Holly helped me pick out a pair that I normally wouldn't have chosen, and I love them! She was very patient with me. I liked how they carry brands that are not owned by the big monopolies of LensCrafters, VSP, and EyeMed. Every time I come in, Holly not only knows me by name, but she remembers my favorite color and shows me the newest frames. Recently I got a new pair of glasses and there were issues with them. This place is awesome!!! They don't allow you to waste your time on eyewear that won't fit face or head; example being I have a small head and I was steered away from big frames. They want what is best for you and your eyewear needs, if you do a lot of computer work, like I do, they advise anti-glare as part of your lenses. I have found my glasses go to company. Today was my second visit to Newport Eyewear. A few weeks ago I accompanied an older friend to an ophthalmology appointment in the same building and her eyeglass lens fell out. The ophthalmologist's office (they don't dispense eyeglasses) sent me downstairs to Newport Eyewear for help. I was immediately approached with a smile. The lens was reinserted and the glasses were cleaned and returned to me with a smile. Today my friend's eyeglass temple broke completely from the frame and was badly bent. Without an appointment, we walked into Newport Eyewear, explained the need and handed over the broken glasses. Less than five minutes later we were handed a functional pair of glasses, the optician fitted them on my friend's face, and we were on our way. We were met both times upon entering the office, welcomed with a smile, and my friend's needs were expertly taken care of. The office is bright, beautifully decorated, chairs comfortable, and the frame selections are extensive. I'd go here again in a heartbeat. read more

I walked by the store front at Newport Eyewear, and loved a pair of sunglasses; I left the building and couldn't stop thinking about that pair. However I live in LA and wasn't easy for me to go back, so I looked up the number called and asked Joanie, if she could text me a photo of the front display to see if the glasses were still there. I am very insecure about choosing frames that suit me; I know I can drive someone crazy with my indecision. But Ron had the patience of a saint, and he was very honest with me. Every frame he chose for me was great and suited me, and even after I made my decision, he continued to suggest frames until he was sure I had the best pair possible. I'm so happy with them! This hidden gem. What a large selection of eye wear and sunglasses. I found them on my way out from an appointment and was glad they took VSP insurance as I needed a new frame. I worked with Joanie to select mine and it was a true pleasure. Extremely helpful l, honest and professional.
