The manager Isabel went above and beyond to make me feel special and I truly did. All the staff were so kind from the moment we walked in and made us feel right at home. Shortly after getting to our room, Isabel sent a charcuterie board, chips with salsa and guac, and a sparkling non alcoholic cider to the room with a very sweet note. It was incredibly thoughtful and so appreciated. After that we all had a very relaxing time at the spa, and I had a great prenatal massage. As we were leaving the spa they gave me a little goodie bag as a congratulations which made my heart melt. The rooms were so cozy and clean and the beds were very comfy. We all woke up refreshed the next day and some of us even made it to yoga! I am so grateful to have had my babymoon here and grateful to Isabel for truly making it an experience I'll never forget. We loved it so much my friend bought my baby a little Lodge at Torrey Pines onesie from the gift shop! I have since had my baby and every time she wears it, it reminds me of our great weekend at the lodge. I now recommend staying here to all of our friends. Thanks for making a pregnant girl feel so special

Everything from the grounds to the rooms felt well cared for and thoughtfully designed. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax and slow down for a bit, whether you're enjoying the views or just hanging out on the property. Service was solid and the overall experience felt polished without being over the top. Definitely a spot I'd come back to--would absolutely stay here again.

The owners are very responsive and communicate regularly with you by text/email as soon as you make your reservation. Once you arrive, you will hear from them daily by text. They are also on the property daily and easy to reach. The suite was beautiful, and the full kitchen was well equipped with dishes/glasses, pots/pans, all kinds of utensils--a fine cook's dream! However, I am not a fine cook or dreamer so I did zero cooking. And the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious and way better than anything I could have cooked. Still, I appreciated having a full size fridge, dishes/glasses, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The suite also had two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and a variety of streaming options if you wanted to stay in and watch shows/movies. We did not do too much of that because there are so many great wineries nearby (too little time) and those wineries not only have tasting bars but also restaurants! So we were on the go a lot, and I missed out on sitting on the patio on the property and gazing at the twinkling stars and visiting the cute chickens on the property. The only thing that needs improving is a fix to the sliding closet door (off the track and made it unusable). One day I hope to return to this lovely property and participate in star gazing and chicken meet and greets! P.S. Easy parking, circular driveway if you want to unload the car before parking, and welcoming lobby.

I was a little hesitant to book it because I never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast establishment before. I decided to give it a try after reading great reviews and we really enjoyed our stay. After booking, I received a text which included a list of activities, their favorite wineries, lunch, and dinner suggestions. We ended up booking a couple things based on their suggestions. On the day of our arrival, we received a text letting us know our room was available early. We definitely enjoyed that but we were having lunch and arrived around 3:30pm. The room was beautiful and had a sweet handwritten note on the bed. The hostess (wish I remembered her name) was nice and recommended Altisima for their frozen drinks. We went on a Friday afternoon and it ended up being our favorite winery of the trip. Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning at 9am with a nice setup and it was really good. The breakfast burrito was our favorite. We made coffee afterwards and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the vineyards. When we returned in the evenings, we turned on the fireplace in the room and just relaxed. It was a relaxing stay. Only one small suggestion would be to add blackout curtains. The sun beamed through the sides and top of the drapes, making it hard to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely return.

He went through his little tutorial of each wine, what was in it, what you could smell or taste. My daughter asked him about stronger wine's which he was happy to go into detail about. They had a barrel wine, which my daughter loved, then I had to ask "hey do you have a port". Yes they do, a delicious, exquisite, red port and a white port. I purchased one. Oh and the little shareable menu please try their homemade hummus. It was delicious. I will be coming back here for our anniversary to stay at one of the villa's. And don't forget to stop in the gift shop there were so many cute things in there.

