Had the pleasure to be the hair and makeup artist for a client at this beautiful place this past November. The house is decorated very trendy chic and the staff is very accommodating. We were able to have 3 hair and makeup stations in the well lite bathroom of the master bedroom. There was plenty of room for the bridal party of 7 to chit chat with each other while we were providing our services to them. We went to visit this property and a sister property on June 12th and we travelled from Arizona to see the property. When we went to visit the property, he not only showed up late, but did rush us through the property. At the sister property, there was plenty of work that needed to be completed, but we still wanted to see the property. He told us that we will have to have the music in the pool room due to the noise ordinances with the County of Riverside. We said that will not work for us due to us having approximately 100-150 people in attendance for the wedding. He then stated that we can do the dancing on the basketball court. We then went to visit the Que Syrah property and we were totally in love with the property. We had plans for having an April 2021 wedding and he said that he would send over the contract to us after the viewing of the property because we wanted to move quickly so we can book vendors for the day of and he informed us that he would provide us with the contract that states, "due to CoVID, if we have to cancel, we will give you 100% of the payment back". My wedding planner contacted him after we left and we were ready for payment and signature of the contract. He sent us back an email on Friday, June 19th, a week after visiting the properties, illustrating to us that he installed cameras due to a party that was thrown on his property the weekend before, where the tenants lied about the amount of occupants. I do not understand the importance of him letting us know about the installation of the cameras or the indecency of other occupants, but I thought he would elaborate on this. In the e-mail, he also attached a memorandum dated on the day of the property tour, June 12th, from the County of Riverside regarding CoVID and hosting big events being prohibited. Unbeknownst to us, there was a 150+ attendant wedding on his Que Syrah property on the weekend of September 26th. Unprofessionally, he did not let us know of any changes and clearly did not want to do business with us. Him bringing up the cameras and all of these different excuses of not wanting to do business with us, made me feel very discriminated against ESPECIALLY, if he is holding big weddings on his property AFTER he sent over an email including a mandate regarding him not being allowed to do big events on his property. Throughout this process, he was highly unprofessional and it is unfortunate that he refused to do business with us or return any emails to my wedding planner. read more

Que Syrah is now my go-to place to stay when in Temecula; or anywhere within a 30-mile radius, for that matter. When I look for places to stay, I look for location and a little luxury (that's why they call it vacation, right!?). Que Syrah is positioned on a hill that is surrounded on all sides by vineyards and wineries. You couldn't be closer unless you stayed at an actual winery; but, most of the wineries offering accommodations in Temecula are over-touristy, under-charming and over-priced. I know, I've stayed there. This multi-suite mansion has stunning views from every balcony and patio. It's just the right size for a small destination wedding and could even be used for just the wedding party with more guests at other area hotels. The beds are Tempur-Pedic foam style and are a dream to sleep on. The entire building, rooms included, are decorated with bold, modern colors and furniture which gives the place a homey feel that you can't get at other run-of-the-mill hotels and resorts that opt for cookie cutter spaces and neutral tone accouterments. There's a large hot tub out back, a huge, open kitchen and dining room (perfect for starting out the day), upstairs and downstairs communal lounge areas and even a bar. There were pastries, fruit, Keurig coffee (with Irish cream liquor!), and juice available for free every morning. There's an option for a bottle of wine in your room for an upcharge that was reasonable (and maybe even cheaper than retail for the bottle we got). Every single part of our experience was flawless and comfortable and allowed my guest and I to focus on nothing else, but each other. The owners, Mike and David, are not only accommodating, but pleasant, friendly and endearing. They even provide a cell phone number for any issues that might pop up. Staying here is basically like staying at your (wealthy) friend's house who is EXTREMELY eager to please and has a great sense of style. We loved every second and know you will, too. read more

I shot a wedding at Qye Syrah where my clients rented the entire venue (instead of individual rooms) for their weekend wedding celebration. They had their family members from out of town stay in the plentiful and spacious rooms. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. My clients were able to convert the backyard with use of a tent, lights & a dance floor. The front of the house and garden was used in the wedding ceremony. The interior of this mansion like home is very chic and stylish. The surrounding grounds are also beautiful and we were able to get some good images at the event. This is a fantastic spot to stay with a big group! We had a group of 22 stay here for our wedding weekend and everyone had more than enough space. Our wedding was at Lorimar Winery (6 minute drive) but in addition to staying there, we used the Que Syrah Resort for a Welcome Party the day before and getting ready the day of. A few of us arrived one day early and booked a single room at the resort (it is able to be booked hotel-style if no one has booked the whole place). Mike and David were wonderful hosts. They greeted us when we arrived even though we checked in late in the evening and gave us a tour of the whole place. Que Syrah is beautiful inside and out. The lawn made a perfect location for our welcome party. They moved two bars outside for us and set up chairs and small tables. We brought lawn games and had more than enough space for our 70 guests in the backyard alone though we could have expanded inside as well. The master suite is huge, the closet alone is bigger than our apartment bedroom back in LA. We had more than enough space to get ready there just in the suite alone. All of our guests loved their rooms and the views from the balconies were fantastic. Plenty of parking for the guests of the house as well as the larger group for the welcome party - we had tons of room to spare. I highly recommend this resort for any large group and it is extra great for weddings. If you are considering Que Syrah - book it!! read more

