We had such a wonderful and delicious dining experience. The food was fresh, made to order and the service was excellent! Our waitress was personable and funny! Dad was grateful for our patronage! We had fish and chips which was not oily but flaky and tender! The chicken pot pie was out of this world, and the soft shell crab was swimming hours before they cooked him! Absolutely delicious! The fried flounder is perfection. So perfectly and lightly fried. It is not greasy and perfectly crispy. The homemade tartar sauce is just so yummy. Magic! Rude as soon as I walked in the door. I had my service dog with me and was asked for my paperwork like I was I was faking my disability. why because I didn't have dark glasses and a cane. I had my paperwork in my bag but was so offended and upset I left and my son had to help me to the deli down the block. A definite HIPAA violation. We visited Wednesday, in August, and we went right to the bar...we chatted with Dave and Sharon through the night, and we're the last to leave.... I had the North Fork Chowder which was soooo good!! And the fresh Soft Shell Crab sandwich... my husband had the boneless chicken wing appetizer and a burger... which was cooked to perfection! We look forward to our next visit! read more

I visited from Connecticut and stayed at American Beach in Greenport, which was fabulous. I then went to front Street station for dinner. The service was awful. The owners were fighting at the front and then the food was served half raw. The owner came over to ask us how the food was and I explained that it was kind of raw and I didn't wanna make a problem, but if she could just put it back in the oven for a little bit, that would be great. She proceeded to tell me no And that I had to pay for the food as is, I told her I have no problem paying for the food, but I would like it more cooked. She ripped the plate off the table and I didn't receive my food back for 30 minutes. I would not recommend this place. It was awful and I honestly felt unsafe. read more

Interesting little place in heart of Greenport. The menu is made to order so I heard the waitresses tell multiple tables if there is something you want made differently, the chef can accommodate. I wish I would've known that you can order from lunch menu at dinner but I heard after I had ordered. The service was a bit slow but it seemed perhaps a little understaffed so I think that is why. I had the build your own burger. I had mine with swiss and sauteed onions. The burger was delicious. Tasted like it was right off of the grill. The fresh cut fries were also tasty. The coleslaw had an apple flavor which was unique and very good. My husband and I split the apple pie for dessert. It was topped with a little bit of crumb and was really good. read more

Horrible service- walked in with my husband and two small children for lunch and was offered a table in the blatant sun- asked if we could sit in one of the many other available tables in the shade and were told no. I tend to give a lot of 5 star reviews because you can't compare the 4 Seasons to a Mom and Pop hotel by the same standard. Front Street Stationed doesn't compare favorably to a place like Ruth' Cris,but you will have a hard time finding better french fries, friendlier people, a cleaner establishment, or better casual dining facility than Front Street Station. My Daughter In Law loved the chicken pot pie, my wife the pot roast special . The one star review is really a puzzle. Maybe they were having a bad day, or were trying to get their meal comped? Bottom line not the place for a romantic seaside dinner, but for casual dining with the family you wont be disappointed. read more

We walked around until we came up to Front Street Station and we were so glad we did. We were greeted by A very friendly waitress who came to our table more times than I can remember. The food was great,fresh (Soft-shelled crab) and very tasty. The soup was amazing. They were extremely busy so there was a bit of a wait but they offered us a glass of wine, on the house. We were looking for some dinner close to our hotel (Harborfront Inn) and found Front Street Station located right across the street. What a lucky find! We ordered the chicken Chardonnay which I am still dreaming about. Creamy and delicious pasta and chicken in a white sauce. Not too salty or dry. I'm just bummed we didn't get to order it again before we left! We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was flavorful and such a treat. While in Greenport on Saturday, 4/24, we figured we would give the "Station" a try ! We were not disappointed ! My lady had the fish chowder and loved it...and a Turkey club ! Loved both ! I had the "1963" Burger which is a burger with a three meat blend ! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had !!! The sweet potato fries where over the top delish !!! Had a Groupon for this restaurant and wanted to try it as we had never been there before. Place was empty as it is a Wed and the weather was lousy. Super nice waitress. I ordered a cocktail which was good and hubby just had a soft drink. I got a lunch special which was a Reuben and he got a burger. He enjoyed his burger which I could see was hand made. That's a plus. The fries are very unique and huge and were quite good. Now for my Reuben. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. First, the sandwich was not put in a pan or a flat top with butter and cooked as it is supposed to be. The amount of meat was barely 3 pieces thick and the Swiss cheese was barely melted. Looked like it had been assembled and put under a salamander to toast for a few minutes. When you are charging 15 dollars for a sandwich that is not something difficult or special, you should at least try and make it correctly and authentic. It is a simple sandwich to make. I was not wowed by the place and I felt it was very overpriced for the amount of food and quality I was served. To top it off, the woman's room is disgusting. I am NOT a neat freak, but this was gross. The toilet was dirty. No one has taken a brush to it in awhile, around the bottom of the walls are something blackish and the room smelled of urine. They apparently do well during the season, so maybe they need to look into giving their bathroom a facelift. Or once the weekend is over, give the bathrooms a good cleaning. Bleach and soap doesn't cost that much. If the bathrooms look like that, what does the kitchen look like? I HATE giving bad reviews, but I really hope this restaurant takes some advice. read more

