Love stopping by SunLife Organics on the way to the beach. The smoothies are consistently top-notch and never disappoint. My go-to orders are the Wolverine and the Yogi (without the prebiotic booster). I usually get the Wolverine with whole milk instead of the almond milk on the menu, and it's hands-down one of the best smoothies I've had. The customer service is excellent as well. On my last visit, they made a little more smoothie than would fit in the cup. Rather than throwing it away, they poured the extra into a smaller cup and gave it to me. It's a simple gesture, but it says a lot about how they treat their customers and how they value their product. Great smoothies and friendly staff. One of my favorite açaí spots in LA. I've literally never been disappointed by this location. Their açaí is always so good and the smoothies are too. I especially love the million and billion dollar smoothies, and the mint chocolate one is also really good. Everything tastes super fresh. My usual order is the Buddha Bowl with no chocolate drizzle, no honey, and extra peanut butter. I get it every time. Thick base. Really good toasted granola. Cocoa nibs, coconut flakes, fresh strawberries, blueberries, and banana. The people here are also always sweet and happy. Service is great. It's also in such a nice little spot. There's a cute fountain right outside that I swear is never actually on, but it's right across from the Commons, so it's perfect if you want to grab your smoothie or bowl and walk around a little after. read more

Went in for two smoothies and waited 25 minutes before we noticed a trainee was making our smoothies incorrectly and the supervising employee was just freestyle trying to fix them by adding random ingredients. We saw our smoothies being blended for the 3rd time and adding ingredients that are not supposed to be in the smoothies to try to get the color right, so I think this place could be pretty dangerous if you have food allergies. And the smoothies won't taste the same visit to visit. There was a typical plastic surgery Calabasas old guy with his Porsche in a handicapped spot who came in barefoot, which is not appreciated. We managed to get a refund and the employees were friendly, but the high prices they charge do not translate to high standards for the business. read more

They happened to be under construction at the time I went in but if its upcoming design is anything like their other spaces, seating isn't going to be much of a thing. So tired of the inconsistency. The items on the menu are too pricy for the employees to continue to not be consistent with good prep. For example: I order the avocado toast frequently sometimes it comes with several slices straw berries and today they gave me 3! I wanted to love Sunlife Organics but it did not live up to the hype. I paid $30 for an açai bowl and a matcha. It was very hectic and chaotic inside. Luckily, it smelled nice and there was an assortment of crystals around the shop as well as goodies like, snacks, books, etc. The açaí bowl was mid.. like comparable to Jamba Juice.. and the Matcha strawberry latte I probably should've returned because it tasted of sour coconut milk and I ended up throwing it away. Usually SunLife is good but yesterday's experience made me knock two stars off for both wait time and smoothie quality. I ordered the Alchemist for myself and then went to Hanks to order an egg sandwich to go for my husband. My husband's sandwich from Hank's was ready 10 minutes before the Alchemist smoothie was ready. That's insane. It's just blending ingredients together. I know they have online orders but I saw several people working and there were only a few customers in person. I usually order online but because yesterday the website was trying to make me create an account, I decided to just order in person. I suggest ordering online if you can because it seems like they prioritize that since it has to be ready at a specific time. The smoothie was really awful too. The mango didn't blend in and it was basically just vegetables/herbs blended and chunks of mango floating around. The person was rushing to make it. He was kind and I felt bad for him being so rushed. It seems like whoever is managing this location needs to organize people better because there was no method to the madness. People who were blending were also at the cash register and then like other workers would come out and do multiple things at once and I feel like it would be a lot more efficient if everyone had one area to man. The bowls at the Calabasas Road location are inferior compared to other Sunlifes. Each time I come and place the same order, they make it differently. Sometimes they leave unblended frozen fruit or powder in the bowl. Sometimes the acai is soupy. Sometimes it's OK. Upon arrival I saw there were only two staff at that time, which I can understand why they were slow. I wanted to give this location a try because I been to the Malibu but so far both locations have made me feel uncomfortable and disappointed in their service.
