the details ahead of time.

Twin lobster special, one with a side of fries and one with a house salad. Always a great sunset overlooking the boat dock!

8/8/23 Twin lobsters were on our mind this evening. We ordered one each of our lobsters stuffed with their amazing stuffing. Our server Ryane was very attentive, We opted to bring a few claws and a tail home to make lobster salad tomorrow, I'm sure it will be wonderfully delicious. Sundays on the bay is always a lovely setting and a special treat.

This was a memorial tribute and this is what we experienced!

Omg sundays in Hamptons Bays! Steer clear! We just went for a memorial and the bill was 2k, yes 2k! The waitress apparently said we were complaining about service when we were oblivious to this information. Anyway, the service was awful, steak charred, no utensils, delayed drinks etc and the restaurant was 75% empty! So no escape goat there. Then they tried to rush us to pay after they served us cake with no coffee orders. We then requested coffees and they took forever and all cakes were eaten so we cancelled. We then reviewed the bill which was full of errors so had to be rerun. In the interim, the pregnant employee named Bree told my brother to get the fk out of the restaurant. Yup you read that right. I was in the car and went back in to speak to the manager ( there is none over an estate dispute so employees can do what they want and they know it bc they have job security). I went to speak to the pregnant employee who was at the front and she said you can leave or I'm calling the cops. I urged her to do so! The cops came and apologized for this behavior especially as my sister wept over her late husband! Lisa a staff member perfusively applogized and attempted to diffuse the whole situation. Just steer clear this place is drama. The best part was the waitress who started all of this still walked away with a $400.00 tip! Love it

Location was next to water which is beautiful. The waitresses were nice and we were quickly seated on a high table which can be shared with strangers. We didn't mind because we had a great view of the water for the sunset. Food was good but we had originally decided it order a appetizers to share among 3. We got quite a few things, the kale salad, the crab dip, crab cakes, tuna wontons and mussels in wine. We were surprised to see how little comes with the crab cakes and tuna wontons. The crab dip is really delicious but be aware there is a lot of cheese. Only only negative review would be that since i gave up pork we originally did not know that the award winning clam chowder had bacon in it! It's not noted in the menu which i think definitely should! The scallops entree also has chorizo on it and the baked clams also had bacon in it.

Great food! Beautiful interior makeover! The 1 1/4 twin lobster special was cooked to perfection. Great kale salad. My friends ordered the crab pasta, salmon, and the Bronzino. They all love their dishes! I was Server was very attentive and informative on all the dishes.

Came here with my wife and father in law a few weeks ago and the food and service was solid. Came on slow day so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves, but I really enjoyed the food. Shrimp was cut into small pieces and wasn't overly covered with sauce. Shrimp had great flavor and the French fries were very good. I got a steak bowl that came with rice, beans, avocado, sweet plantain, and a nice veggie slaw. The bowl was very good and the steak was pounded out and just very good. Onto my meal, I got the filet taco, boom shrimp taco, and the hot honey chicken. They were all so delicious and yummy, I can tell they took their time creating each taco into a masterpiece. I loved the boom shrimp the most, then the hot honey, and then the filet taco the least, but all of these were so delicious I loved it! The boom shrimp is a delicious trip into the savory tastes of shrimp and the sea. I loved the addition of tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and avocados, drizzled in ranch. The filet taco is a great feast of filet steak and crispy crunchy onions. Lastly the hot honey chicken was great with purple lettuce, corn, pickles, and more fresh delicious veggies. I loved all the tacos so much and if I come back to the area I'd definitely come back, a must go to! Service/ambiance: First off the waiters came to us quickly with a nice refreshing water pitcher with lemons. It was a nice day out but not too hot, inside was nice and cool with the ac but not too cold, a nice balance. Not too loud of a place but nice and chill with a light speaker with music playing in the background. This in my opinion is a huge upgrade to the last location in Northport, this is much bigger and it looks cleaner. Something that stood out to me was that there was no men's sign on the bathroom, but there was on the ladies. I don't know if they're discriminated or something, but that was something, but besides that the bathrooms were very squeaky clean.