I booked Que Syrah for my wedding the other weekend for our closest friends to stay in for the weekend. We booked it unseen and could not have been happier with the result! Everything was super clean and looked just like the pictures. The management was super easy to communicate with. (I had initially found it on airbnb but was able to book it directly with Mike, which turned out cheaper!) Vanessa was great answering questions we had about the place leading up to the event, like if they had a keurig (which they do) and how to get a caterer in and out! They helped set up tables for the rehearsal dinner as well as took them down the next day. They were like little mice, I barely even knew they had shown up! I wish I had the funds to stay there every weekend because I would!!! If we ever have reason to book it again, no doubt, best place to stay in Temecula!!! read more

Que Syrah Resort IS the perfect place to host a wedding and family get together, as we found out. We first found out about Que Syrah Resort in September 13' and scheduled a site tour with Katrina (Resort manager). Upon first meet she was the most personable person we had dealt with so far in our wedding planning process, professional yet friendly, proper yet delightfully caring. She took approximately 30 minutes showing us around the entire property inside and out and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We told her we wanted to reserve the entire resort to host a wedding weekend for our family, including a Thanksgiving dinner with our family. Our vision was to have both of our families (my Wife's side and mine) come together for an epic weekend, to celebrate family and to celebrate the union between our families on our wedding day. Once we had decided to book the property we went on multiple visits to show our family around the property before we would all stay there. Mike (the owner) and Katrina were more than accommodating to show us around and we never felt rushed. We always felt welcomed to come back. The Resort: It is ran like a bed and breakfast, but with all the upgrades and contemporary feel of a fancy hotel. Keep in mind we booked the entire property for our stay, but you are also able to book individual rooms. All the rooms are large, each either has a balcony or a door leading directly outside to take in the fantastic views Temecula has to offer. The bathrooms are spacious, closets are bigger then most bedrooms, and each room is decorated fashionably. The common areas are a great place to hang out as well. A living room upstairs and downstairs, a bar area, a mansion sized kitchen with two stoves, and a dining room big enough to seat a large group of people. The backyard is gorgeous, with a jacuzzi that I sadly did not have time to use, but our family sure did enjoy. There is plenty of space to play catch or just sit outside, enjoy the crisp air, and look up at the clear view of the stars. If you happen to wake up early enough you will catch people riding colorful hot air balloons! We did not have any extra time to enjoy the wineries surrounding us, but we were in close proximity to plenty of them. The master bedroom was first off, HUGE, truly mansion sized, the only thing it was missing was a small kitchen and I would not mind living up there for who knows how long. Giant 10 person shower (at least it seemed like it, we did not attempt) with two shower heads, jet bathtub, private restroom with bidet, two sinks... I can go on and on. Wedding (11/30/13) Leading up to our wedding day was hectic, but it all came together and could not have been any better. The layout of the resort was perfect to entertain the amount of guests that we had inside and out. Mike, Katrina, David, and a few others from the staff were present to assist with managing the property while the event was going on. They helped make sure our event ran flawlessly, which it did! There may have been a few hiccups on our end, but it was quickly sorted out and everyone attending had a blast; us as well! My wife and I had an amazing time the entire weekend we were at Que Syrah Resort. The property was flawless. The staff at Que Syrah went above and beyond what you would expect from a bed & breakfast or venue. We will be telling all of our friends about this place if they have not already heard. The best place to stay by far in Temecula! My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend for our friend's wedding at the Wilson Creek Winery nearby. It had all the comforts of home but the look and feel of staying in a hotel. I loved that everyone was spaced out in their own rooms and we had a lot of privacy. The proprietors of the establishment were on site a good majority of the time we were there and they have a little dog named Parker that walks around and socializes on occasion(dog people - can we say match made in heaven!?). Forget about reserving a room at Pechanga or any of the other hotels nearby - I plan on coming here. It's also a good place for multiple people to stay in, especially if you have friends or family coming in to town and are looking for that quality of spending time with them. They have more than enough space to accommodate all of your needs! read more

