A HUGE THANK YOU TO HAMID AND LEIGHANN!!! I had been sick for a week and upon my return to the office (on a Saturday) I found my computer/reading glasses were missing. Ugh! I headed over to Sunglass Plus and they pulled my prescription up and ordered new lenses for me asap. I was afraid it would take a long time and cost $$$$, but to my surprise I picked them up on Wednesday at lunchtime and not only were they super fast, but also affordable! And, Monday was a holiday! We came down from Palm Springs for a few days and I've been wanting to replace my lost Maui Jim's. Looked on Yelp bc we always like to support the local businesses wherever we go. This is like a candy store for sunglasses. They have very brand you would be familiar with and others maybe not. There are no knock offs here. The Scottish woman (didn't get her name and the manager who fits the glasses if needed couldn't have been nicer and patient. With all the choices I did look at others beside Maui Jim's but we both settled on Maui Jim's. We golf and they are great for golfing and being outdoors. Best lenses I've ever had. And we're heading to Hawaii in June all the better. If you can't find what you need here, you won't find them anywhere. Their selection is vast. Both employees were extremely knowledgeable and encouraged us to walk outside to see how the felt outdoors. Don't waste time at Sunglass Hut or others like them. This store is a gem. We must have tried 20 different pairs. Never felt rushed or like staff was growing impatient, quite the opposite. When I need sunglasses again I will definitely drive down from Palm Springs. What a doll Hamid is!! He fixed a pair of my Chloe sunglasses after the lens fell out. He then showed me where one of the nose cushions was missing. I didn't even notice that but he replaced both cushions and put the lens back in while I waited and they feel like their brand new again!! He did this with kindness and for a wonderful price of $10!! I found Sunglass Plus on Yelp while looking up "Sunglasses Repair". This place so happened to be closest to my house so I stopped by after work. I walked in, showed the man behind the counter (owner maybe?) my sunglasses, and asked him for a quote for fixing my crooked Warby Parker sunnies. He saw them, said "Oh, I know what happened, took them into his back room, and fixed them in less than 5 minutes. After he came out of his back room, I asked him how much the service would be and he said "nothing today" with a big smile. I couldn't believe it! He doesn't even sell Warby Parkers in his shop and he did this totally complementary. You don't find that sort of kind service anywhere. I told him I'd tell everyone about him on Yelp so here I am now letting the world know of Sunglass Plus. Come on down! They have a huge selection of prescription and sunglasses. Went in for the first time today as I was in need of new sunglasses. I had my current pair with me as I wanted something similar. Hamid was very helpful when I walked in asking what I was looking for, and proceeded to take me to the different areas that had some glasses similar to what I showed him. The lady running there is very helpful and just seems to know what you're asking for by the case and really is patient with you!
