Mostly because as a Vietnamese I always try to find chances to support our people's businesses whenever I came. I have to say it was the best choice I made. The entire office was so nice and professional, that include Linda and her brother, Peter, and Edith. For all the time I was with them, I always had the best quotes and best care. It feels like a family rather than an insurance company where we have to be vigilant and often get ripped off. I also want to compliment State Farm for the same reason. They reached out to me when I had a small fender bender and didn't pay attention to the accident besides my safety. They took care of everything so professionally and fast that I couldn't believe it. I moved around a little bit in town, and whenever I reported the new addresses, they would cut me a check for deduction if that place is a bit cheaper. That's so moving! Now I have permanently relocated to Pearland, I had to leave Linda Nguyen and State Farm for a local agency and a different company with regrets. Simply because State Farm doesn't really cover home insurance in Pearland and I wanted to bundle everything under one company for good reasons. And even when the new company neglected to send the cancellation to them, Edith at Linda Nguyen graciously helped me get the full refund with no question asked. I was a customer for years, but they were never able to even come close to the auto rate offered by Progressive, but then when an Allstate bundle beat what I was paying for auto at Progressive and homeowners through Suzanne Brown / Texan, that made me decide to leave both of them. My exit was handled very badly, my cancellation document, which I signed and have a copy of, was never sent to the insurer, so weeks later I had to call the insurer directly and get that taken care of myself. But this wasn't the only time, many times in the past I could never get my agent to call me back. I guess she was off chasing big commercial real estate deals, and we private homeowners are too small to care about? Well, the relationship is over now, and I'm glad to have EVERYTHING at one place, where I can look at it one one phone app.

This mistake cost us hundreds of dollars and created completely avoidable stress during an already high-stakes process. What made this situation even worse was her behavior before and after the error. She repeatedly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and failed to listen when I tried to clarify details--details that would have prevented this mistake in the first place. When I finally called her out on the error, she took zero responsibility. Instead of owning the mistake or offering a solution, she became defensive and unprofessional, telling me "this is my agency, I own this, and you can't escalate to management." That response alone speaks volumes about her accountability and customer service standards.
