Walked in after confirming via telephone that they do indeed repair all types of glasses (not just sunglasses). The pin/screw fell out of the stem of my glasses at a very crucial time, and there was no possible way for me to fix them myself, so I put good old-fashioned tape on them to hold me over until I found the wonderful team at Sunglass Emporium early last week. They were immediately kind and had me sit down and the owner just so happened to be my repair technician, and after some minutes just trying to figure out how to even put them back together, he utilized all the tools on his desk and even some from the backsome! At one point the process required two people to put that tiny pin back in, but they prevailed and I walked out with glasses that were perfect once again, despite the heavy scratches due to me using my shirt tail one too many times to clean them! I need new lenses and frames anyway, and found a very similar pair of frames to the ones I had repaired, and the out the door price he gave me with new lenses was easily 33% less than for the exact pair I paid for in California, so the second I can dig up my old prescription from my eye doctor in California, the team at Sunglass Emporium will most assuredly be making my new pair of glasses and all glasses and sunglasses for my family in the very near future. By the way, they took at least 20 to 25 minutes to repair my glasses (simply due to the complexity of the spring mechanism) and of course I wanted to pay for the repair, but they would not take a penny from me so they're definitely doing something right, and earned a future customer for life. What a wonderful surprise this place was! My husband's prescription eye glass frame arm broke (guilty). I called to see if they do repairs, yes bring them in. Just recently moved to Prescott and needed new sunglasses so I stopped in yesterday after work and as soon as I walked in was greeted and told to let them know if I had questions. Had such a great experience here just had to share! My husband bought a brand new pair of Costa sunglasses less than three weeks ago and absolutely loved everything about them. However somehow (he doesn't even know ) he broke the arm in half. He took them back and you were able to get him a brand new pair in exchange no questions asked. Now that is customer service! Took my brother in law there to look for some sunglasses. I had been there once before and impressed with the service that my wife recieved so we thought to take him there. While he was looking I decided that I would inquire about getting some lens replaced for my old costa de mars. After speaking with a person there and getting some advice for len colors I decided on amber polarized. It was actually cheaper than going through Costa for lens replacement and the great thing is that it only took about an hour! YEP!!! Buy cheap old designer sunglasses with scratched or prescription lenses, have these folks put some nice polarized lenses in for ya and bingo! You have sunglasses worth far more to you than those you would have gotten at NM. These people have great lenses! I'm sending them a pair of Chanel as I write this. When I get them back, I will have a pair of sunglasses that would easily be worth $400 and I will have less than $50 in them. Working with Sunglass Emp. is a smooth experience. Never had a problem. I had Sunglass Emporium replace some scratched lenses on a pair of Oakleys and make lenses for a pair of Persols because Persol didn't have any replacement lenses. Service was great and turnaround time was lightning fast. Lots of communication via phone and email from Aaron and Michael-Paul (the owner) to ensure I got exactly what I wanted and knew the prices beforehand. The Oakleys came out looking like a new pair because they changed the shade of the lenses, and the Persols also look brand new. They even tightened the frames, which had gone through the spin cycle of my washer. I would definitely recommend them for service. Wish they were closer so I could shop there, too. read more

This is my first review and the only reason I'm doing is this is because this place went above and beyond anything that I could have expected. First, this was one of the only places I could find that would fix my Persol lenses with authentic lenses. Second the price was very reasonable and finally the kicker was that the customer service was unbelievable.
