When I got there I tried them on in the store and the lady who took care of me, I believe was the owner. She was very nice, but I got the impression that I was not a priority to her. She pinned the jeans up and marked them, then I changed, she put the jeans on the counter and didn't even write up a ticket. Instead she wrote my name in a notebook on her counter and then told me it would be $14.99 and they would be ready in 2 weeks - someone would call me when they were ready. 4 weeks passed - no phone call. So I called and this old lady answered the phone and she had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about my jeans. She laid the phone down on the counter and left me on hold for over 5 minutes before she came back to the phone and said they were done and I could come and get them. The next day I came to pick them up and the same old lady was at the counter and I gave her my name and she disappeared in the backroom and was gone a long time before she came back with my jeans. I was very disgusted, by then, and she must have been able to tell because she said "Is there anything wrong, dear.?" I said, "never mind", and I walked out. I think this shop is probably perfect if you have a special event and need a prom dress, or tux to be altered. That seems to be the customer base they give their attention to. But I won't go back there. I didn't feel like a valued customer and it was a miracle I got my jeans back - 4 weeks later!

When my mother dropped off the dress she was told it would take 2 weeks. After two weeks and no response she called the store to check the status and was told the dress was no ready but was told it would be ready soon and to "not worry". A few days had passed and still did not receive a phone call. Finally my mother called again on the day of my sister's homecoming and was eventually told the dress was ready. Talk about waiting until the last minute. The quality of the work was fine but it would be nice to have the items back by the time they were promised to be ready by. She waited until the last minute to complete the dress and if anything unexpected were to pop up that prevented her from completing it than my sister would not have had a dress for her first homecoming dance. I'd be terrified to leave something with them that was for anything more important than a simple high school dance, such as a wedding. If you do plan on having her alter anything, especially if you absolutely need it by a certain time, I'd just lie and tell her you need it a week earlier than you really do. Just to be sure.
