Just moved to the area and this was a nice find! My girlfriend and I split the breakfast burrito with bacon which was really good! I do wish there was more bacon but the flavor was good especially with the side chipotle aioli. We also both got the matchaga which had great flavor! The vibes are pretty good there and have both indoor/outdoor seating plus WiFi so probably good place to do work! Workers were nice and helpful with ordering!

I've been wanting to try this place out but was a bit hesitant of this location because of the reviews, well I went in at 11ish this morning and it was busy but my drink came out quickly. I got an iced strawberry matcha with macadamia milk to give it a little extra creaminess. The taste was there, matcha was good and the strawberry gave it some sweetness. Inside has plenty of seating, small outside patio too but with it at the village there are plenty of places to sit outside too. Service was great, fast and easy ordering. Lots of options and alternative milk options to choose from (no extra charge).

I've been to the other location in Studio City and it wasn't great. This one just opened in the Village and I have it some time before trying it to let them settle a bit. Still not impressed!! We stopped by last night about 40 minutes before they closed and were surprised to still see a couple of people sitting inside with their laptops and such. The interior decor in here felt like a retro diner. Ordered after the guy in front of me, just a basic iced latte without ice because I wanted to save it for the next morning. Drink came out a few minutes after I ordered and I tasted it in the car, my mistake. I should've tried it when I got it because it needed an extra shot or something. It was lacking flavor and just overall tasted watered down. I still drank it at work the next morning but not sure if I'll be coming back. Especially for an $8 drink? Idk.. IG: @ammysalamii

We are very excited that a new coffee shop is at the village. My daughter and I came in this afternoon to give it a try, we both had the mint mocha coffee, which was delicious! It was very busy, but the line moved quickly. There was seating inside and outside we decided to stroll through the village drinking our coffee. All the staff was very nice and courteous, one of the staff members was walking around inside cleaning up, making sure everything looking nice.

Alfred's for me is a hit or miss sometimes. While ive had their coffee a few times and didn't love it this time it was surprisingly very yummy! We got the maple latte with cloud and strawberry lemonade for my daughter. Both were very good and so was the crossiant. The gentlemen that was helping me at the register was super friendly and nice and even made suggestions for the drink.

I have been to a few other Alfred's - new and old. Today, I decided to check out the Topanga village location! I believe it's been open a week or so. I got the strawberry matcha and my sister got the lavender. - I used my gift card and it did not go through, when I was looking at the balance on my phone. Anyway - it wasn't THAT busy, it took about 5 mins for my sisters drink....and then for some reason, mine took another 10 mins? Which I'm not sure why. All other locations have their process and this was alllll out of order. I saw I wasn't the only one. The staff was friendly but could have been better? I'll probably be back, but will order online so I know (hopefully) my drink will be ready by the time I get there LOL.

I was excited to find out that the new Alfred opened at The Village! When I visited, I was surprised by how many people were inside getting work done on their laptops (especially since it was New Year's Day). Luckily, the line was short and my order came out quickly. It was a nice day out so I sat at their outdoor tables which was perfect for enjoying my drink. I ordered the iced matcha latte and it was really good!

Went today for the grand opening to check out Alfred Coffee, in the former spot of Coffee Bean. It's small but quaint and clean. A decent amount of seating inside but don't expect like a Starbucks experience. Some seating outside though. I got the matcha chaggacino with oat milk. Just 12 oz though as I don't think I can handle any more with the espresso involved. Delicious and feel the caffeine rush. Wife got strawberry matcha latte and she liked it. The orders were done ahead of the expected time and placed in the pick up section as we did it via online order on the app to get the discount for first time users on the app. I like the pastry selection, def different from Starbucks and coffee bean. Next time I'll get the cinnamon croissant or vegan carrot cake. All in all a welcome addition to the village.

