When contacting this merchant through the chat was being ignored because i wrote why is my card a medium risk and you're selling luxury eyewear get out of here, are you a scam? Sunglasses are now all of sudden out of stock right after because somebody from this company probably took them off of the website purposefully for me not to try 3rd time purchasing them. Wish there was a 0 for me to give this company. Why is this store using shopify is also my question.

Being the online shopper that I am, it was easier said than done because so many of these online sunglasses shops are peddling garbage. Most of the stuff listed... if it's high end, vintage, or both... there's a good chance they don't really have that stuff. It's a trap. I was thinking... this is a big city with some stylish people sprinkled in. There has to be something out there. Eye Chic was literally my last stop on this hunt. I didn't need to look any further. My particular interest was vintage shades... and they got it IN! After having a chat with the friendly ladies who worked there we came to an understanding about the scams pulled online. I even spoke to a guy at another store who doesn't sell vintage because there's no profit in it (for him). They're listed below market value because they don't really have them online. So here's my caveat. Having seen some of the most coveted styles people pretend to have online... in person here... was humbling. On the flip side, these shades are just as expensive as you'd imagine they would be. What do they have? To name a few brands... Cazal, Carrera, Ray Ban, Alpina, and Porsche. (All top shelf vintage priced accordingly $500+) On the plus side, they have a case that regularly has half off merchandise. I don't want people to think they'd be priced out. They have affordable options too... the same stuff you can find in King of Prussia department stores (which is nothing to sneeze at, but it's not AS expensive as collector's frames mentioned above). Did I buy anything? I would've liked to, but I'm still battling demons with this obsession I have. There were a few styles that I saw online and couldn't bring myself to not try everything in my power to get them. Would I support Eye Chic in the future? I'd love to. To me, this is what South St. USED TO be about. Somewhere somehow the strip fell off, but it used to have stuff that couldn't be found elsewhere. As far as I'm concerned it's a destination for hats, shades, and food. Overall, Eye Chic is official. If you're serious about eyewear then this is your place. PRO-TIP: They're connected. If you don't see whatever FLY vintage frames you're looking for, they might be able to get them... or maybe they already had them.

The item was delivered later than promised, which already caused an issue with my intended use. When the sunglasses arrived, I immediately noticed multiple problems: * Visible smudges and marks on the lenses upon arrival * The frame does not fold properly and sits uneven when closed * Branding placement, lens quality, and overall construction do not match authentic Cartier standards when compared to genuine Cartier eyewear I own Because of these concerns, I posted an honest review describing my experience. After that review was posted, I was contacted directly by the seller and asked to send the glasses back and remove my review in exchange for making them "perfect." Screenshots of this message are attached. Additional messages show the seller dismissing my concerns, suggesting we "move on," and offering a partial credit instead of properly addressing the defects and authenticity concerns. These screenshots are also attached. Rather than resolving the issues transparently, I felt pressure to remove my review as part of any proposed solution. This was concerning and unprofessional. Based on the late delivery, visible defects, fit and folding issues, authenticity concerns, and how the situation was handled, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution or avoid purchasing altogether.

I have been to about almost 10 spots at this point looking for a pair of glasses that would fit my big head and in each place I could only find 2-3 frames that look relatively decent. The staff at the other places are also not very passionate about their work. Even though this is one of the smaller optical stores that I have been, their selections of wider frames are a lot better. The staff behind the counter was very enthusiastic about finding me a pair of glasses that looks good on me. It makes the experience a lot better and he swore to give me his honest opinion. After asking me about my style preference, he was very accommodating about having me trying a few pair of glasses and at the end, I did get a pair of frames that I love. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, but then not a lot of people have a head as big as mine so I decided to put the word out here. I sure hope they do well.