It is well suited for large groups -very clean & nicely decorated! Since we had our 2-year old with us ... it was slightly exhausting chasing her around ....but all in good fun - especially for her! Unbelievable! The biggest mansion for under $1300/night. You can easily sleep 50, park 30 cars, and fit another 100 for a huge party. We stayed here for my wedding at Wilson Creek Winery which is less than 10 miles away. You can easily can get lost finding this mansion, but it's totally worth the risk. He was accommodating in every way from beginning to end. We met him at the property and he introduced us to the home, and made sure we were happy before leaving. The house is amazing! I booked Que Syrah as a place for the entire wedding party to stay for the weekend of my son's wedding, originally planned for June 2020. Due to Covid, that event was cancelled, but Mike worked with me and I was able to transfer the exisiting reservation to the rescheduled date, which happened to fall on a holiday weekend. Additionally, the winery we had contracted with as the site of our rehearsal dinner cancelled, so with Mike's permission, we were able to hire caterers to come to Que Syrah and host the event there. It was so helpful that there were enough round tables and chairs on site for our number of guests. The rehearsal dinner was beautiful; the wedding party LOVED the accommodations, and everyone had a wonderful time! My thanks to Mike, Muna, Hugo, and whoever else I've forgotten to name who helped to make it all possible. It was a wonderful wedding weekend that we will never forget! read more

Que Syrah is a particular kind of place. We came for an overnight (to go to a wedding nearby), so it was more than we needed. This luxury property is perfect for any kind of group gathering, family reunion, etc. There are facilities for storing and cooking food, including an outdoor grill; an outdoor spa for soaking; and two gorgeously appointed living rooms with big screen TVs, perfect for watching a game. This property is a renovated (very large!) home, and is run now as a kind of "do it yourself" luxury house to stay in. The owners are onsite, but there is no "reception desk" or other kinds of hotel-style amenities (restaurant, etc.) Mike, the owner, welcomed us warmly, gave us a tour of the property and his phone number in case we needed any help! He had kindly upgraded us to a suite, and it was an amazing room with a huge walk-in closet, an enormous en-suite bathroom (with separate soaking tub and shower). As we sat on a balcony perfect for watching the sunset over the nearby vineyards with a glass of wine, we were tempted to skip the wedding and bask in the beautiful view and five-star ambiance. Perfect for a private getaway, this new enterprise with a combination of spectacular property and careful, detailed management will surely be as success. One warning: the bedrooms are upstairs, and (as far as we could tell) the only way up is a large (beautiful!) staircase. read more

My two best friends and I rented a room out here last week for a fun girls trip and we were blown away !! i also wanted to check it out because for my wedding in August my fiancé and I are renting out the whole house for our wedding party and I wish I could give more than 5 stars ! Wow is all I can say ! I am SO glad we booked this house for our wedding because now it's completely sold out and I understand why . The house is beautiful , the decor is very modern and cool but what stands out even more is the level of costumer service you receive here ! Bryn the house manager was the nicest most professional guy in the world ! My friends and I couldn't believe how amazing he was . In this day and age you just don't find costumer service like this ANYWHERE ! Bryn even gave us a bottle of champagne to start our mini vacation out right ! While we were out wine tasting we let him know we would like 2 bottles of white wine for when we got back to our room that night and sure enough in our room were the bottles chilled with glasses and a nice note waiting for us ! Amazing! Our group retreat was in awe of the beauty of this property. The house is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for us all and the owners were helpful with all our requests and the little details of our stay. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised in the morning as we enjoyed coffee on the patio by the beautiful hot air balloons that we could almost reach out and touch. We will surely be back! read more

Came here to celebrate a two year wedding anniversary with my wife. This place was wonderful. The ambiance was very nice. The interior of the mansion felt very classy, modern and homey. David, the manager of the site when we stayed was very nice and helpful with everything. David recommended places for wine tasting, restaurants and other places to check out. David made checking in a breeze and made us feel welcomed. My wife and I rented a queen size room located on the first floor. The rooms are named after wines I believed. The room was very nicely decorated (David told me he hand painted every room. That takes a lot of dedication!!!). The bed was very comfy including the pillows. If we needed something or had a question, David was right there to help us. I loved how Que Syrah is situated in wine country. Every place we went was just a 3-5 minute drive from the Mansion. I would definitely stay here again instead of staying at those dingy and overpriced Hotels, or Inns. read more
