Shady company... Booked a stay a year in advance through Airbnb and 2 month before the stay they tried to have us cancel the booking?! They hid their intentions through Airbnb messaging and had us contact them through the phone to have US cancel the booking. Oh the reason why? Because the property owner no longer wants to host it?? They tried to hide this issue through Airbnb and wanted us to cancel so that they wouldn't get penalized on Airbnb. We tried to work with them too. But when you book a Yearly in advance and already paid for the booking. That's money you've lost that could have went to other things. That's bookings you could have found for a better price in advance. 2 month out everything is already booked and are limited. They simply did not care and only offered a refund. lol yeah we reported them on Airbnb and hope no one else ever goes through this shady company. If you're wrong, own up to it and Resolve it. DO NOT GO THROUGH SUNN DAYS. Saving you time and horrible experience. Where do I start: 1. Dead ants on kitchen counters and walls (had to wipe them down myself so my kids don't touch it) 2. Ants infestation problem that did not resolve the with them coming multiple times during our stay. 3. The so called professional was just a management person coming to spray they ordered from target and the spray did nothing they came back. And I don't mean a few ants I mean a trail of ants going underneath the sofa. So you can just imagine wtf was underneath there that there was a whole colony. 4. When another so called professional came next day they were about to set some type of spray where you could not go in the house for 24 hours. If we hadn't crossed paths we wouldn't even know. Luckily our kids had to use the restroom for us to cross paths with this other individual and he had no idea and he said the kids could not be around this spray. 5. Found dead bugs on the pillow which again i had to pick up bec kids screaming over it. Why are there dead bugs on the pillow to begin with?!? I have no idea. 6. The kitchen was dirty hair in the multiple areas in the kitchen and plates and multiple dishes not clean and utensil dirty. The point of this stay was that especially by the beach it should be relaxing and not cleaning another house so you can cook. We couldnt cook bec of every dish had to be cleaned and we didnt want to make the ant problem worse bec it was bad. 7. Used shampoo and conditioner from previous stay (honestly i wouldnt even care about this but just how dirty the place i wouldnt be surprised if they put water in it or how old it was) With all this being said we requested a refund bec we first ask them to accommodate us else where they said they didnt have anything. We would have left earlier but we had no refundable to tickets for the zoo so we stayed but didnt cook and ate outside as the house bec nothing was sanitary. I spoke of a refund request i was only offer 100 dollars and 5 percent discount. The sad thing is i am returning customer at the same location so you know i had a pleasent time the first time to rebook. But they down playd our stay say "some ants" when you clealry have other issues. You lost my business and reporting you to airbnb bec you advertise your stay there. I stayed at the ocean hideaway. Not sure why they're saying they spent an hour on the phone with me, they spent 11 minutes day of the incident and 15 minutes after. The carbon monoxide detectors did not work on site, and the guest on the adjoining property did not have hot water the last half of their stay because the water heater was turned off and the other guest affected by the gas leak was no vacated by the company after they were aware of a gas leak. What a wonderful cottage! We are so happy to have stumbled upon this! It is in the heart of wine country, surrounded by several beautiful vineyards. Quaint and private location, but a quick drive into town for several grocery stores, restaurants and a mall. The home is beautiful. The ambient lighting was fabulous! The bathroom was incredible- I will probably purchase those mirrors for my home!! The kitchen was fully stocked, and we felt right at home. We would love to return. This review is long overdue as I've been contacting Colt weekly since the disastrous stay in Ventura. No reply! This was in September. I was reading some reviews that the home had a spiral staircase and that for people who are older, just ask for a key, there are two separate walkways to the yard, and so I called Loni at Sunny Days (do yourself a favor stay away from her too). She said, you can't count on reviews and that there is no key. I got there and sure enough there was a lockbox and there was the key. She didn't even apologize and always made me feel like she could care less about giving any customer service and made me feel like I was bothering her. Things went way downhill from then. We got into the house at 5:!5, we were allowed in at 4. p.m and as we walked in the cleaning lady startled me as she was walking out. WHAT WAS SHE DOING THERE STILL? SHE SURE WASN'T CLEANING. I asked the manager Cory, what was she doing there so late. No answer. IT WAS FILTY. I am attaching photos of my foot after walking on the floor. The downstairs patio outside our bedroom spelled ENTIRE OF URINE. The kitchen was still dirty. I called right away to have me routed to another home, they declined and offered to have someone come and clean the home. I told them I don't want to have someone here as I have a service animal and we can't leave the home and I don't want someone in there with my belongings. So instead they brought me a Swiffer so I can clean it myself. I spent the entire week cleaning the house. (Just what everyone wants to do on vacation). Things got way worse. On the third night as we were going to bed, I saw that we had two sheets in the bed, I lifted up the sheet and on one side was a "blood stained sheet" and on the other " a poop stain". I was ENRANGED and contact them and again LONI answered and said, "if you don't