I've been to this Warby Parker location multiple times to get glasses and went in today to get a new pair. I'm always welcomed immediately when I enter and the staff is always super friendly. Today in addition to getting new glasses I also needed my prescription sunglasses tightened and they did that for me while I looked at frames. There's always so many frames to choose from and the staff can help answer any questions as well as give suggestions on styles. It's always a quick and painless process to get my new pair of glasses ordered and they ship them to your home which is nice that you don't have to come back to pick them up! read more

I've been going to this Warby Parker for awhile as you can tell when I first left a review over 3 years ago. Last year, I came here, but I decided not to leave a review even if their customer service was bad. As I thought, maybe it was an off way. But today's experience was the same as last years. Today, I walked around to check out the merchandise. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I was in the store for about 10 minutes and no one checked in to see if they could help me. I love the eyewear of the brand which is why it is the place I get my glasses. It's wild to me that the same experience that happened last year happened today - no greeting, no one asked if I needed help. But the weird thing is they greeted other people and asked them they needed help. Two years in a row of no customer service is wild. I'm sorry, but it makes no sense there's no customer service when they have at least 4 employees in the store. Y'all are not that busy. One of them was even using the table in the center to do a few push ups LOL. Really I don't understand this location except they have no customer service here. Literally don't know why they ignore me here because they did welcome other people coming in. Is it how I look? I already knew I was going to get the same glasses from last year and my prescription is the same. Easy sale, but I suppose they didn't want the sale. I've been in here for 15 minutes now and even sat on the couch to see if anyone would help, but nope. At least, I had time to write this review. Trying to branch out on my style this year and was curious about Warby Parker. For this store -- very good experience. The styles were overall better and more modern that what I found at my usual of Target/Costco. Have not been that satisfied with some of the name brands there in terms of face fit. Found a nice apricot plastic frame and it came in different sizes so I hope that will help long term. It fits great now when I tried them on though. Good service. Warby Parker as an app/company -- not bad but not perfect... not complaining. Let me receive the final pair and I might update this review. The store itself is worth visiting. read more

Whew.. The last time I got frames from here was 2016. Fast forward to present day and I can't tell you how happy I was to not only see a familiar face from the OG crew (Fernando) but also some new faces to make me feel right at home. I walked in a few months back because I had been wanting to add another frame to my rotation. My current frames are a tad on the 'heavy' side and can't sit on my face for too long without them getting uncomfortable. They do however look really good. It's like wearing some high heels. They'll look amazing for the first few hours but if you're anything like me, you need to get them off your feet and slip into some tennis shoes. I needed glasses that fit like your most comfortable pair of tennis shoes. Since I didn't want to spend too much, I knew Warby was the place to go especially since I had such good service from them in the past. One of the best things in here is that everything is easily accessible to try on with the names and prices clearly printed for you right underneath each pair. Great lighting and mirrors surrounding you make it easy to see how you look. And the coolest thing here is the employees.. They are what had me coming back. On this occasion, it was Fernando, Antonio, and Patti who helped me pick out the frames that I absolutely love. I'm sitting here right now typing up this review on my laptop wearing them. What's so great about these guys? They're just genuinely nice. You know how sometimes you get the feeling that sales people are being nice just to sell you? Definitely not the case here as I wandered in and just kept grabbing frames to try on. Every other frame, I would politely ask them all for their thoughts and opinions. Antonio was the most vocal as he had very distinct likes and dislikes. They didn't get tired of me pulling frames off the shelves--- And when I asked to try on some that they didn't have on the sales floor, they were happy to do that as well. (I may have done this more times than I could count.) And here's the thing. I didn't even make a purchase the first time I came in. I came back 3 months later to finally buy. When I came back, they were so welcoming and helped me *again* to pick out frames since I found others that were in the running. Fernando, Patti and Antonio had the utmost patience for me. Antonio ended up closing the deal that evening and ordered the winning pair. Antonio said that it could take up to a few weeks for my glasses to arrive but it ended up only taking 5 days. Easiest transaction ever. I also have to mention Ella (another stellar optician) when I brought these guys cookies as my way of saying "thank you." Went here for desperately needed glasses frame adjustment. I had bought the glasses at Costco and had had them re-fitted several times at least seven times and still had pain over my left ear. I spoke with Dominic and he said he could adjust the glasses frames but that he could not guarantee that he would not break them, and that if he broke them they would not be covered. I told him I was sure he would not break them. After a couple of adjustments, Lo and behold, the glasses fit perfectly and I was out of pain for the first time in several months. I plan to buy my next pair of glasses here at Warby Parker at Santana Row. This is a good store for people who have mobility issues... The doors are wide the floor is open and they have very comfortable seating while you wait for your glasses to be adjusted. Highly recommend you try this store!! read more