Even on a nice Saturday afternoon during brunch hours, it wasn't too crowded or busy at all. We mostly stayed in the tasting room then went in the member's lounge for bit before taking a walk outside. It's pretty spacious, attracting more of a mature older crowd, if that's your thing. The staff we encountered were all enthusiastic. They even had a taco guy there near the member's lounge which was great- they had a mushroom taco for my veggie people and a cheese quesadilla for the vegetarians. While I had a good time, I'm not sure I'd ever come back here. It wasn't bad, just nothing compelling me to come back-especially since I'm not a drinker, just came to explore with some friends. I'm particularly looking for the winery with the best brunch menu and an interesting crowd of people, which I didn't find here. If you enjoy wine, good scenery and a somewhat lokey spot where you can get out, yet, still have some space to yourself and escape the crowds, this is probably the winery for you.

We had a really nice stay at the Treehouse property. We were a family of 12 and we had plenty of…read moreroom and never felt like we were "on top of each other". In fact, if I were to design a vacation family home I would use this floor plane almost exactly! The bedrooms were nicely placed and each had their own full bathrooms. The primary suite had a bathtub and a twin trundle bed which met our family's need for our family with 2 young children. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were adjacent to the primary and had their own full baths with showers. Each of those bedrooms had Queen sized beds, which I must admit I hope the owner will consider changing at least the middle bedroom (plenty of space to do do) to a King sized bed. The 3rd bedroom might be tight but I would rather have a King sized bed and no night stand (personal preference). Also, the main area noise does carry straight back to the middle bedroom so place your heaviest sleepers in there! A door between the kitchen and the bedrooms would really help that but that would not stop me from renting this lovely home again! Main area and kitchen were nicely appointed and super comfortable. Fireplace worked beautifully! Games were stocked under the bar area. In warmer weather sliding doors could be opened for a huge open entertainment flow. We made breakfasts and lunches no dinners but the kitchen had everything you would need for meal prep( bring extras like foil and spices). Moving downstairs. We had a 2 year old so a door or baby gate up top would be recommended. I was surprised the downstairs floor was concrete. It does show that when I looked back at the photos but I just hadn't noticed. They do have a rug under the sofa/tv area and a fireplace. The area was really completely self contained and perfect for one of our families. Again, a King sized bed would be appreciated in the main bedroom and as the listing stated you HAVE TO ENTER THE 5TH BEDROOM THROUGH THE 4TH BEDROOM. This was perfect for our family with kids but would be a little odd if another couple were staying there. It is a bunkroom so I feel like it would only be used for families with kids so it was perfect! Both these bedrooms had no windows so they were great for sleeping in! Also, the downstairs had it's own heating system so you could completely control the downstairs temp which is not always the case. Big bonus! WIFI was slow when using our devices but the TV did not ever buffer while watching. Downstairs access right out to the firepit which we used to make Smores was perfect. House was SUPER clean upon arrival! I swept up the crumbs we produced after the first day then mopped the upstairs main area (neat freak) and the mop cover did not get full of dirt indicating the floor had been previously cleaned very well! Uber impressed! They do have you remove your trash to containers on property prior to check out but that was understandable and not a problem. Plenty of hot water. Water pressure good. House was not preheated upon arrival but warmed up super fast one HVAC was turned on. Jacuzzi was preheated upon our arrival so no waiting for it to heat. Lots of towels both bath and jacuzzi. This house is remote as stated. Down the end of a paved road. Gate to unlock (maybe install a motion activated light so we could read the lock at night) and then down a dirt road at lease a mile I would say. I personally LOVED the quiet. Someone else might be a bit uncomfortable with that. We left during a rain storm and the dirt road seemed fine. I don't know if that would be a problem had it rained many days or heavier. There are cameras at the entry gate to the property and someone does come EVERY time you leave and make certain the gate is locked. This was a comfort to me as someone is making certain only our party entered. The outdoor front patio could have been cleaner (dirt and leaves blown) but to be fair it was Fall and you are in the wilderness. Plenty of outdoor parking behind house. House is about 20 minutes from Old Town where we dined every night when not attending wedding festivities 5 minutes away at Galway Downs. I would highly recommend this property. Super clean and comfortable. As stated earlier I would totally use this floor plan if I were to build my own vacay home! We had a wonderful stay.