As a huge Alfred's fan & someone who even went to the grand opening of this location, I'm quite disappointed at how the service has been here. I think more training is needed before I decide to come back. Coffee ground were stuck to the bottom of my cup, the actual coffee tasted light, syrup was just sitting at the bottom, and it took almost 20 mins for coffee to come out. This is built within a business hub of Woodland Hills so of course so many of us are coming during our short lunch breaks. Would've helped if their app would work, but it was just randomly closed starting at 11 am... Really hope things can get fixed here.

I was excited waiting for Alfred's to open up after months of construction and have been deeply disappointed. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews but something is definitely off with their coffee. It tastes almost sour like. My coworker surprised me with coffee to try to make up for the first bad experience during their soft opening and it was nearly as bad. Ended up at the nearest Starbucks to make up for the bad coffee. Their steak burrito is alright, nothing special about it and considering the price it's very plain. Alfred's, please follow up with this location for quality control.

It is nice and roomy inside. Service was good. Price is high...but I think because you are paying for quality, but for a small it is expensive. This is would be my occasional place to come. This was the former Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location as we used to come here before Costco open. We didn't order any food, so I can't review that.

Been availing the opening of this Peet's location. Awesome coffee shop. Ordered my favorite Lavender iced latte. Delicious latte. Service was very good. This Peet's decor has a different color scheme than the one on Ventura blvd. Both are cool. Perfect addition to the village walk. I believe the parking is free for an hour and a half. Cool vibe here.

The service is extremely slow and the coffee taste horrible. No customer service skills and they all seem as if they don't want to be there.

We saw & Waffles on Yelp and decided to walk down her from the coffee shop, which was maybe a 1/4 away from each other. Once we arrived, outside you're greeted by a nice waffle with wings mural, and inside a bustling establishment. With a hostess at the front and a cheeky "(Christopher) Walkers only" sign. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes uses to be seated and then sat in the bar area if the restaurant. We ordered the following: Cajun chicken & waffle Baja Omelet w/eggs whites and side of fruit The dishes were huge; especially the Cajun chicken & waffles. But best, the food was delicious, and worth the stop in. Overall: Great food, great staff, popular spot. Would definitely come back if in the area ever again, and needed a bite to eat.

I had the grilled salmon salad with lettuce, avocado, and cucumber. It was fresh, healthy, and really tasty. My wife had the avocado toast. I understand it's hard to keep everything clean when a restaurant is busy, but this time the place was almost empty. There were food crumbs on the floor around our table and some tables still had leftovers on them. It wasn't very pleasant while eating. I'll probably come back because the food is worth it. If the restaurant is cleaner next time, I'd be happy to give it more stars.

It's a few doors down from Blue Bottle and offers a quaint outdoor seating area to drink in the sun's Vitamin D rays beneath the patio umbrellas. You might've seen their mobile bakery food truck by farmers markets in Torrance and Mar Vista or around Culver City with their signature, artisanal loaves, pastries, and giant cinnamon rolls. After all, they're known for their daily, freshly-baked breads like the Seeded Grain, Country Sourdough (it's naturally-leavened), Jerusalem Bagel loaf, crusty Baguettes, and a Brioche Challah that's specially baked on Fridays. You can find a variety of deli favorites, avocado toast, salads, and shakshuka on their menu. At its core, Lodge is a fusion of classic bakery goods meets Middle Eastern heritage. Everything is baked in their intimate kitchen and the staff is super nice & helpful. Of course, it's me so I deliberated between the shakshuka or a bread-y deliciousness long enough to have my friend just choose for me. She chose wisely! The Veggie Sammie was chock full of yum, wholesome goodness, and nature's vitamins to soothe my achy-broken arm. With gratitude, I indulged in their freshly-baked seeded-grain piled high with avocado, sprouts cucumbers, tomato, lettuce & shmeared with a zesty pepper aioli + a pickle on the side. It hit the spot, despite me not being hungry. Our order was #86 and it was a gentle reminder that thankfully, I only broke my arm, and not my neck. So I can return next time to enjoy their shakshuka--or avocado toast.
