    This review is long overdue as I've been contacting Colt weekly since the disastrous stay in Ventura. No reply! This was in September. I was reading some reviews that the home had a spiral staircase and that for people who are older, just ask for a key, there are two separate walkways to the yard, and so I called Loni at Sunny Days (do yourself a favor stay away from her too). She said, you can't count on reviews and that there is no key. I got there and sure enough there was a lockbox and there was the key. She didn't even apologize and always made me feel like she could care less about giving any customer service and made me feel like I was bothering her. Things went way downhill from then. We got into the house at 5:!5, we were allowed in at 4. p.m and as we walked in the cleaning lady startled me as she was walking out. WHAT WAS SHE DOING THERE STILL? SHE SURE WASN'T CLEANING. I asked the manager Cory, what was she doing there so late. No answer. IT WAS FILTY. I am attaching photos of my foot after walking on the floor. The downstairs patio outside our bedroom spelled ENTIRE OF URINE. The kitchen was still dirty. I called right away to have me routed to another home, they declined and offered to have someone come and clean the home. I told them I don't want to have someone here as I have a service animal and we can't leave the home and I don't want someone in there with my belongings. So instead they brought me a Swiffer so I can clean it myself. I spent the entire week cleaning the house. (Just what everyone wants to do on vacation). Things got way worse. On the third night as we were going to bed, I saw that we had two sheets in the bed, I lifted up the sheet and on one side was a "blood stained sheet" and on the other " a poop stain". I was ENRANGED and contact them and again LONI answered and said, "if you don't like it, you can leave." Also two weeks before we arrived, I emailed them to let them know that I am allergic to harsh chemicals in the hot tub, Loni (Ms. Personality again) said there probably wasn't anything she could do. So upon our arrival, the hot tub didn't work at all. They told me it would take a few days, but they did send someone the next day and he sort of make it function until they could order the parts. Unfortunately, we used it that night and the next night it wouldn't work at all. So we gave up on that which was the big reason we chose the place. All the rugs were filthy and torn up and made it dangerous to walk around as anyone could trip on them. The rugs were so old, dirty and worn out and should have been replaced years ago. I will note years ago we did stay at one of their properties in Ventura which was clean and nice and somehow this company doesn't care anymore. And Colt should NEVER be a manager. NO I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP AS YOU WILL SEE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS AND MY PHOTOS ARE ATTACHED AND BY THE WAY, I HAVE A PERFECT RECORD AND REVIEWS FROM EVERY VRBO AND AIRBNB I'VE STAYED AT. NOT ONLY THAT, ALL THE REVIEWS SAY "ROSA AND ERIC" ARE THE BEST GUESTS WE HAVE EVER HAD AND ARE WELCOMED BACK ANYTIME" ESPECIALLY AS WE CLEAN UP ALWAYS AFTER OURSELVES AND LEAVE THE PLACES NEAT AND DISHES PUT AWAY AND GARBAGE REMOVED!! They did bring sheets over after they saw the stains but it was already half way through our trip. I asked how blood and poop stains remained on the sheets without the house cleaning lady knowing that. No answer. Before we left, we should have been reimbursed for the entire vacation obviously, All I did was stress out and clean the place. Can you believe after all that, we left it clean, because that's what we always do. So I told Colt, the least you can do is give me the refund for the cleaning fee. REASONABLE REQUEST RIGHT? NOPE, NO ANSWER FROM HIM. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. SUFFICE IT TO SAY, WE WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR PROPERTIES. I HOPE THIS REVIEWS ALONG WITH THE OTHERS LIKE MINE, CLOSE THIS COMPANY DOWN!!

    Weeds and unkept landscape

    The entire property is run down and needs a renovation. We came here two years ago and we had a great family vacation. This year the pool is in disrepair ( many missing tiles, waterfalls and lights do not work) outdoor toilet still broken from 8/23,the outdoor BBQ is in operable ( they substitute a Weber grill) the landscaping is dying and rundown. For what we paid we should have just gone to casino and used those facilities. I'll never return and I'll tell my friends to not use this company.