Tried to go in with my friends and family. It was just six of us and there was only two tables seated in the whole entire restaurant and they told us that there cannot accommodate us because we were too many people. It would of be an 45 minutes to an hour wait. Then we asked him if he could recommend anywhere else we can go to grab seafood and he told us about Andy's . He says that they are more accommodating with large groups. So we asked if they serve seafood and his reply was, " Yes I see food" that's when we were all very confused. Awesome dining experience! Wednesday nights seem to be quite in Greenport as many restaurants closed for dinner. So happy about that because it led us to this beautiful space. We went to try it out it wasn't busy at all the service was okay but the food was excellent I would recommend it to others

We walked in here today and was greeted right away by our server and who I think was the owner. They both seemed a little frazzled about the help in the place and told us that they only had two cooks but they would try their best to accommodate everyone in the place. We did wait a little for our food but our server was amazing in making sure we knew what we wanted and even gave us some more water and some pickles while we waited for our food. When the food came it was amazing! My wife's salad was fresh with all fresh ingredients, my sandwich was made perfect and neat for a double decker. What I liked most was the quality of service. My two girls both ordered the same dish. They both never finish their meals when we go out to eat. Our waitress recommended we split the dish as it was a lot of food. She was right and it was the perfect amount for both our girls to eat. It's the first time they both cleaned their plates. The food was amazing and I highly recommend eating here. The staff, although short is making every attempt to make their Customers happy. read more

We visited during a busy Saturday evening, asked to be seated outside. We did sit outside, but with no service available. Then we asked if we can sit at the bar, and ultimately we were told they cannot accommodate us. First thing is I love that this place is opened in the fall at an early hour while all the other restaurants were closed. We started off with the oysters (huge) and mussels (massive). I didn't think I would get half full off just appetizers but I did and yet was still determined to try their meals. Their soft shell crab sandwich were crispy and juicy at the same times. The fries were so yummy, I love a gentle layer of crisp and then a lot of potato inside. The chicken parm was pretty on point as well but that we definitely needed to take it to go cuz it was just way too much for lunch anyways. This place is a lovely place to brunch. :) read more

Got off the ferry and quickly yelped a lunch place nearby. Pleasantly surprised to find this wonderfully charming place with people working there just as charming especially our waiter Paulie. I had the Venetian Salad: Field Greens, Cucumber, Tomato, Mandarin Oranges, Caramelized Walnuts, w/ Asian Vinaigrette Dressing. I had shrimp on top grilled and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the Plandome Wrap: Grilled Chicken, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, Honey Mustard Dressing in a tortilla wrap. We got to the restaurant literally Minutes after they opened. My friend walked in to tell them we were outside and no one came for 15 minutes. She was puzzled that we had no menus. Then went we wanted to at least get drinks she couldn't just tell us the draft beers to order any. Not that they had more than two local ones anyway. Our appetizer took at least a half hour to come out (tomato and mozzarella) and it was a non ripe tomato, in the middle of the summer somehow. We were looking for an appropriate place to take a few teenagers for lunch in the area and came upon this restaurant. We were starving so we decided to eat. First off, if you are a vegan keep looking. The food that we ordered was not great and we asked if we could have the penne with shrimp, clams, garlic and oil without the shellfish (because there was nothing else) and the waitress said yes. When she brought it she put it down and said oh, can you have clam juice because that's whats in there. Ugh, no! Front street is as good as it gets when your talking home town good food. Pasta is awesome. They have seafood and chicken pastas, fried chicken. Raw bar. Salads are very fresh and tasty. Lots of friendly faces at the bar- Like cheers if you're old enough to know what I'm talking about. And the burgers are made with great cuts of meat. Always a family friendly place.