My husband can't help himself to ordering Warby Parker glasses due to their low costs and new styles. We walked in to search for his next pair and were assisted by Kanishka. Per my last review, customer service has improved since 2017! Kanishka recommended styles along with the options that come with the new lens. He was also proactive about replacing my husband's nose pads which was super sweet; in fact, I didn't even realize that was a service Warby Parker provided. Kanishka entered my husband's information into the system and provided a link to him when he was ready to order (he needed to get his new prescription at the time). We placed the order and love the new pair. I feel it is necessary to give kudos where they are deserved. I highly recommend working with Kanishka when you're in search for your next pair. read more

The good: This location is in Santana Row. I didn't know Warby Parker even had a storefront. I've used Warby Parker to get my husband glasses and sunglasses before online but wanted to venture into the actual store so we could try on more than just the 5 "at-home try-ons." I like that they have options for wide fit, low nose bridge, and narrow faces. The workers were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The inside is modern, clean and easy to navigate. The glasses are organized by the type of fit and the prices are listed there for you upfront. The prices are affordable compared to other optometrist spots I've seen. The bad: The girl who worked there didn't know if there was any benefit to the iridescent sunglass shade versus the other colored ones. The interesting: They don't directly take insurance but they'll give you an itemized receipt with which you can ask for a reimbursement with insurance with. They have lots of unisex glasses and styles that are light and comfortable. read more

I swung by today to get some glasses made. I brought my prescription with me and as I stood at the center of the store, within 5 minutes I was greeted by an employee who listened to everything I was hoping for in glasses and set me up for a pair. Ella, I think that's her name, was incredibly helpful and fun to talk to. She was very patient, kind, and asked questions for specifics regarding what I wanted and took a copy of my prescription to add it to my file. I like how there's multiple employees at this location that are willing to help out, and are very knowledgeable regarding getting you set up with glasses. My experience was amazing, and because of that I'm already thinking about getting another pair of glasses through Warby. My last optometrist wasn't as easy to get glasses as it is here at Warby. They always have great customer service. I went in originally for a fitting and my mom ended up buying her own pair of sunglasses. I also got glasses repaired from six years ago- they warned me it was possible during the lens replacement process for the glasses to break but I took the risk and they ended up fine! Great place to get stylish glasses for an affordable price. I've gotten Warby Parker glasses for a few years now, and I've always been pleased with the quality as well as the variety of frames they have. Most of the time, I'll do the home try on from their website first and narrow down which frames suit my face. Then, after returning those I'll go into the store and do a final browse through, as well as try on the frames once more. The employees at this location are always very nice and attentive, and I did find a pair that I liked but wanted to try a different color, and they were able to find a pair for me to try on from their stock room which I appreciated. I usually order my glasses in person so they're able to measure my pupillary distance. Once you get your glasses, you can also come back for adjustments if you need them. I've come by a few times to get them adjusted, but the quality of the adjustment really depends on the person that's working that day. One time I had a perfect adjustment, but another time it really pinched my ears. In any case, adjustments are always free and if you have any issues with your lenses or frames, they are covered by some sort of warranty that Warby Parker has. If you need glasses, I'd definitely recommend giving Warby Parker a try. Parking is easy in the large garages at Santana Row. read more

Warby Parker has the best customer service (hands down) compared to any other online/in-store retailer. I ordered the glasses online and had a couple of problems with the frame fitting in my face. The online customer service lady recommended me to go to a random eye center, but when that didn't work I decided to go to directly to an in-store Warby Parker. The people inside were immediately able to figure out what was wrong with the frame and fit it to my face. The glasses fit so much better afterwards. Another great thing about Warby Parker is that you can go to any other school for a free cleaning and glasses tightening service. Every time I go to Santana Row, I make sure to go in and get my glasses cleaned. Also there are currently a lot of safety precautions in place for this location and they don't let anyone come in without making sure they have the proper staff to serve your specific needs. Micro scratches on my lenses are unacceptable. My present lenses have only been cleaned with the micro-fiber cloths provided by Warby Parker yet in less than one year I need new ones. This is my second pair that have become ruined. Either their polycarbonate lenses are much too soft or the anti-scratch film is the problem. I have worn glasses for more than fifty years with very few scratch problems but the Warby Parker lenses are decidedly substandard. In speaking with company representatives, I was made out to be the culprit, not their manufacturing. Although their stores meet the test for being "cool" and people are nice, the product needs to be reviewed my people with degrees in chemistry and optics. read more

