Cleanings every 4 months and my teeth still would come out. One by one. This year I lost 6 teeth. She has been professional and explains how she believes we should treat my problems. I don't always agree and I am given a choice. She is stern and tells you what you should be doing with your teeth. I want to keep the ones I have left. She does not baby you or sweet talk you, yet she if very friendly. She is upfront with costs and procedures. She let me stretch my payments out so I could afford treatment. I would never suggest anyone to see Dr Yoon. She gave me a root canal and said everything was all clear. She didn't give me antibiotics long enough to clear any infection I had. Not only that, but they wrote my prescription under another patient's name. A male at that. Back to the tooth, the infection never went away, I ended up having to get it pulled. She makes you sign a bunch of paperwork before work gets done, while sitting in the chair, and she makes you put a payment down so she can force you to come back for treatment. It's been a while since I've been there, but speaking with other patients of hers, makes me realize she does this to a lot of people. Although I just started seeing Dr. Yoon, I have to say how impressed I am with her and her office. First thing I noticed was the high level of commitment to cleanliness and infection control. The staff was properly gowned, gloved and masked. In addition each treatment room is its own contained unit with ultra filtered water, hogh efficiency air filtration unit and sterilized suction devices and hoses. Next, has to be her friendly patient centered approach. She treats you in a manner you would treat anyone you respected. We went over every aspect of my dental health, explained everything she saw during her assessment and patiently explained all of my options. I found her to be both kind and knowledgeable which secured her position as my primary dentist. It's been linger than I care to recall how long it has been since I last said that. UPDATE. My crown fell off recently and my root canal is infected. My newer, more experienced dentist told me they messed up the procedure and shaved down my tooth too much to even properly hold a crown. Now I have 3 options, do nothing and deal with it, get a reverse root canal and a new one added with a new crown which may not even work out because Sunni shaved down my tooth too much or get rid of the remaining tooth and root canal entirely and leave bare or get a fake tooth. Good job sunni. You're only good for taking peoples hard earned money. read more

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Sunni Yoon for almost 4 years. I first came to Dr. Yoon in 2020 after facing a dilemma with my lower anterior implant bridge. The bridge was misshapen, slanted and the shade did not match the color of my teeth. It looked very unattractive and I was embarrassed to open my mouth. I wanted the bridge replaced but I was not confident I would get better results with next one. Dr. Yoon reassured me that she could make a new one that I would be happy and satisfied with, so I entrusted her with the task. I was really impressed with Dr. Yoon's work and amazed by the results. Not only was she able to align the bridge with my teeth and make a perfect color match , after she installed the bridge she customized the teeth with lines and grooves to make them appear just like my real teeth. I posted my comment at google review and wanted to do the same here. First impression when you walk in is how clean and hygienic office is. Dr. Yoon has air purifiers throughout work stations. My husband had several issues stemming from years of neglect before coming to Dr. Yoon. One of the main issue was loose front teeth and inflamed gum line. She worked diligently to deep clean and bring his gum line to normal state over several months. She then bonded his loose teeth together to propped them up and to stabilize them. She was very open and knowledgeable through out the procedures which put my husband at ease. I've been a patient of Dr Yoon for about 2 years now. I never had a problem until I noticed my dental bill had some questionable billing codes. I work in healthcare too as a provider and am somewhat familiar with codes. I go in every 3 months due to periodontal disease. On several of her billing receipts, I get charged consecutively for "comprehensive oral exam" and "periodic periodontal maintenance). A comprehensive exam involved more than just "looking at the teeth." Should also include the probing. I also checked in with my dental friends who mentioned that comprehensive oral exam isn't usually done every 3 months, but every other 3 months. She didn't even do a comprehensive exam at every visit I have been too. I would ask each time, what do these charges mean and what is the dentist actually going to do. My husband has also seen her and had a root canal done. Dr yoon wanted to focus on other things. She did do the root canal, but it did not help with the pain (pain came back). She seems to bill everything to the insurance so she can get paid more. We are planning to see a different dentist. But do question Dr Yoon's billing practices! read more

My family and I have been a patient of Dr. Yoon for many years. Saturday, I had an older crown pop off in my mouth. Lucky for me I didn't swallow it. I left a message on their phone that day and let her know what the issue was. I got a call from Dr. Yoon at 6:55am Monday morning asking if I was ok and that she would fit me in that day if necessary. But if I could wait until Tuesday that would be better.