like it, you can leave." Also two weeks before we arrived, I emailed them to let them know that I am allergic to harsh chemicals in the hot tub, Loni (Ms. Personality again) said there probably wasn't anything she could do. So upon our arrival, the hot tub didn't work at all. They told me it would take a few days, but they did send someone the next day and he sort of make it function until they could order the parts. Unfortunately, we used it that night and the next night it wouldn't work at all. So we gave up on that which was the big reason we chose the place. All the rugs were filthy and torn up and made it dangerous to walk around as anyone could trip on them. The rugs were so old, dirty and worn out and should have been replaced years ago. I will note years ago we did stay at one of their properties in Ventura which was clean and nice and somehow this company doesn't care anymore. And Colt should NEVER be a manager. NO I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP AS YOU WILL SEE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS AND MY PHOTOS ARE ATTACHED AND BY THE WAY, I HAVE A PERFECT RECORD AND REVIEWS FROM EVERY VRBO AND AIRBNB I'VE STAYED AT. The entire property is run down and needs a renovation. We came here two years ago and we had a great family vacation. This year the pool is in disrepair ( many missing tiles, waterfalls and lights do not work) outdoor toilet still broken from 8/23,the outdoor BBQ is in operable ( they substitute a Weber grill) the landscaping is dying and rundown. I would never book with SunnyDays Rentals again. During our stay, the power went out for nearly ten hours - in 90-degree heat and the property didn't even have air conditioning to begin with, just a single fan. Once the power went out, we had absolutely no airflow, no lights, and no way to cook the food we just bought or cool down. It was miserable. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of response from the hosts. They offered nothing - no partial refund, no help finding a hotel, not even to cover takeout when we couldn't cook dinner. Just a generic apology saying it was a "city-wide outage" and therefore not their responsibility. I wasn't asking for a full refund, just a fair partial one for the time the place was unusable. Other hosts I've stayed with have gone out of their way to make things right in similar situations, even when the issue was out of their control. SunnyDays did the bare minimum - actually, less than that. Their follow-up "offer" was 5-10% off a future stay, which honestly just added insult to injury. After sweating through a night in 90-degree heat with no power and no support, I definitely won't be booking again. If you value basic hospitality or empathy, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. read more

This review is a little overdue because we were hoping Sunny Days would make things right BUT that didn't happen!!! I don't like to write bad reviews, but this experience with Sunny Days was so bad that I have to warn others!!! We booked a house in Murrieta for 6 families for the 4th holiday, MAINLY and I repeat MAINLY for the POOL, which the 10+ kids were most excited about because it was the middle of summer and 100+ degrees! BUT when we arrived, the pool was disgusting! Green algae, black mold, duck feces, just completely filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The pool equipment didn't seem to be working either. We immediately called Sunny Days, and they told us no one could come out because it was the 4th of July. They said someone would come the next day, but even then, shocking the pool with chemicals means it wouldn't be safe for our kids to swim in for MINIMUM 24 hours, if not longer. So basically, the main reason we rented this place was useless. LET ME ASK YOU SUNNY DAYS EMPLOYEES - WOULD YOU THROW YOUR KIDS IN THE POOL A FEW HOURS AFTER SHOCKING THE POOL WITH A BUNCH OF CHEMICALS??? THINK FROM THE CUSTOMER MIND!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT MORE PEOPLE TO RENT YOUR PROPERTIES!!!! CMON!!! On top of that, the inside of the house was subpar. There was broken glass on the floor in one of the rooms, the place felt dirty, outdated, and the bath hardware in on bathroom literally fell off the wall when we tried to hang a towel. We paid good money for this place and expected way better. We only stayed one night because we couldn't find another place fast enough and we had so much luggage. So Sunny Days offered only 50% of the room rate (ONLY the room rate not the other fees) even though we were there less than 24hrs for a 4 day rental. That's not acceptable!!! The ENTIRE TRIP was ruined because of the pool, and the house wasn't up to standard either. We deserve a full refund. LET'S NOT JUST TALK ABOUT THE PROPERTY BUT ALL THOSE FAMILIES DISAPPOINTMENT AND THE KIDS NOT BEING ABLE TO ENJOY AND HAVING TO RESCHEDULE THINGS ON A HOLIDAY WHERE MANY PLACES WERE SHUT DOWN. This place had bed bugs in the bunk bed room. I stayed here with 11 family members from all over. Some from Texas some from Northern California and some from Southern California. We had to deal with this company calling us "scammers" on Airbnb website. Which Airbnb ended up removing because of defamation. They had a pillow on the bed with bed bugs that read "welcome to our hive" maybe I'm over analyzing but how weird. They also tried say in a response to my review that I didn't come mention anything during our stay. That's because they wouldn't answer or respond. Then we are cleaning up and making beds to be good guests, that's when we saw the bed bugs on the bed. We took pictures and videos for proof. Two of us got bit and both had to get antibiotics. We took pictures of our bites. This place is a headache. It also has many issues from tables falling apart. The pool is not what it seems in pictures. Walls are paper thin. Rodents outside after 8pm. Mean customer service and will defame you if you are honest about your stay. Of course dealing with bed bugs is the worst of it. Airbnb requested all of us keep all belongings into a plastic bag and stored away for up to 1 year. Stay away from SunnyDays, these places aren't worth your time or money. read more