I choose to go inside one of their brick and mortar stores but you can always choose frames to try on at home. You can chose up to 5 to try on. Then you send them back with your choice of glasses and receive a pair in less than a week and half. The absolute best part about purchasing from Warby Parker is their replacement policy. If you scratch your glasses within the year you automatically get a new pair. I've researched a lot of companies trying to find the trendiest yet economical pair of glasses that look good on me...hands down Warby Parker is the best! I made that sound like it was out of choice, but you can blame a familial history of nearsightedness and those Blockbuster Weekends playing MK3 to my dependency. Len$$$crafters, private optometrie$$, co$tco; you name it, I've been through the ringer with my last three pairs and beyond; but here it was as simple as bringing in a prescription and some lite data entry into an ipad. It helped that my associate Chris had the same Hudson pair in warm gold that steered me into the unique navy option. WP came highly recommended to me by a couple friends who've been wearing their glasses and singing their praises; but it's worth pointing out that their frames aren't really designed for Asian faces. I tried on just about all the frames in the showroom and finally found [literally one] frame that didn't immediately fall off my face. Price was reasonable, but once the final pair came in, the weight of prescription lenses causes them to slide down my face and brush against my eye lashes (requiring regular cleaning throughout the day). This really won't be a concern for western faces, but it is pretty annoying for people with flatter facial structures. I was in need of new glasses, but don't currently have vision insurance as I'm between jobs, so they're good enough for now, but once my new insurance kicks in I will likely get a new pair somewhere else and just keep these for back up. read more

I went to LensCrafters and they quoted me $430 for some ray-bans. Wasn't interested in dropping that much money. Heard about this place and decided to look. They have very limited types of sunglasses/ regular glasses but the prices are great! I went in, tried on the ones I liked, got told the ones I wanted were $225 (with rx on them) purchased them without hesitation and left all within 10 minutes! Wow, what a great experience in the store! I have walked by Warby Parker so many times while at Santana Row, but I never had a "need" to walk in until this past Saturday. My mom needed some new glasses and was browsing around. She saw a commercial on TV for Warby Parker, and I told her there was a location at the Row. So we went there this past weekend & boy, great customer service! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile & "welcome." Also, may I note their AC was on at a very nice level so it felt so good to walk in (especially during the heat wave!). I had fun trying on different pairs of sunglasses. In particular, I like the "Aubrey" pair. -- I didn't buy them yet, but may on my next shopping visit to the Row & VF. For my mom, she had fun trying on different pairs of glasses. I happened to check the address that Warby Parker (WP) listed as my address. They used my apartment number for my street address. Today they said. "IT HAS BEEN DELIVERED". I looked outside my door, outside in the rain, in my mailbox, NOTHING! Glasses are too overpriced. Advertising is meant to lure you in. Delivery is hopeless and in my case non-existent since it was to a wrong address, at first. Lenses were loose in the frame. They were wobbly. POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP. I had such a great experience with this store! I purchased a pair of glasses at this store about a month ago. However, the glasses I received had some issues. The main issue was that they made me feel dizzy. I felt the lenses were too strong even though the prescription was the same as my old glasses. So I went back to the store, and Greg helped me with the issues. He measured my PD and OC very carefully and re-ordered glasses with express shipment. The glasses I received, however, still made me feel dizzy. So I went back to the store. Greg confirmed that the lenses were made correctly and the prescription was the same as my old glasses. After checking my old glasses, he found that my old glasses had longer distance b/w my eyes and the lenses. So he adjusted nose pads of the glasses. I tired the glasses for a few days, but I still felt dizzy. Also, I noticed the right lens got eyelash scratches. I went back to the store again. I spoke with another staff about the issues while Greg was out for lunch. The staff also helped me with adjusting the nose pads and arms of the frame. Then Greg and another optician helped me with adjusting the nose pads copying my old glasses. They took time to adjust my glasses to make sure they worked for me. I felt bad that I went back to the store a few times for these issues, and I thought the glasses might not work for me. But they never looked annoyed or bothered. They tried to find causes of the issues. When I was leaving the store, I asked Greg when I needed to return the glasses by if they didn't work. He said don't worry about it. I tired the glasses in the past few days, and I don't feel dizzy anymore. I feel comfortable wearing them. They adjusted my glasses perfectly! I'm so happy that it worked out. I think my case was difficult because I have low-nose bridge and I need longer distance b/w my eyes and lenses due to my eyelashes. But Greg, the optician, and the staff put effort to make this work. I strongly recommend this store especially Greg. They provide great customer services. If I need another pair of glasses, I will definitely go back to this store! read more

I've been choosing Warby Parker frames for the past few years for their fashionable frames and reliability. I'd give 5 stars but need to take one off for their snippy sales reps who talk crap to each other about customers, as others have mentioned. Really unprofessional to do within earshot of customers. Their opticians are great though, and are the ones to consult for more important questions. It's a very corporate feel so you won't get a personable experience like at some boutique stores. But the stores are well staffed and very efficiently run, so getting prescription glasses is a smooth process. As long as they have reasonably-priced, fashionable frames, I'll keep returning but I wish they had more professional sales reps, or they need to pay them more so they're more motivated. Checked Glassdoor for their salaries :-( Getting new frames is a big deal for many, like getting a brand new car. I'd like to leave feeling excited about my purchase and NOT like I was an inconvenience. read more