The wait staff was outstanding. Very often, during a business meeting at other restaurants, I have had waitors interrupt the train of thought ... or mid-sebtence swoop in and ask if everything is alright or if more drinks are needed. Here, our waitress did a great job of appearing during very good times and not being overbearing, yet at the same time being helpful and attentive. The atmosphere is okay. Inside is kind of typical of an upscale corporate event-style venue. The upper outside deck is fantastic with views of the water and comfortable seating. I would come back if I was in the area. Though there are better food options elsewhere in the Hamptons, for a sit down restaurant that you can do business in, it hits all the right notes. Prices are high, as expected, in the Hamptons.

The pizza we ordered had an extremely thin crust that was perfectly crunchy and had just the right amount of sauce and cheese on it. We were there just after St. Patrick's Day so they had some drinks and food off the special holiday menu. I got the Captain's punch which was very balanced and fruity. Everything on the menu sounded great it was hard to decide what to get. The host and server both recommended their stone baked pizzas since they said the restaurant was known for it. We decided to grab it as an appetizer. We ordered the basic Neapolitano pizza since my husband isn't super adventurous in taste. It was light, very flavorful and just enough crispness. We ended up saving a couple of slices to take home. For entrees I got the olive oil poached halibut and my husband got the short rib special. We both loved our dishes. It was just the right amount for entrees. The halibut was super flakey, light and flavorful. I liked the earthiness the veggies brought to the dish paired with the delicate halibut. The short ribs were also very good according to my husband. He said that it was super tender and was really good with his mashed potatoes. We also got dessert of their doughnuts that came paired with a sweet caramel sauce and fresh raspberry sauce. The doughnuts were nice and warm, light and airy. It paired well with the sauces. We were so stuffed that we took the rest home as well. I would definitely recommend booking a reservation with them since the restaurant can get packed pretty quickly especially if there are special events going on in the facility. We were lucky that we went when they opened so we got a table right away without reservation. Maybe an hour later there were definitely patrons waiting. Everyone was great from the host to our server. The bathrooms in the inn was also very clean. Thanks for the great meal and hospitality. We would be returning again in the future.

It's huge here, with views that would've been stunning if it wasn't such a cold and overcast day. We sat down for dinner and were greeted by our waitress Amber, who explained that we could go up as many times as we want for food without issue. Verbatim told us "you can eat 8 lobsters if you want," so we took this as a challenge. I'm a little ashamed to say I only ate 1 1/2 lobsters. I got distracted by side quests like the raw bar (I housed several plates of raw oysters, clams, and shrimp cocktail) along with mussels, ribs and a meat ball. This deal also included a dessert -- a bread pudding they bring out at the end that's packed with cinnamon and extremely delicious. All in all, I definitely ate my money's worth, but if I had to do it again (and I sure will be back), I might honestly start with the lobster and then go to the raw bar afterwards to make sure I get my fill.

Ridiculous. Ok food that costs an absolute fortune. Paying for the location. If you like to waste…read moremoney enjoy!

During our little New Year's trip to the area, we were hoping to get some seafood from Clamman but…read morethey were already closed for the night, so this was our next choice-- and boy, it did not disappoint! We got a huge order-- three piece of fried chicken with wing, thigh and drumstick, as well as the chicken sandwich and fries, mac and cheese side, and an order of hot wings, with an apple pie for dessert. Everything was brought out hot to the car, and they put it right into our trunk, so it was 100% pandemic proof. The fries are really delicious-- nice and thick cut, with good seasoning, the chicken sandwich is TERRIFIC-- nice soft roll, deliciously seasoned and fried chicken, the crisp and slightly sweet bread and butter pickles a perfect complement, and it's not so big that you feel like exploding after (but also-- makes you definitely not want to share!), and of course the chicken itself was nicely done. I was super surprised by how strangely good the wings were, too-- I always like wings, so I was ready to be happy, but these were like... exceptional, and surprisingly big-- really, really MEATY wings. Plus even the carrots and celery and blue cheese that came with were above normal levels of yummy. The only ding to our experience was the apple pie-- it was kind of goopy in an off putting way, like they used that slime from a can of "apple pie filling", so that was sad. But I still gave full stars because I was honestly enthralled by everything else, as was my fiance, so I'd just say maybe skip dessert and enjoy what you should be there for anyway-- the killer chicken.

Solid 3.5- but wasn't super impressive. The service was a bit slow on a weekday and I didn't love…read morethe food. I guess we should have ordered a burger this being a burger place but the chicken sandwiches were a bit on the dry side. We also got steak tacos which were decent and fries which I would say were pretty good. Nice beer selection. Overall an OK experience but probably would not return.
