The whole plate was enormous; I definitely didn't finish it. My husband ordered the fried chicken and fish platter with French fries, and it was equally generous in size. We also started with the grit fritters as an appetizer, and they were fantastic--crispy on the outside and a nice surprise inside. Overall, the food was really on point with big, satisfying portions. The waitstaff seemed super busy but stayed friendly and attentive. The only downside for me was having to bus your own table at the end. We also tried the She Crab Bisque and it was over the top! Delicious and full of lump crab meat. When Maisie brought us our first plates, she asked us if we were considering the pork chop, which is exactly what we were interested in. She said there were only two left and held one for us. This is the kind of excellent service she provided throughout the meal. The pork chop was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a wonderful wood smoked flavor.