We noticed the first night that we were low on propane and the spa wasn't heating up as a result. Needed to spend several hours cleaning. No propane for the fire pit so was unusable the first night. Bring your own pots and pans ... also unusable. Paid extra for the spa (knew there was a noise ordinance) but nothing said the spa would not turn on after 10pm. You can certainly be quiet in a jacuzzi . Stayed in the absolutely worst airbnb that this company rents out. There were rat traps and rat droppings all over the house. We could hear the mice squeaking over the air vents. One of our friends ended up stepping on a glue trap. We eventually ended up finding rat droppings on one of the beds as well and around the night stand. We tried contacting the host about the problem and were left with a pathetic apology about how they will get on it. This is absolutely a health hazard that can leave people really sick. Yet this management property knew about the problem from a previous client who also raised a concerns about the situation and decided to do nothing and keep hosting the airbnb very negligent on their part. Stayed in one of the rentals in Temecula for One of the reasons we went to this location was for the spa. It was broken the entire weekend and took them forever to have somebody out to find out why. When the repair people finally got there, they found a bad sensor that would take beyond the time we were staying there to fix. Hence, no spa that we paid extra for and they haven't returned the extra hundred plus dollars that we paid. Also, the rental was in February, but the central heating wasn't working. They did not have extra blankets, even though they promised extra linen. we had to scrounge extra blankets out of our cars just to sleep. They came the second day in the afternoon, but could not fix the thermostat. Other issues, clogged shower that we couldn't use, clogged kitchen sink, televisions, not hooked up, Wi-Fi was not strong enough to support the televisions that were hooked up, place was generally un, swept and not clean when we got there, last, but certainly not least, was the live and dead rat we saw as well as dropping. Despite calling numerous times, the only thing they resolved, was the one clogged shower, but that was done the second day. They are not refunding despite all the problems. I wouldn't recommend these people at any of their properties, especially the one in Temecula. read more

The kitchen is well stocked, and the showers and towels are good. But considering what is being charged for overnights here, several improvements could be made. The living room area rug curls on the edge near the kitchen. It's tripping hazard. The bathrooms need shelving for toiletries. The upstairs bathroom has no electric outlets. Also should have a mirror above the sink. The bathroom vanities are way too tiny. Bedrooms need tables near electrical outlets for digital devices. The bedding could be more attractive and an armchair in the bedrooms would be nice. Should have a how to guide for the air conditioner units. TV is not user-friendly and could also use a how to. I want to caution anyone from using Sunny Day Vacation Rentals. I booked one of their Palm Spring properties for my daughter's birthday, paid in full. Plane tickets booked. We were excited to take our first trip to Palm Springs. I received an email yesterday, a month before our scheduled trip, letting us know that they were canceling our reservation with no explanation as to why and offering two other homes. I had spent weeks researching locations and picked this home specifically because of the walkability to places we wanted to visit. The other two homes were not in the same location as our pick so I declined the two options and asked for a full refund. I understand that things happen. Upon further research, I noticed that the home had gone up significantly in price for the week before and after our trip, as I was willing to move our vacation dates around. I quickly realized that they canceled because they wanted to raise the rate on the rental and instead of honoring the price I paid, they canceled. When I brought this to their attention, they said it was because they had reached their limit on bookings this year for that property. I checked today and sure enough, I can rent the property for the dates they canceled on me for 2.5x the amount I paid. I would have been more understanding if they would have been truthful. Needless to say, I'm awaiting the refund so that I can book another property. This was unprofessional and I would suggest using another company. read more

My wife and I had booked Grape Desires to renew our wedding vows with a small dinner with family at the rental. Everything went perfect until the spa heat reaching 107 degrees. We had this event approved months in advance to learn the day of the event Colt Bosson was harassing us on the event stating it was not approved. after several hours of back and forth dialog Colt continue to try and cancel the event. Lucky I had old messages from when we had booked the event that showed the event was approved. Extremely stressful and it pretty much destroyed the day. Colt Bosson should not be managing these rentals. A good manger would have tried to work out a solution vs disrupting the tenants and guest. Sunny Days were also caught eavesdropping on conversations my wife and I had while at the rental property. Security cameras watching over the pool where my daughters swim etc. Be careful with this place and be sure to cover the security cams. People need to be aware that this host is unreliable. They gave us an excuse of a "system glitch". This just means that they mis-managed the reservations. They promised to reenburse us for the cost but, here it is Mid January and after 3 phone calls they cuntinue to give us the run around.
