My instincts were correct and Dr. driver stated I did not have a RA but extensive OA. Dr. driver was on time, took the time before meeting with me to review all of the medical records I had brought with me and then had a thorough meeting with me. She listened to me attentively, did a complete physical examination of me and then discussed my medical records, and my medical history before giving me her diagnosis and a plan. All of her staff are amazing, not just the front office, but also her MA Yvette. I have continued to see Dr. driver for my severe osteoarthritis. When I need to see her in person I can if I don't need to see her in person I can do a video appointment which is amazing and very productive for a busy professional like me. I simply cannot recommend Dr. Drive highly enough, she is kind, caring, professional and an outstanding physician. Qualities not easily found these days in anyone especially doctors.

He diagnosed her with Parkinson's and has been treating her for several years. I always had a feeling that this was not the correct diagnosis. He had her on so many meds. I continued to voice my concerns, letting him know that I feel like there is something else going on. My first interaction with Dr. Martinez was in the waiting room. He was walking by as my mom as she was trying to walk with her walker. He shouted at the top of his lungs, "that is not a back problem, that is a brain problem" It was so unprofessional and embarrassing. He is extremely loud, obnoxious, and very unprofessional. This should've been my warning. My mom got progressively worse so I decided to take her to UCI where we saw two different neurologist that were also professors. Both doctors agreed that she definitely does not have Parkinson's that there is something completely different going on. I trusted Dr. Martinez. When I would voice my concerns, he would blow me off. I could never get a hold of anyone in the office. I would on occasionally receive a call back from Vanessa, PA, who was always incredibly rude and arrogant, and looked down upon us. I repeatedly told her that my mom had symptoms that were not related to Parkinson's. Her only solution was constantly telling me to give her more and more Parkinson's meds. The neurologists at UCI have been absolutely incredible. I finally found her a proper diagnosis and treatment with professional doctors. I wish would've done this sooner. I arrived 5 minutes early, only to be turned away because I wasn't there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork I never received. I wasn't late. I wasn't no-showing. I was on time -- and still denied care. No one took accountability or made any effort to resolve the situation. Just a cold, "we cannot see you," with zero empathy or professionalism. If this is how they handle new patients, I can't imagine what ongoing care would be like. Total waste of time and a deeply frustrating experience. Avoid if you can !
