Despite having purchases several pair of shades at SGH, I find it hard to recommend this particular…read morelocation to anyone looking for a new pair. While the salesperson behind the counter was certainly very friendly, I was rather annoyed paying full retail for my "new" Oakley shades only to find out that the case was not included. While initially uncertain, the sales associate called his manager who informed him over the phone that the model I was purchasing did not include a case. Instead, he gave me one of the cheap drawstring bags to store them in. But to make matters worse, he yanked out the microfiber cloth that came with the free bag and stated that the cloth ALSO did not come with the purchase (WTF?!?!). Since the shades were floor models that had tons of fingerprints on them from countless people trying them on prior, I asked if I could have a fresh pair at least. To which I was informed that the ones on display were not floor models, but simply the ones that they sold. And that they didn't have anymore of the model I was purchasing. Yet no more than 30secs after ringing me up, I see the sales guy pull out another identical pair out of the drawer and place it on display. The real icing on the cake was when I went home and went directly to Oakley's website. Turns out, I could have purchased it from them directly for the same price AND it would have came w/ a hardshell case, a cleaning cloth, AND replacement lenses! Fool me once SGH....never again!

I have a vacation tomorrow and these glasses need to be adjusted correctly for my trip. I literally drove from the other place and straight to LensCrafters. Mimi was extremely helpful in getting them adjusted before my 14 hour flight and I can't be more grateful for her help. LensCrafters to the rescue once again!

I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with LensCrafters. During my eye exam, they…read morecompletely failed to identify that I needed progressive lenses. After getting my glasses, I quickly realized something was off and had to go back to have them remade. The second time around wasn't any better--they measured incorrectly, and when I picked them up, everything was still blurry. I pointed it out, and instead of fixing the issue, they told me to "wear them for a few weeks" so I could "adjust." That never happened. The only way I could see clearly was if the glasses were practically sliding down my nose, which is obviously not how they're supposed to fit. So I went back again to have them remade, only to be told that they "forgot to notate" my pickup date in their system. When they asked me when I got them and I said "about two months ago," suddenly it was outside their 30-day guarantee--and now I'd have to pay all over again. Completely unacceptable. Poor exam, incorrect measurements, dismissive service, and then they hide behind a technicality to avoid fixing their mistake. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere like Costco. You'll pay a fraction of the price (around $60 for lenses vs. $300+ here), and the service is actually competent. And if you do go to LensCrafters--don't let them convince you to "try them out." If something feels wrong, insist they fix it on the spot.