    This review is a little overdue because we were hoping Sunny Days would make things right BUT that didn't happen!!! I don't like to write bad reviews, but this experience with Sunny Days was so bad that I have to warn others!!! We booked a house in Murrieta for 6 families for the 4th holiday, MAINLY and I repeat MAINLY for the POOL, which the 10+ kids were most excited about because it was the middle of summer and 100+ degrees! BUT when we arrived, the pool was disgusting! Green algae, black mold, duck feces, just completely filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The pool equipment didn't seem to be working either. We immediately called Sunny Days, and they told us no one could come out because it was the 4th of July. They said someone would come the next day, but even then, shocking the pool with chemicals means it wouldn't be safe for our kids to swim in for MINIMUM 24 hours, if not longer. So basically, the main reason we rented this place was useless. LET ME ASK YOU SUNNY DAYS EMPLOYEES - WOULD YOU THROW YOUR KIDS IN THE POOL A FEW HOURS AFTER SHOCKING THE POOL WITH A BUNCH OF CHEMICALS??? THINK FROM THE CUSTOMER MIND!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT MORE PEOPLE TO RENT YOUR PROPERTIES!!!! CMON!!! On top of that, the inside of the house was subpar. There was broken glass on the floor in one of the rooms, the place felt dirty, outdated, and the bath hardware in on bathroom literally fell off the wall when we tried to hang a towel. We paid good money for this place and expected way better. We only stayed one night because we couldn't find another place fast enough and we had so much luggage. So Sunny Days offered only 50% of the room rate (ONLY the room rate not the other fees) even though we were there less than 24hrs for a 4 day rental. That's not acceptable!!! The ENTIRE TRIP was ruined because of the pool, and the house wasn't up to standard either. We deserve a full refund. LET'S NOT JUST TALK ABOUT THE PROPERTY BUT ALL THOSE FAMILIES DISAPPOINTMENT AND THE KIDS NOT BEING ABLE TO ENJOY AND HAVING TO RESCHEDULE THINGS ON A HOLIDAY WHERE MANY PLACES WERE SHUT DOWN. SUNNY DAYS, I'm giving you the chance to do the right thing. Fix this and refund us in full. You let us down big time, and if you want to keep customers, you need to make this right.

    This place had bed bugs in the bunk bed room. I stayed here with 11 family members from all over. Some from Texas some from Northern California and some from Southern California. We had to deal with this company calling us "scammers" on Airbnb website. Which Airbnb ended up removing because of defamation. They had a pillow on the bed with bed bugs that read "welcome to our hive" maybe I'm over analyzing but how weird. They also tried say in a response to my review that I didn't come mention anything during our stay. That's because they wouldn't answer or respond. Then we are cleaning up and making beds to be good guests, that's when we saw the bed bugs on the bed. We took pictures and videos for proof. Two of us got bit and both had to get antibiotics. We took pictures of our bites. This place is a headache. It also has many issues from tables falling apart. The pool is not what it seems in pictures. Walls are paper thin. Rodents outside after 8pm. Mean customer service and will defame you if you are honest about your stay. Of course dealing with bed bugs is the worst of it. Airbnb requested all of us keep all belongings into a plastic bag and stored away for up to 1 year. Stay away from SunnyDays, these places aren't worth your time or money.

    I still have not seen the 50% refund offered. It's been month. We have many families that were so negatively impacted by the oversight of this company.

    Beautiful home in Temecula ! Attention to detail was the drawback. Paid extra for small event ($500) and the backyard chairs, tables , ping pong table were filthy. Needed to spend several hours cleaning. No propane for the fire pit so was unusable the first night. Bring your own pots and pans ... also unusable. Paid extra for the spa (knew there was a noise ordinance) but nothing said the spa would not turn on after 10pm. You can certainly be quiet in a jacuzzi . Listing says cable is available ... it is not. Listing needs updated photos , not quite as it appears. The attention to readying the house for guests was lacking

    Rat poop

    Wish I could give this place zero stars. Completely unacceptable renting conditions and should be banned from any future bookings. The home in which we stayed was unsanitary due to a rodent infestation. The place was riddled with rat feces and traps scattered throughout the home. There was no heads up about the condition of the listing and when we contacted the property managers they were not helpful with reconciling the situation. When I was getting ready for bed there was rat poop in the bed where I was supposed to sleep. We even had to store food in our cars in order to prevent the rats from eating our food. It blows my mind that a place can continue to rent out to people when it is a complete health violation. Please do not rent from these people.

