The entire campground was clean, restrooms were clean for being outhouses, and everyone was very respectful. I took out the wild horse trail which was 4.5 miles out and 4.5 miles back to the trailhead. Trailheads are literally walking (steps) away from my site. Gorgeous views out here!!!

There's a fire pit and jacuzzi available. Our room was nice and cozy and we greatly appreciate the complementary note and gift. The only thing that wasn't working in the room was the TV. We just wanted some background noise and we kept finagling with it but no luck. We did let the front desk know and they're aware of the situation. We didn't have any issues with noise but maybe we were lucky and didn't have anyone else staying nearby. All the wine and food here is delicious. Really can't go wrong with this beautiful winery and no need to leave really. The only suggestion would be for the coffee shop on site to be open in the morning instead of later on in the day. I cannot say enough how much I HATED this experience. I will also NEVER trust Expedia again, because their customer support was completely worthless in getting this resolved.

The water is all natural and my mind and body feel almost cleansed and purified from this amazing place. It has 2 camp grounds that are meant only for groups, so sorry no single family camping here. The camp grounds are shaded by enormous vegetation and trees. So you can expect temperatures about 10 degrees less than Temecula weather. They have a enormous swimming pool that is free to use all day for campers. In the middle of the camp site is the remnants of a old town, you can see where the old saloon, bank, and jail were. It's pretty amazing just to look at the old artifacts they have there. If you have a groups of at least 10 families I totally recommend to check this place out and spend some quality family time. It is meant for church retreats so you will see things like the stations of the cross and statues of Jesus. I asked and you don't have to be religious to make a reservation here. I hope everyone has a chance to try this amazing place.

Unfortunately, our experience at check-in completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful stay. After we had already checked in and paid the required incidental deposit, we were unexpectedly told to pay an additional deposit. When I questioned this, the Front Desk Supervisor, Michael, told us that if we did not pay immediately, our reservation would be canceled, despite the fact that our stay had already been paid for. What was even more disappointing was the way we were treated. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude, with repeated references to "hotel policy" rather than any genuine effort to help. This happened on my husband's birthday, and it completely ruined the beginning of our celebration. The property deserves five stars, but the customer service we received at the front desk was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no guest should be treated this way.

We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.

Sure, she was pretty scared at first and stayed close to the center of the basket, avoiding to look out and down, but she started feeling more comfortable the longer we were in the sky. We booked on their website and used the promo code "Groupon" for a discounted price of about $180 per person. The meeting point was in the parking lot of a shopping center in Temecula at 5:30am. There, they went over some rules, info about hot air ballooning and there was a photographer/videographer, Wesly Cajuste, selling packages for stills and a video. He has a drone that follows the balloon. My friends and I decided to go for it since it was our first time and it was a special occasion (friend's birthday). We were very happy with the way the video and the photos came out. Then, a couple shuttle vans took us to where they were setting up the hot air balloons, which varies depending on the wind. Before getting in the basket, we got to go in the balloon while they were inflating it. It was chilly in the morning, but it gets pretty warm being under the propane tank, so hats and layers are suggested. We were 4 groups of 4 and were assigned to a huge balloon with 4 separate compartments we were snug in. The knowledgeable and experienced pilot, Brian, was in the middle. I read that the baskets have doors but we had to climb in ours. The ride was about an hour long and we had a spectacular view of Temecula valley. I was a little nervous about the landing, but Brian is clearly a pro and did a magnificent job with a smooth landing on an open field. No mimosas in the air since there are no restrooms, but they busted out the Crooks when we got out! The website said breakfast, but they actually just give out ziplocked bags of snacks. Lol! Totally not necessary. The balloon ride was the ultimate highlight! They also give a certificate, which includes a list of wineries you can get discounts at for having done the hot air experience.
