I bought a pair of Dior sunglasses here in mid-December, and within the same week, one of the screws fell off. Since it had been less than a week--well within a 30-day window--I went back immediately with my receipt for a repair or assistance. To my surprise, the staff refused to help and told me I had to contact Dior directly. We casually walked in not really expecting to buy because my man & I are so picky when it comes to shades. However, we both don't leave the house without them every day. We both have our musts and our desired styles which makes it hard to find a pair every year. Kim asked us questions about what we like and what our preferences were and she quickly found me a pair in an unexpected but gorgeous color (Ray Ban Erika in purple/black). She also told us they were having a sale which motivated us to buy a second pair. After trying on almost all of the Ray Bans and not finding a pair, she told my man that he can customize a pair! She helped us use the custom tool in stores, got us both the discount & they came in the mail in less than a week! We are both so happy with our purchases! read more

This place is great!! My wife and I came in to have my wife's glasses adjusted. We bought them from Sunglass hut in Oakridge mall a few months ago and my wife thought they never really fit right. I asked Kim the sales associate if she could help adjectives them to fit a little better. And she delivered!! She heated the temples and adjusted the nose pads. My wife was excited to finally have her glasses fit. Kim was so helpful, fun and personable, and had some expert advice to help maintain the shape and structural integrity of the glasses. we couldn't have gotten better service!!! read more

I went in about a month ago since Sunglasses Hut offers a free service to replace your broken lenses if you bring new lenses. As the worker was replacing my lenses, she dropped it from the table and the new lenses cracked... She said she will order a new pair of lenses from Luxottica (where I originally purchased my new lenses) and to give her my contact information (name, email, phone number). So it's been a month and I have not gotten any messages through email or phone. I never got her name or when her shifts were. In other words, I've paid like $70 for replacement lenses just for it to be broken by Sunglasses hut and never heard back from them. read more

With this kind of place, the main criteria has to be "was I able to find a good pair of sunglasses while only bruising my wallet rather than depleting it entirely?" and the answer, this time, was yes. Despite the small size there were ample choices, and I was able to try on most of them (the ones I couldn't try on were too pricey anyhow). I also got a good sale on what was already one of the more affordable pairs, which helped ease the shock of finally graduating from CVS sunglasses (on which I have probably spent just as much considering the rate at which they fall apart; those things have gotten even cheaper than they were 10 years ago). I have been wearing this pair (sportyish, brand name of Revo) for several months now and it has held up nicely and worked well for both driving and hiking, which is when I usually use them). The frame is nothing fancy, but the lenses really are worth the cost. And I do have some kind of warranty, so that's nice too. I should mention that service wasn't amazing, as they basically ignored me until i was ready to buy. That said, I thought I would come in there and ask a lot of questions, but it worked out much better for me to just look for myself (with the aid of a friend, of course). There were other places in the mall where the workers were much more willing to help, but without the selection, they couldn't match up, unfortunately. read more

My wife and I strolled into this store last weekend and was immediately greeted by the sales person (Lauren i think...) who had a typical "i-dont-care" teenager like attitude. Moreover, in a very short span of time she completely proved her ignorance of any information or policy whatsoever regarding the establishment. I bought a pair of Ray Bans and asked her the return policy, noting that the only reason I would want to return that pair is if I see some other lower price on that in any other sunglass hut or Ray Ban website. To this she spoke like she knew it all, and educated me on how Sunglass Hut is part of Luxottica and how Luxottica owns Ray Ban brand, so Sunglass Hut owns Ray Ban. So there cant be different prices anywhere else, and if it was, they would price match. after i came home and did some online research, i found the real facts: fact 1: sunglass hut and ray ban are both owned by luxottica. so they are sister brands and dont own each other fact 2: although all sunglass huts have same price, the ray ban website was $10 lower on the same pair of glasses. that is because sun glass hut actually charges an implicit fee for their guarantee and replacement and maintenance policy. fact 3: sunglass hut does not price match tip for Lauren: drop the teeny act and get some true facts before you open your mouth the next time. read more

Michelle at Sunglass hut at Valley Fair was very nice and picked out some glasses for me to try. She zoned in on the quality and style and price point I was looking for and picked out some GREAT Maui Jim shades for me. They are simple and clean. Very solid feel to these compared to my $20 Costco specials I have been rocking for 3 years! They are pricey compared to throw away glasses but I plan to take care of these for the rest of my life. I am much more careful with these types of things than I was in my past and will cherish these with great care. With that said, I feel I was sold the display pair much like others here have been sold. Honestly, it does not bother me at all since they are very clean and no damage. Except for some of the silk print like the patent number is worn completely off. The area where it will wear when you put the shades on and off a bunch of times. This can only happen from being a display pair. other than the writing being worn off already, the hinges and pins are tight, the lenses are completely scratch free. I relate buying a 'used' pair of display glasses to buying a pair of shoes that many people have already tried on already. What's the difference? The glasses are fine, so no worries! It appears that Eric was way too occupied on his phone to help my wife and I. As we walked into the store he looked up at us and then back down at his screen. I figured maybe he was in the middle of something important so I gave it a few minutes. After my wife put two pairs of Aviators on the counter I initiated conversation and said "hello, we need to buy a few pairs of sunglasses". Eric replies with "ok" as if it was almost a bother. My wife tugged on my arm motioning me to leave but I needed to get at least one pair for an event first thing the next morning. All the female employees in there are bitches, including manager. Very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. They would come up with anything to refuse the return. I bought it last Sunday and try return it today (Sunday). It's only been a week..my wife didn't even wear it anywhere because it was raining all week. I would never stepped my feet in this store again and I highly recommend you to do the same. I went to another Sunglass Hut store and able to return it without any issue.
