What makes this even more upsetting is that my family and I have made countless purchases from Sunglass Hut over the years, and it is extremely disappointing to see how we were treated during this visit. We went in so my mom could browse and try on frames she was considering for prescription glasses. We were approached by a sales representative named Kathy, who initially asked if we needed help. We politely told her we were just browsing and that my mom was still deciding. Just a couple minutes later, she approached us again and asked the same question. We again politely said we were okay and that my mom was simply indecisive and still looking. She came up a third time and continued to pressure my mom while she was actively trying on frames. My mom told her she was still deciding, but Kathy then took the frames directly out of my mom's hand and said, "Let me put that back for you," even though my mom was in the middle of trying them on. She then came over to me and took the frames out of my hand without me saying anything and said, "Let me put these back for you." This was extremely odd, uncomfortable, and inappropriate. We were clearly trying on the frames, yet she was physically removing them from our hands without our permission. It made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. As people of color, this interaction felt especially troubling and made us question whether we were being treated differently. After this disturbing interaction, we decided to leave the store because I told my sister that I felt very uncomfortable being there. My sister, however, went back inside to calmly ask the employee for her name. The employee said her name was Kathy, but then suddenly began yelling at my sister at the top of her lungs, saying, "What is wrong with you?" This was shocking, aggressive, and completely unprofessional behavior. We entered the store as respectful, loyal customers who have supported this company for years and were genuinely interested in making another purchase. Instead, we were treated in a way that made us feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and unwelcome. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope Sunglass Hut management takes this seriously and ensures that customers are treated with professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy.

I'm so glad I stopped into this shop. The wide variety is hard to come across in Vegas and there's no way I would have gotten them back with prescription lenses in 24 hours.

At first, I thought maybe I had simply encountered a bad employee or an unfortunate situation. After my experience this weekend, I genuinely believe the bigger issue is that Ray-Ban has completely abandoned this location when it comes to proper training, support, and management. The two employees working there honestly looked like they had been left on a sinking ship with no one coming to help. They seemed overwhelmed and, more importantly, they clearly weren't equipped or properly trained to handle what should have been a basic transaction. How can you expect employees to provide good customer service when they aren't even given the tools or training to properly do their jobs? What makes this even more disappointing is that I don't necessarily blame the employees themselves. It felt like they were put in a position to fail. The responsibility falls on Ray-Ban and whoever is managing this location. I came in fully prepared to give Ray-Ban my money, but the experience was so frustrating that it genuinely made me question whether I even wanted to purchase from the brand anymore. Ray-Ban is a well established, recognizable company. You've built the name and the reputation, but that shouldn't mean you can stop caring about the people walking into your stores. I'm honestly in disbelief that a company of this size would allow a retail location to operate this way, especially when the Google reviews appear to show a consistent pattern of customers having similar experiences. This isn't just about one bad interaction. It's about feeling like the company simply doesn't care. Ray-Ban, please do better. Your employees deserve better support, and your customers deserve better service.

My 1st ever review :) I found sunglass plus on yelp and I made my way in because I have a "graveyard "of broken sunglasses (6pairs) in various Conditions. Some just needed screws some needed adjusted and the others needed lenses. They were able to fix ALL but one right there in the store, the ones that needed lenses they custom made for me after showing me a bunch of lens options and colors. I was able to pick them up the same day and the price was very reasonable. The last one did need be sent out to be soldered, it took a few days but it came back as good as new! The older man who works there couldn't have been nicer. Although I did not purchase my glasses there this time, I will never go any where else. (I found out while I was there that they have been in this location for more than 17 years, what a hidden gem) read more

I stopped by Saturday to get a couple of sunglasses repaired. The gentleman behind the counter said give me a few minutes. I started looking at the new sunglasses and they have a very large and well stocked selection. The gentleman came out from the back room and said your glasses are ready and bill was a lot less than I thought it would be. Excellent Service! Excellent Selection! Excellent Prices! They have a huuuge selection, all the top manufacturers, and top notch customer service (which in my opinion is always the deal breaker). More sunglasses than I needed to choose from almost too many lol. Being able to compare style next to style on my face and walking out with a pair is better than onlining it. Plus they quick fixed my old pair on the spot for cheap, so I have them as a backup I leave in the car. read more