    Stayed in the absolutely worst airbnb that this company rents out. There were rat traps and rat droppings all over the house. We could hear the mice squeaking over the air vents. One of our friends ended up stepping on a glue trap. We eventually ended up finding rat droppings on one of the beds as well and around the night stand. We tried contacting the host about the problem and were left with a pathetic apology about how they will get on it. This is absolutely a health hazard that can leave people really sick. Yet this management property knew about the problem from a previous client who also raised a concerns about the situation and decided to do nothing and keep hosting the airbnb very negligent on their part. Stay clear of this host properties as they clearly don't care about your well being.

Usually Management Companies would provide less-than-averaged quality service in this type of orders because the profit is slim. However, Julie and her team outperformed my expectations and definitely earn the future businesses with me. Julie shows patience and loves sharing her expertises in Property Management even before she nails the business with us. In tenant selection process, Julie reviewed, led tours, and researched for background info of multiple applications. Before handed the top qualifiers for us to review, Julie researched into every corner of the applicant's background to minimize the risk of having bad apples. Quickly within 2 weeks, we signed a rental agreement with an application with averaged credit scores of over 750 and sufficient deposit. We are happy about the experience with Scout Property Management and want to recommend them to you.

They allowed unreasonable requests from tenants (or perhaps were simply looking for ways to bill more) and consistently made the owner feel like the problem. That was not the case--the owner has years of experience managing rentals and have always been fair, kind, and quick to address any issues. Instead of providing reliable support, this company was unprofessional and dismissive.

After paying a nearly $5k security deposit, we discovered 4+ months into our tenancy that both our Smoke Detectors AND C02 detectors were all either faulty or defective. When we requested a thorough walkthrough with House Match of the property due to our fear of faulty wiring (we were warned by multiple electricians that the wiring was extremely funky - example: the faulty smoke detector in the office was wired to the office fan which never worked until we discovered the wiring. Linda, Amanda, Pearl, and most important, Andrew (Drew) Butterfield failed to handle any major issue with courtesy, respect, or knowledge. AVOID HOUSEMATCH AT ALL COST!!! I know Pure Property Mgmt. technically owns them now, but they're still operating the 'House Match' way and it's both negligent, and a massive drain on your finances and time. Note: see drew's comment underneath. Yes Drew, we stopped paying because you were negligent and you/your staff refused to even acknowledge our emails until we stopped paying. It's called withholding rent due to unlivable conditions your bastard. If you want a SLUM LORD go with this guy, he'll harass you then try to slander you on the internet not to mention if your house happens to go up in flames due to faulty wiring he'll see 'well that's why we require renter's insurance' - which doesn't replace lost lives you dimwit. Btw Drew, releasing private information on the INTERNET like that is a breach of privacy per the court order. I'll be sure to pass that along to them ;) As i said, Drew's is an absolute a$$. As a tenant, it's refreshing to work with a management company that really cares about all parties involved and makes sure that everyone has a positive rental experience. We appreciate the care and attention to detail that Lauren and her team put into every step of the process. When we were looking for a new home, Elizabeth was extremely helpful with guiding us through the application process and helped us find the perfect new home. Stephanie has been amazing with keeping us up to date with anything requests from the owners. The tenants they've found for us have been very financially responsible, have taken good care of our property, and have stayed a long time. Lauren, Amber, Danielle, and their team, have always gone above and beyond helping us find local resources for necessary maintenance, repairs and service (like pool service). I am especially appreciative of how well they communicate and act as liaison between us and the tenants. They truly go above and beyond the call of duty.
